Holly Willoughby unrecognisable as she makes big change to her appearance

Daily Record5 hours ago

Holly looked really different in her latest post.
Holly Willoughby has shown off the new look she's sporting these days which is a far cry from her ITV looks. The ex This Morning presenter shared a post on Instagram wavy hairstyle and a pair of very bold glasses.
The 44-year-old posed up a storm in her car as she joked about being her children's 'personal party driver'. Holly captioned the snap: "Any other mums/dads of 16 year old, post GCSE children suddenly find themselves with a new role of personal party driver? Mums 'Mini' Cabs … and yes… I'm now a Glasses wearer… game changer."

Holly and her husband Dan Baldwin share three children, Harry, 16, daughter Belle, 12, and nine-year-old son Chester. Their eldest son Harry has just completed his GCSE's and it appears like Holly is being his personal chauffeur after completing his exams, writes The Mirror.

In the comments, Holly's fans gushed over her naturally wavy hair as one commented: "Gorgeous. You look so pretty and the glasses really suit you." Another echoed: "Wow!!! Holly you have never looked better."
This comes after it was revealed that Holly has been left without an upcoming TV show. The star has been a staple on our screens for years but it seems that she hasn't got any upcoming projects.
This is the first time that she hasn't had a programme lined-up in 21 years. This comes as her usual presenting gig on Dancing On Ice has come to an end as the show has been axed.
Holly's other job hosting Bear Hunt with Bear Grylls also won't be happening again as that's been axed as well. She has also chosen to step away from You Bet! which means Stephen Mulhern will be hosting the show alone.

It has been reported that Holly's husband Dan Baldwin is working on a reboot of Record Breakers which means Holly could be in with a chance of a presenting job. The Sun reported that a source said it would make "perfect sense" for Holly to be up for the role.
They said: "Record Breakers is likely to be a prime time hit and it would make perfect sense for Holly to take the reins. She has worked alongside Dan before and the pair know what it takes to make great telly."
Holly has also been in amongst a few names that could be hosting the reboot of Cilla Black's Blind Date. Other celebs that could be up include Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall. Another show Holly is being looked at for is a new Channel 4 programme where new undiscovered singers are found. Holly first returned back to TV last year after taking an 18 month break.

Corrie's Sue Cleaver shares if she will move to rival soap after ITV exit

Sue Cleaver has played Eileen Grimshaw in Coronation Street for 25 years but quit the role earlier this year. She has now revealed if she will ever appear on a rival soap Former Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver has revealed if she will ever appear on a rival soap following her final appearance as Eileen Grimshaw airing earlier this month. The 61-year-old actress announced her decision to bid farewell to Weatherfield at the start of this year, after an impressive 25 years on the ITV soap. At the time, she issued a heartfelt statement: "I've had 25 privileged years of working on Coronation Street," adding further, "The door is still firmly open but as I reached my 60th year, I decided it was time to embrace change, look for new adventures and live fearlessly." ‌ Sue hasn't been idle during her tenure on the Street – she took a hiatus to tread the boards as Mother Superior in Sister Act before gracing our screens as a panellist on ITV's Loose Women in 2024. ‌ She also enjoyed a stint on I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Back in 2022. But now she has the time to commit to other projects, will Sue be popping up on a rival soap like Coronation Street or EastEnders? It's not unheard of for actors to pop up in multiple soap universes, with the likes of Denise Welch and Michelle Collins appearing on both EastEnders and Coronation Street. Speaking in a new interview, Sue says she is "chuffed" with her Corrie legacy, and believes she was given "a wonderful send off" but admits she is ready to "live fearlessly." "I think people forget that you either have courage or you don't, courage is a muscle, start really small and put yourself out of your comfort zone for a couple of minutes a day, enquire about a book club or evening class, because that muscle really does," the actress muses. Sue continues to recall to The Sun how filming her final scenes "was really weird feeling, but it felt right" and it was "the right time" to go. She is now ready to take advantage of her new found "freedom" after spending over two decades at ITV. ‌ "I love doing Loose Women, there are other things I want to do and there is a lot more of the world I want to see," Sue admits. But when it comes to going over to the dark side and popping into The Queen Vic or the Woolpack, Sue is adamant that she is still loyal to Corrie. She rules out appearing on another soap "at this stage" as she is still "very committed to Corrie", adding: "I've been incredibly fortunate and it gave me the opportunity that not many actresses have, to be at home, to be there for my son in the morning and put him to bed at night and to have a proper home life, whereas normally you have to go where the work is. I've been extremely fortunate, it's not lost on me how lucky I've been, it has a big place in my heart." ‌ Speaking to the Mirror in May, Sue opened up on her decision to have co-star Ryan Thomas return for her final episodes, as his character Eileen's son Jason Grimshaw makes a huge offer. Sue shared: "Ryan was there from the start, and he was inconveniently living in Thailand, and it wouldn't be too far of a jump to expect that if Eileen was going to make a leap, that she would involve her son. "And so when I decided to leave, like over a year ago, I rang Ryan, and I said, 'Ryan, I'm going to tell them that I'm going, and if they ask me about exits, I'd really like to say that you'd come back and take me out, but I don't know whether they'd go for it or not'. "And he just went, 'Oh my gosh, of course, I would', which was so lovely for me. And it was just so nice to have him back and filming those final scenes with him. It just felt like I'd come full circle really."

Royal Ascot 2025 Day 5 tips and best bets as Topgear tipped to rev-up punters

Daily Record tipster Garry Owen has you covered for Royal Ascot Day 5 ROYAL ASCOT DAY FIVE TIPS 2:30 MOMENTS OF JOY 3:05 REBEL'S ROMANCE ‌ 3:40 TOPGEAR (NAP) ‌ 4:20 MARVELMAN 5:00 SYMBOL OF HONOUR 5:35 BEST SECRET 6:10 DALLAS STAR GARRY'S DOUBLE: TOPGEAR (NAP) AND MARVELMAN Topgear (3:40) will be revved-up for the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes on Day 5 of Royal Ascot. Christopher Head's charge showed potent speed when bagging a hat-trick over six furlongs at two. He held his form well over trips around a mile for the remainder of his career with Fabrice Chappett. The bay was also placed in good company over that distance on his first few starts for his new yard. He benefitted from a return to seven when cosily defeating Ten Bob Tony on a Longchamp Group 3. The six year-old hit new heights by routing Royal Scotsman in the Group 2 Challenge at Newmarket. He was even better when bolting-up from the talented Sajir on his return at Longchamp recently. The French raider looks ideally-suited to this testing six so he can power to his first Group 1 success. ‌ Moments of Joy (2:30) looks another smart juvenile for Aidan O'Brian in the Chesham Stakes. The filly wasn't overly well-fancied among a strong Ballydoyle squad on debut at Leopardstown. However, she showed a nice mix of class and guts to brush aside Little Sure Shot by a half-length. The youngster definitely has a bright future so she can deny some promising rivals upped in class. Rebel's Romance (3:05) can turn on the charm for Charlie Appleby in the Hardwicke Stakes. The seven-year-old excelled last season with a quartet of top-level victories across the globe. He warmed-up nicely for this term by comfortably defeating The Foxes in a Grade 3 at Doha. The gelding didn't enjoy the run of the race when fourth in the Sheema Classic at Meydan. He bounced back by outbattling Epic Poet over 1m 6f in the Yorkshire Cup on the Knavesmire. The Godolphin star won't mind returning to a stiff 1m 4f so he can land a slightly weaker race. Appleby can strike again with Symbol of Honour (5:00) in the Wokingham Stakes. ‌ The three-year-old wasn't disgraced in decent company over seven furlongs as a two-year-old. He benefitted from returning to six when edging-out West Acre in a valuable event at Meydan. The grey stayed upwardly mobile when decisively defeating Dark Saffron in a similar race there. He wasn't suited by a step-back up in trip when sixth to Cosmic Year in a Newmarket Listed event. The gelding hit back with a vengeance by hammering Ides Of March dropped in trip at Newbury. He then opened his Group 2 account by outpointing Arabian Dusk in the Sandy Lane at Haydock. The son of Havana Grey looks fairly-treated for his handicap debut so he can make his class tell. Marvelman (4:20) looks super-powered for Andrew Balding in the Jersey Stakes. The colt showed promise when second to Bob Mali in a strong six-furlong Salisbury novice. He improved again when chasing home Spirit Of Farhh over an extra half-furlong at Newbury. The three-year-old relished tackling seven when routing Shameful on his return at Kempton. He was then unlucky to encounter Cosmic Year in the Listed Charles II Stakes at Newmarket. That is high-class form so the Kingsclere contender can bag another hot renewal of this Group 3. ‌ Best Secret (5:35) can be a rare Gallic handicap winner here in the Golden Gates Stakes. Stephane Wattel's bay made steady progress in three outings in maiden company last term. The three-year-old stayed 1m 2f well when giving Parachutiste on his return at Saint-Cloud. He really excelled himself by hosing-up from Good Speed in a valuable Longchamp handicap. The gelding looks group-class so he can cash-in on a nice piece of placing under James Doyle. Dallas Star (6:10) can sparkle for Andrew Murray in the Queen Alexandra Stakes. The colt was outclassed when well-beaten behind City Of Troy in last season's Derby at Epsom. ‌ The bay returned with an easy win at Dundalk only to lose his way again over middle distances. He was revived by a step-up to 1m 6f when chasing home the mighty Kyprios at Leopardstown. The four-year-old then plugged-on well late to take third over two miles at Down Royal recently. Team Amo's hops looked ready to tackle this marathon distance so he can shade a trappy event. Mo of Cairo (4:10) can leave his rivals in the dust on Unite Summer Raceday at Ayr. Kevin Ryan's colt can score with a repeat of his fine debut second to Azizam at Hamilton. Classy Al (4:50) can cap a magnificent week for Jim Goldie in the John Gillespie Handicap. The four-time course winner remains well-treated after crushing Winged Messenger at Hamilton. The Uplawmoor Ace can stay on song with Woohoo (8:08) in the Eco Energy Handicap. The speedster was only denied a four-timer by the progressive Canon's House at Hamilton. That looks respectable form so the gelding can gain compensation in these calmer waters. Westerton (5:25) looks the best of Alan King's raiding party in the Johnstone Rose Bowl. The useful hurdler was a game third to Ecureuil Secret over an inadequate 1m 2f at Epsom. The five-year-old still lurks on an inviting mark so she can strike over this more suitable trip. First Instinct (5:55) can claim the trappy Land O'Burns Stakes for William Haggas. The filly ran another stormer when third to Symbol Of Honour in a Group 2 at Haydock. That was a warm event so the sprinter can resume winning ways down in trip and class. Mecca's Symphony (7.38) can call the tune for Michael Dods in the Bridgend Handicap. The three-year-old can build on her encouraging third behind Frankies Dream at Doncaster.

Coronation Street legend Sue Cleaver gives health update after quitting ITV soap – and reveals TV and Loose Women future

The actress revealed exactly when she made the decision to leave the soap - and it may surprise you CORONATION Street legend Sue Cleaver has given fans a fresh health update after quitting the ITV soap after 25 years. The actress, who played telly favourite Eileen Grimshaw since 2000, waved goodbye to the cobbles in an emotional exit episode earlier this month. 7 Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver has opened up about her health in a new interview Credit: Rex 7 The Loose Women star admitted she felt 'faint' at times while filming the show Credit: Shutterstock Editorial 7 Sue said she has taken control of her life again with the use of Dexcom Credit: Dexcom 7 Sue said she is chuffed with her Corrie legacy as the star exited the soap after 25 years Credit: Shutterstock Editorial Behind-the-scenes, Sue, 61, was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes over 20 years ago, and while she's known for her strength on screen, the star admitted at times she'd feel faint while filming. But the star has now revealed that the use of Dexcom, a continuous glucose monitor, has helped give her back control of her life. Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Sue said: "I think there is a lot of misunderstanding around diabetes, people tell you can't eat chocolate or sugar - but where I struggle with my diabetes is when I'm about to go on stage or when I'm about to go on Loose Women or live shows. "Before I go on I'd have to prick my finger and check if my sugar is stable enough to get me to the interval or do I need to eat." Sue admitted there has been times that she's felt "faint" on screen. "If I'm about to go on stage or live shows and I don't know if I'm going to make it if my sugars aren't stable enough, and I don't have time to prick my finger, you tend to think 'let me eat this thing now' and then you tend to feel the effects of it later or the middle of the show. "But with Dexcom, I just have to look at my phone and see my sugar levels, it takes all of the worry out of it." TV FUTURE After quitting the soap, Sue has now also revealed what her future TV career plans include and whether or not she'll join a rival soap. She told us: "I'm chuffed with my Coronation Street legacy, they gave me a wonderful send off and the ending that I asked for and I wanted Eileen's exit to mirror what I feel I'm doing and what I want other women to do - to live fearlessly, don't let fear hold you back, be who you want to be. "It's never too late to try something new, that's what I wanted for her, this realisation for her to go 'hang on a minute, I don't have to stay, I can do something completely different, all it takes is courage. Coronation Street's Eileen Grimshaw waves goodbye to the cobbles after 25 years "I think people forget that you either have courage or you don't, courage is a muscle, start really small and put yourself our of your comfort zone for a couple of minutes a day, enquire about book club or evening class, because that muscle really does." Sue said her final scenes "brought a tear to her eye" as she saw a row of taxis lined up down the street, with her character having worked at StreetCars taxi firm during her time on the soap. "There were moments when I had a little wave of emotion, we filmed the final scene on a Thursday and we went out for dinner and I came back on the Friday to do some other scenes and at the end of that it was really weird feeling, but it felt right." The TV star admitted she now has the "freedom" to explore other passion projects after spending over two decades at ITV. She said: "It was the right time for me to go, the door is still open, my hearts there, my husband still works there, I still see them all. "But for now, it's absolutely the right thing, it's time for me to have some freedom, to not be committed to things, to do passion projects, which is why I'm going back to the theatre. "I love doing Loose Women, there are other things I want to do and there is a lot more of the world I want to see." Although Sue has the freedom to join other soaps, she admitted her loyalties still lie with Corrie, saying: "I don't think so at this stage, I think I'm very committed to Corrie and Corrie has been very committed to me. "I've been incredibly fortunate and it gave me the opportunity that not many actresses have, to be at home, to be there for my son in the morning and put him to bed at night and to have a proper home life, whereas normally you have to go where the work is. "I've been extremely fortunate, it's not lost on me how lucky I've been, it has a big place in my heart." SUE'S DECISION TO LEAVE Soap fans were devastated after it was announced that matriarch Eileen was set to leave the soap, just months after Helen Worth, who played Gail Platt, also said farewell. She said: "Weirdly enough I remember quite a long time before it came out that Helen was going, she rang me and said 'I just wanted to ring and tell you I'm leaving', and I went 'Helen, I just want to tell you I'm leaving as well'." A number of stars on the soap have been axed over the last few years amid budget cuts. However, Sue, who starred on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2022, admitted she left the soap on her terms and had made the decision years ago. "I made the decision to leave when I went and did the jungle, I'd known for a while, it had been a while in the planning," she said. HEALTH UPDATE Sue has opened up about wearing the Dexcom ONE+, a continuous glucose monitor that helps track her glucose levels to manage her Type 2 diabetes. Sue said: "Dexcom has made a big difference in my life, having diabetes and having decision fatigue - it can be a mental marathon all the time. "Diabetes is lifelong and the management is lifelong and you do get tired thinking about what you can eat and what impact it's going to have. "What I love about Dexcom, it helps me see how my body is reacting to stress, food in real time. It stops me needing to guess but it tracks all the trends. Dexcom is a small, fast and easy to use, helping to simplify diabetes management for those with Type 2. Dexcom's new State of Type 2 Report - which looked at patients and doctors in the UK and other key European cities - discovered 72% of those living with Type 2 Diabetes believe that using a CGM device helps to improve their lives, a further 74% believe that it would also reduce the risk of complications. EXIT STORYLINE Sue said she told ITV bosses that she wanted her on-screen son Ryan Thomas to return as part of her exit storyline. She said: "I asked for Ryan to come back, I rang him even before I rang Corrie to let him know I was leaving. I told him not to say anything and asked him to come back and he went 'I'd have to for my mother'. They asked me what plan of exit I'd like and I said I want Eileen to go off to Thailand to start her new life and Ryan to come back and take me." The theatre star said she now has the freedom work on various other projects after dedicating over two decades to the soap. "I won't miss being tied to people, I'm really enjoying my freedom and getting up in the morning and going to the gym and deciding what to do with my day," she continued. "Everything I do now are passion projects like going back to the theatre. "I've got so much going on at the minute." Although Sue is no long on Corrie, she has her hands full with other TV jobs including being a panelist on Loose Women. But the star firmly hit back at rumours that the panel is feuding. Sue said: "I love it. I've known the girls for years, it's such a fun thing to do. It's that typical thing, Denise and I will disagree with something on the show, we're great mates, we've known each other for 26 years but then there are rumours that they've fallen out, we've not fallen out over anything. "People don't say that when you see Match of the Day, can we not please move on. "It is one big family and a huge amount of loyalty. We're very honest and brave and we put ourselves out there and in order to do that we have to feel very safe. "We don't wear our heart on our sleeve and talk about things like that when you don't feel safe. "There aren't clashes, we're making our programme and doing our job - it's just different opinions, we're not falling out with each other. I get on with everybody, I love them all. It's just really nice." Last month it was announced that Loose Women will air for only 30 weeks of the year from January. Speaking about her Loose Women future, Sue said: "Nobody knows what's happening in TV, I'm just getting on with what I'm doing in my life and I'm just enjoying it. "I've had a great time on it, I've had a great ride, I don't know what will happen in the future - I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow or the next hour." 7 Sue has hit back at rumours that the Loose Women panel is feuding Credit: Shutterstock Editorial 7 The actress revealed the moment she knew she wanted to leave the soap Credit: ITV
