I thought I must be out of space myself. But I looked at this thing and I sent it to Charlie Loughton, my friend and mentor, actually. I said, 'What do you make of this?' He was pretty wise and he said, 'I don't get it, Al. I dunno. I don't get it. ' I said, 'Well, I don't either; what are we going to do? They offered me a fortune, but I don't know. Austin Kolodney penned the screenplay for Dead Man's Wire, and the film already boasts an impressive ensemble cast. Bill Skarsgard, Dacre Montgomery, Myha'la, Cary Elwes, and Colman Domingo, all of whom were previously announced, will join Pacino in the thriller. The plot of 'Dead Man's Wire' is based on the real-life events of February 8, 1977, when Anthony G "Tony" Kiritsis, a 44-year-old man, entered the office of Richard O. EXCLUSIVE: Martin Freeman (The Hobbit) and Olga Kurylenko (Quantum Of Solace) are set to star in Let God Sort It Out, marking the first production from newly launched banner Cobalt Sky Motion Picture Group and Raised By Wolves (Dead Man's Wire). Motus Studios is handling international sales in Cannes this week. The film heralds from UK filmmaker Jamie Adams (She Is Love). He joins previously announced Bill Skarsgard, Dacre Montgomery, Myha'la, Cary Elwes and Colman Domingo. The official synopsis for the movie reads: "The morning of February 8, 1977, Anthony G. 'Tony' Kiritsis, 44, entered the office of Richard O. Hall, president of the Meridian Mortgage Company, and took him hostage with a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun wired with a 'dead man's wire' from the trigger to Tony's own neck. This is the true story of the stand-off that took the world by storm as Tony demanded $5 million, no charges or prosecution, and a personal apology from the Halls for cheating him out of what he was 'owed.' Pacino most recently starred in "Knox Goes Away". This is his first film with Van Sant. The Scent of a Woman Best Actor Oscar winner can next be seen in David Midell's "The Ritual", Eif Rivera's "Killing Castro", Julian Schnabel's "Hand of Dante", Alec Griffin Roth's "Billy Knight", and Nic Pizzolatto's "Easy Waltz".
