Holly Willoughby unrecognisable as she makes big change to her appearance
Holly looked really different in her latest post. Holly Willoughby has shown off the new look she's sporting these days which is a far cry from her ITV looks. The ex This Morning presenter shared a post on Instagram wavy hairstyle and a pair of very bold glasses. The 44-year-old posed up a storm in her car as she joked about being her children's 'personal party driver'. Holly captioned the snap: "Any other mums/dads of 16 year old, post GCSE children suddenly find themselves with a new role of personal party driver? Mums 'Mini' Cabs … and yes… I'm now a Glasses wearer… game changer." Holly and her husband Dan Baldwin share three children, Harry, 16, daughter Belle, 12, and nine-year-old son Chester. Their eldest son Harry has just completed his GCSE's and it appears like Holly is being his personal chauffeur after completing his exams, writes The Mirror. In the comments, Holly's fans gushed over her naturally wavy hair as one commented: "Gorgeous. You look so pretty and the glasses really suit you." Another echoed: "Wow!!! Holly you have never looked better." This comes after it was revealed that Holly has been left without an upcoming TV show. The star has been a staple on our screens for years but it seems that she hasn't got any upcoming projects. This is the first time that she hasn't had a programme lined-up in 21 years. This comes as her usual presenting gig on Dancing On Ice has come to an end as the show has been axed. Holly's other job hosting Bear Hunt with Bear Grylls also won't be happening again as that's been axed as well. She has also chosen to step away from You Bet! which means Stephen Mulhern will be hosting the show alone. It has been reported that Holly's husband Dan Baldwin is working on a reboot of Record Breakers which means Holly could be in with a chance of a presenting job. The Sun reported that a source said it would make "perfect sense" for Holly to be up for the role. They said: "Record Breakers is likely to be a prime time hit and it would make perfect sense for Holly to take the reins. She has worked alongside Dan before and the pair know what it takes to make great telly." Holly has also been in amongst a few names that could be hosting the reboot of Cilla Black's Blind Date. Other celebs that could be up include Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall. Another show Holly is being looked at for is a new Channel 4 programme where new undiscovered singers are found. Holly first returned back to TV last year after taking an 18 month break. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Ex-ITV This Morning star Holly Willoughby looks almost unrecognisable in new look
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Holly Willoughby has wowed her followers with a daring new style, and they are absolutely loving it. The ex-This Morning presenter, aged 44, took to Instagram this Thursday to show off her chic transformation, featuring tousled waves and some strikingly bold spectacles. The mother of three shared a selfie from the car, making light of her new role as 'personal party driver' for her kids. Holly's caption read: "Any other mums/dads of 16 year old, post GCSE children suddenly find themselves with a new role of personal party driver? Mums 'Mini' Cabs ... and yes... I'm now a Glasses wearer... game changer." Holly, alongside her husband Dan Baldwin, is a doting parent to their three children: 16 year old Harry, Belle who is 12, and Chester, aged nine. With Harry having just finished his GCSEs, it appears Holly has been drafted into driving duties for his post-exam celebrations. Following the reveal of her updated image, Holly's fans swarmed the comments section to praise her natural wavy locks, with one fan writing: "Gorgeous. You look so pretty and the glasses really suit you." Another fan added their voice, saying: "Wow! ! ! Holly you have never looked better," reports the Mirror. This flurry of admiration comes amidst reports that Holly's future career moves are uncertain, as she currently doesn't have any new television projects lined up. Despite being a familiar face on our screens for many years, fans may have to wait a while before seeing what's next for the star. The television favourite finds herself at a crossroads, facing the first time in 21 years without a programme in the pipeline. This follows the cancellation of her regular presenting role on Dancing On Ice, bringing the show to an end. Holly's other venture, Bear Hunt with Bear Grylls, has also been dropped from the schedule. Additionally, she has decided to step away from You Bet! leaving Stephen Mulhern to present solo. However, there's potential on the horizon as Holly's husband Dan Baldwin is reportedly developing a revival of Record Breakers, which could see Holly back in the presenting spotlight. The Sun cites an insider claiming it would be "perfect sense" for Holly to helm the show. The source commented: "Record Breakers is likely to be a prime time hit and it would make perfect sense for Holly to take the reins. She has worked alongside Dan before and the pair know what it takes to make great telly." Holly's name is also among those being considered for hosting duties on a reboot of Cilla Black's Blind Date, with Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall also in the running. Another potential project for Holly is a new Channel 4 show aimed at discovering fresh singing talent. Holly made her TV comeback last year after an 18-month hiatus. (Image: Instagram/ @hollywilloughby) Reports also suggest that ITV is eager to retain Holly's talents, following recent discussions with Katie Rawcliffe, director of entertainment and daytime, regarding future projects. An insider has disclosed: "Holly always intended to lock in new presenting roles for ITV, which has been her home for so long. She didn't have anything confirmed earlier this year just due to the way the cards had fallen, but there are a string of exciting projects on the table and 2025 is looking good for Holly." They continued, highlighting her career ambitions: "Holly is looking to the future and this week's meeting was a big part of that. It won't be a return to daytime programming but new entertainment formats." The strategic meeting happened alongside the broadcast of a documentary that delves into a harrowing episode from her past. The documentary in question, Channel 5's The Plot To Kill Holly Willoughby, showcased the chilling plans of an obsessed security guard named Gavin Plumb who intended to kidnap, assault, and kill Holly. Deciding not to be involved in the documentary, Holly made the choice subsequent to her traumatic ordeal to step back from her role on ITV1's This Morning and momentarily retire from her television commitments.

Holly Willoughby shows off her new look as she poses for car selfie during 'mum's mini cab' drive with her kids
Holly Willoughby sent fans into a frenzy as she unveiled a striking new look on Instagram on Thursday. The TV presenter, 44, looked worlds away from her usual style as she posed for a car selfie wearing bold, chunky black-frame glasses. Turning heads in a yellow and white striped shirt, Holly beamed at the camera as she showed off her new look and joked about her latest parenting challenge. 'Any other mum/dads of 16 year old / post GCSE children suddenly find themselves with a new role of personal party driver? Mums Mini Cabs and yes I'm now a glasses wearer ... game changer!' she captioned the snap. Holly and her husband Dan Baldwin are parents to son Harry, 16, daughter Belle, 12, and nine-year-old son Chester. It comes after Holly revealed a secret health battle that drove her to 'write herself off' in an emotional Channel 4 documentary. Jamie Oliver 's new show, Jamie's Dyslexia Revolution, hit screens earlier this month. The documentary saw the TV chef look into the challenges dyslexic children have to tackle at school and push for more support from the Government. Dyslexia is a common learning difficulty that causes problems with reading, writing and spelling and difficulties with processing. During the film, Holly features and opens up about her own battle with dyslexia. Reflecting on her time at school, the TV star spoke about her 'poor results' in tests despite 'working really, really hard'. She said: 'I definitely was terrible at spelling. I knew that because in spelling tests I would always get poor results' 'I always knew that when I got my homework back, there would be red pen all over it where there would be 'silly mistakes',' Holly added. The presenter revealed how it made her feel 'different' and explained: 'I felt like I was working really, really hard, with not getting much results. So I felt different.' She shared her take on the current school system and how it isn't suited for everyone. 'The school system is made for a certain type of learning and its so hard when you don't learn like that,' Holly said. 'When you then write yourself off at school as being non-academic that does shape your future somewhat,' she added. The TV presenter has previously said she was diagnosed with dyslexia 'quite late in life' and has praised her teachers with helping her overcome it at school. And during an episode of This Morning back in 2022, the star said she did not see the learning difficulty as a 'disability', adding: 'I think it makes me who I am.' While discussing dyslexia with British entrepreneur, Sir Richard Branson, 71, who is also dyslexic, Holly said: 'I don't see it as a disability at all, I see it as a real feather in my cap. 'I'm very proud of being dyslexic, I think it makes me who I am. I think half of the things I think that I'm actually quite good at in life are because I'm dyslexic.' Sir Richard responded: 'I was so hopeless at school work that I decided aged 15 to leave school and do the things that I was interested in, and once I started putting my dyslexic thinking brain to things that I was interested in I started to excel at them. 'I think I was quite creative and great at getting a good group of people around me and motivating them well… and what I've realised over the years is being a dyslexic thinker is something that we should all be blessed with.' He added: 'When parents are told that their child is dyslexic, they should rejoice and tell them that they will have a little bit of a difficult time at doing some of the fundamentals at school but they should be concentrating soon after that on the things that they are good at.' She also previously said she found her difficulties 'shameful' as a child during an episode of This Morning in 2021. 'For me, because I'm not very good at spelling, for years I felt shameful about that', the host reflected, before she revealed the turning point in her journey came when she went to college. She opened up about how she struggled with her experience during her younger years, revealing: 'Dyslexia is such a broad spectrum, people have so many different forms of it. 'Yes, I'm dyslexic also and I had to find my own tool kit and for me it was finding somebody who understood this who could teach me how to access those tools because at school it wasn't really that well known then. 'I wouldn't write down in front of people because I didn't want them to see, but it doesn't bother me now that I can't spell.'

Holly Willoughby looks in good spirits as she enjoys girls' night in with Nicole Appleton - after two of her shows are axed just months apart
Holly Willoughby looked in high spirits as she enjoyed a girls' night in with her friend Nicole Appleton on Friday. The TV presenter, 44, was all smiles despite recent reports that two of her shows have been axed just months apart. Brushing off the drama, Holly appeared upbeat as she took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her fun-filled evening. In the snap, the former This Morning star couldn't contain her giggles as Nicole, 50, and her other pal Shiarra Bell leaned in for a playful selfie. She captioned the post with a love heart emoji and tagged her pals. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. It was recently revealed that Holly's Netflix show, Celebrity Bear Hunt, was axed after just one series, amid claims that it was too expensive to produce. This blow came just months after her other mainstream programme, Dancing On Ice, was rested back in March, while she also decided to step down from presenting duties on You Bet! The 44-year-old is now at a crossroads in her career, with the star also without an ITV show to host for the first time in over two decades. Having been the darling of TV for several years, Holly is still in huge demand with a plethora of options open to her as she navigates this tricky stage in her career. According to The Sun, one option could be the reboot of the classic series Record Breakers, which her TV producer husband Dan Baldwin, 50, is currently working on. A source told the production that Holly would be the 'perfect fit' for the show, which at present is in its early stages and currently does not have a channel attached. They explained: 'Record Breakers is likely to be a prime-time hit and it would make perfect sense for Holly to take the reins. She has worked alongside Dan before and the pair know what it takes to make great telly.' Meanwhile, Holly has also been linked to the revival of Cilla Black's Blind Date, alongside the likes of Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall. Originally, rumours suggested the ITV hit would make a comeback on BBC but now sources claim the love-match show will reboot on Disney+. In March, Holly was tipped to become the next Cilla, with the presenter lining up a string of big-money deals worth up to £10million. The revival was previously being considered by Holly's husband Dan Baldwin, and the star had previously stepped into Cilla's shoes when she hosted a reboot of Surprise Surprise. An insider told The Sun at the time: 'There might not sound like obvious parallels between Holly and Cilla, but they're both two of the biggest stars of modern telly. 'Emulating Cilla isn't just about taking on her shows, it's as much about carving out a niche as a solo presenter with serious clout in the world of telly. 'But together with her husband Dan, they form the ultimate power couple in TV. She has the public appeal that gets viewers tuning in, while he has a track record of making hugely successful TV shows.' Elsewhere, it is said that the blonde beauty is also being eyed up for a new Channel 4 show, thought to be called Secret Singers, which hunts for raw and undiscovered singing talent. With it tipped to be a 'hugely popular' family show, the insider noted that showmakers are on the lookout for the 'perfect host', with Holly's current TV break being 'perfect timing'. According to The Sun, one option could be the reboot of the classic series Record Breakers, which her TV producer husband Dan Baldwin, 50, is currently working on (pictured on This Morning with Philip Schofield in 2019) MailOnline has contacted Holly's representatives for comment. Holly recently dashed ITV's hopes that she would be their Saturday night star by turning down a lucrative deal to front game show You Bet!. ITV sources told the Mail she was 'busy with other commitments' after Holly branched out to host Celebrity Bear Hunt in her first big role away from ITV. It is the first time that Holly has not had an ITV show on her schedule for the first time in more than two decades after becoming the broadcaster's TV darling. She has long been a familiar face on both ITV and ITV2, hosting shows including Surprise Surprise, Celebrity Juice, The Games, The Xtra Factor and I'm A Celebrity. Holly is arguably best known for having fronted This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield from 2009 until 2023, while she also helmed Dancing On Ice from 2006. However, ITV viewers now won't be able to get a dose of Holly as there has not yet been any public news of her having signed on to another project with the channel. In a huge blow to ITV, Holly then turned down a lucrative deal to front a new series of the classic game show You Bet! because of her other commitments. A source told the Mail: 'You Bet was so popular with the viewers wished it came back for two shows that ITV bosses decided to give it a full run. 'Holly and Stephen are a great double act and they were both brilliant so they were asked back. 'But Holly politely declined, she has other commitments and couldn't make it work. 'She is in demand and now she isn't shackled to This Morning four days a week, she is able to look at more options, some are global.'
