The happy couple first crossed paths back in 2019 and made their relationship official two years later in 2021. Basking in their newlywed bliss, Strictly Come Dancing star Nick and Katie looked dapper as they joined race goers and celebrities like Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo at the jewel in the crown of the UK racing calendar. Katie donned a blue and white frock strikingly similar to her wedding dress, as she planted a smacker on her new husband at the star-studded event. She complemented her outfit with a chic navy hat and elevated her stature with strappy nude heels, all the while flashing a radiant smile for the camera. Accompanying her, Nick looked dapper in a black suit and light blue silk waistcoat, as the couple demonstrated they were still very much in their honeymoon phase. Nick and Katie certainly spared no expense for their special day, with reports suggesting the event cost into the six figures. Nick cut a dapper figure in a light pink tuxedo jacket, paired with black trousers and a matching black bow tie. He completed his look with a purple flower in his lapel. Meanwhile, Katie turned heads in a non-traditional wedding gown. Eschewing the typical all-white dress, she chose a white gown adorned with blue flowers. Her hair was elegantly styled in a bun and she opted for full glam bridal makeup. She accessorised her look with a sparkling statement necklace and a long veil. The couple's paths first crossed in 2019 when Katie's daughters became friends with Nick's youngest son Eddie, 9, at a play centre. Katie runs a lingerie and sex toy business and also owns another company, Boobbix, which sells 'lactation products for breastfeeding mums'. Nick proposed two years ago during a trip to New Orleans. Since then, Katie celebrated her final days of singlehood with a hen-do surrounded by her closest friends and family shortly before the big day. Katie, who juggles motherhood with two kids, has found herself justifying the substantial age difference between her and Nick. Yet, she's not the first younger lady linked to the celebrity. Back in 2019, Nick was spotted cosying up to 26 year old PR guru Emily Hallinan during a West End show date. The previous year, he dated marketing whizz Rebecca Kearns, who is said to be over three decades his junior. Post-breakup with Rebecca, Nick was snapped looking rather close with Emmerdale actress Gemma Oaten at the TV Choice Awards in September 2016. The snaps, however, spelled the end for the pair, with Gemma recounting the ordeal: "One Sunday morning we were lying in bed and all these texts came through about us being photographed together. In an instant he completely changed. It was all about him and how it was going to affect his family. It was really cruel as he said it didn't matter for me. I felt sick." She continued: "I said, 'Do you want to throw away what we have? We have done nothing wrong'. But he just dropped me like a ton of bricks. I thought it was a real relationship and he wasn't afraid to let others know."

Paisley company helps family as part of DIY SOS with Nick Knowles
Prestige Floors, which is situated on Causeyside Street, previously confirmed on social media that the business WAS helping with a project on DIY SOS. It is understood that the company were supporting the team on the show as they help out a family from Newton Mearns. The family at the heart of the project recently suffered a devastating personal loss, prompting the show's return to Scotland after several years. READ MORE: Calls made for safety cameras to be installed on Renfrewshire road Staff called the experience "humbling" and shared some behind-the-scenes snaps, including one with programme host Nick Knowles. A post on Prestige Floor's social media read: "Glad we could make a difference to this family's life along with hundreds of other companies in the Glasgow area this week. "It was a humbling experience and great to see so many people helping out a family in need. "It's not all about making money. Sometimes it's about trying to make a difference and we can relate to that when you feel the world is against you. "We regularly help with charities, local football teams and community groups as much as we can and it is always an honour. "We hope the family enjoy their renovated home and we wish you all the best for the future and look forward to this episode airing later on TV." The DIY SOS team, known for transforming homes and lives for the past 27 years, issued a public appeal earlier this year for tradespeople, volunteers, and suppliers across Glasgow and surrounding areas to help. The show is set to air later this year.

Greenock company answers appeal from DIY SOS and Nick Knowles
Clyde Tool Hire has stepped forward to support a Newton Mearns family featured in the upcoming episode of the BBC One show, donating tools and equipment essential for the ambitious home transformation. The family at the heart of the project has recently suffered a devastating personal loss, prompting the show's return to Scotland after several years. The DIY SOS team, known for transforming homes and lives for the past 27 years, issued a public appeal earlier this year for tradespeople, volunteers, and suppliers across Glasgow and surrounding areas to help. In a post on social media, Clyde Tool Hire shared their excitement at joining the effort: " Nick Knowles answer. "We are delighted to be playing a part in the current build in Newton Mearns, an extremely worthwhile and mammoth undertaking, helping an incredible family who have been through so much tragedy. "James popped in today to collect our donations of mitre saws and collated screwguns for the Big Build with the purple shirt crew, and we'll be heading along to the big reveal next Thursday to see everything they've managed to achieve for this truly deserving family. "We couldn't be happier that Clyde Tool Hire is getting to help and can't wait to see what the team have managed to achieve." READ MORE: BBC's DIY SOS calls on Glaswegians to help with a build The Glasgow Times reported in May that the DIY SOS team will be coming to Scotland and that they have asked for Glaswegian volunteers. The appeal read: "We need help from tradespeople, volunteers, and suppliers to transform the home of a local family whose physical and medical circumstances have left them in a house that's unsuitable for their complex needs. "Join Nick and the team and become a part of this unique building event. "We'll keep you going with three meals a day and as much tea as you can drink, and together we will deliver a life-changing build for a very deserving family while making one of the most loved shows on TV." The trade briefing for the project in East Renfrewshire took place on Wednesday, May 28, with the build dates set for June 11 to 18. The reveal date is scheduled for June 19.
