I dated Nick Knowles & know why this marriage won't last – he has ‘shiny penny' syndrome & always had a wandering eye

WHEN it comes to heartthrobs, Nick Knowles might not be the first name that springs to mind for many women.
He's openly admitted to being a workaholic, struggles with flat-pack furniture, and has even faced criticism for reportedly calling women in the North East "munters."

Yet, with a string of glamorous exes, four children with three different women, and now a wife 28 years his junior, the 62-year-old must be doing something right.
Last week, Nick tied the knot with his fiancée, Katie Dadzie, 34, a lingerie entrepreneur, in a stunning ceremony at the luxurious Braxted Park Estate in Essex.
The DIY SOS star and mum-of-two were all smiles as they posed outside the grand country house - rumoured to have cost six figures - with Katie turning heads in a striking blue and white gown.
But will it all be as perfect as it seems?
A source, who previously dated Nick, suggests Katie may need to be cautious.
'Obviously he's been married before, he's got kids, but he's never really settled down, has he?' she said.
'He's been with some beautiful and intelligent women – long-term partners like Suzi Perry – and had some stunning girlfriends, but he always manages to f*** it up because he goes for the next shiny object.'
Before his TV fame, Nick was married to Gillian, the mother of two of his children, Tuesday, 26, and Charlie, 27.
After their split, he dated beauty therapist Paula Beckett-Vass for two years, and they welcomed a son, Tyrian-J.

In 2000, Nick began a relationship with TV and radio presenter Suzi Perry, but the couple split three years later.
He then met his second wife, Jessica Moor, in 2009.
They married in September 2012 and welcomed a son, Edwin, two years later, but separated in January 2016.
Nick was also linked to Emmerdale actress Gemma Oaten after they were spotted looking cosy at the TV Choice Awards, with the pair later enjoying a romantic getaway to Edinburgh.
But is this marriage destined for a happy ending?
The source remains doubtful.
'I reckon she's probably given him an ultimatum like, 'Marry me.' He'll probably go along with it until the next shiny penny comes along in a year's time when he's bored of the sex – because, let's be honest, being in a relationship gets boring,' she said.
'I don't think marriage is going to be the thing that settles him down. It's just a piece of paper that he knows he can get out of.
'He's not the kind of person who wants longevity – he's got a wandering eye. He's very sexy, a red-blooded male, and he makes it very obvious.
'There's no denying that if he has eyes for you, he'll make sure you're aware of it.

'That's the impression I got with him… he'll do things like tell you what room number he's staying in without you even asking. He'll say it as a joke, but you know he's being serious.'
The pair "hooked up" because they were working on a TV production with him.
"We were all out for drinks and he was very flirty, making eye contact, very flirty and let me know which room he was staying in," she said.
She also explained that Television sets - especially on location - often involves a lot of the staff sleeping with each other.
"Sh***ing while on location is incredibly common," she explained.
"It happens all the time. The cameramen, sound recordists, even the talent, and contributors you make the shows with.
He is very charming and he is lovely to talk to. Although he's a bit cocky, he is a nice guy
"It happens all the time. And yes, married men, yes, single men, people that have got girlfriends.
"It is prolific - particularly because you're on location all the time. You're away from home. Staying in a hotel makes it so much easier."
The source warned Katie to be wary when Nick is away filming.
She said: 'Back in the day when I knew him, Nick was a champion of shaggers.
"I slept with him while out on location, and there's no way anyone could find out. He was single at the time.
'You might think you can call him at 9pm and check up on him, but someone could easily sneak into his room at 3am and leave by 6am.

'If he's going to do it, he's going to do it – and he'll always attract women because he's on telly.
"I was attracted to his swagger, confidence and he's a good looking bloke. Everybody fawned over him.
"Whilst I pretended I wasn't interested, of course I was flattered and I was young and thought lets go for it.
"If I went back now knowing what I know, I'd probably still do it because, you know, you're flattered and you're like, well, 'why not? I'm single, I can do what I want, can't I? '
"With Nick and I, it was a buildup of us working together over time with a lot of flirtation.
"He is very charming and he is lovely to talk to. Although he's a bit cocky, he is a nice guy.
'I think just needs to watch for the warning signs. From my experience, we didn't swap numbers, there was no texting – it all happened on location, leaving no trace.
'I've slept with him and got away scot-free.'
She continued: 'He's not someone who can truly settle down – I just don't think it's in his nature.
'I'd advise her to keep an eye on him. You can't stop someone from cheating, but remember – a leopard never changes its spots.
'She might have brought him down the aisle, but that doesn't mean he'll change.
'He's got something about him, and he bloody knows it. He's a peacock.'

‘Irreplaceable' bronze statues stolen during manor house festival

It was the first day of the summer jazz festival at Iford Manor. The sun beamed on the blooming gardens and the sound of a saxophone filled the air but the contentment was about to come to an abrupt end. On Friday morning, the owners of the country estate near Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, woke to discover that four bronze sculptures had been taken from the grade I listed gardens overnight. Among the missing pieces was a copy of Rome's Capitoline Wolf suckling Romulus and Remus, including its plinth, which had been in the gardens for 120 years, a pair of symmetrical bronze fawns inspired by those at the ancient Villa dei Papyri in Herculaneum, and a bust of Antinous. Marianne Cartwright-Hignett, 42, who runs the estate with her husband William, also 42, said: 'The policeman asked for a victim statement and I said, 'well, you know, it's not my statue'. And he said, 'oh, who owns it?' I said, 'no, no, no, this is everyone's loss'. This is a huge loss.' The garden, which has been open to the public since about 1910, receives about 20,000 visitors during the six months of the year it is open. Cartwright-Hignett said: 'It feels a million miles away from everywhere. When you go into the garden, you're not sure which country you're in, you're not sure which century you're in. There's a cloister at the back which has a line from a Tennyson poem. The inscribed line says 'a haunt of ancient peace'. 'It's a really tranquil, healing space … it feels like someone's just ripped the soul out of the garden.' After she posted the news on Instagram, the BBC gardening presenter Monty Don replied to say he was 'very sorry and angry'. Cartwright-Hignett, who lives on the estate with her husband and two sons, Horatio, six and Freddie, three, added: 'Gardeners' World have been here a couple of times in the past and Monty Don did a lovely episode of his series of Big Dreams, Small Spaces here.' Wiltshire police are investigating, and asking antique dealers and auction houses to be on alert for the stolen pieces. Cartwright-Hignett is particularly keen to see the Romulus and Remus statue returned. She said: 'That's kind of irreplaceable. The curator of the Capitoline at the time, in the late 1800s, let the estate owner take a direct copy from the original. We believe it's the last time a direct copy was allowed to be taken. Ironically, it was here for safe keeping in case the one in the Capitoline ever got lost or stolen.' She added: 'My dearest hope is that no one's stupid enough to melt it down. I just hate the thought of this being in someone's private garden where one person gets to see it.' In 2011 a Henry Moore sculpture worth £3 million was stolen from his foundation in Hertfordshire. It was later believed to have been melted down. Earlier this year a bronze statue worth £60,000 was stolen from the home of the artist Anne Curry in Essex. A 17th-century 'Shepherd Boy' statue was stolen from an outbuilding in Pickering, Yorkshire, last year — it still hasn't been found — and in March two men were sentenced for damaging and stealing a Paddington Bear statue in Newbury in Berkshire.

MCoBeauty founder Shelley Sullivan reveals the truth behind $1billion beauty brand deal - and how much she profited from the sale

Shelley Sullivan, the woman behind Australia's fastest-growing beauty label MCoBeauty, has spoken candidly about what it meant to sell her business earlier this year. The entrepreneur, whose budget-friendly beauty empire has become a cult favourite among Aussie celebrities, confirmed that while the business was valued at $1billion, the real takeaway for her and her team was far from what the public might assume. 'I wish,' she told Stellar Magazine on Sunday when asked whether she personally pocketed that amount. 'The business could be valued at $1 billion but that's not necessarily a reflection on what the people that are exiting get.' Shelley explained that MCoBeauty's lofty valuation was based on its performance and earning potential rather than a direct windfall for herself. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. She emphasised that factors like the brand's rapid growth, earnings trajectory and overall market trends contributed to the billion-dollar figure, not a simple sale price. Despite stepping back from day-to-day operations, the beauty boss hasn't completely walked away. She remains an avid supporter, watching from the sidelines with pride as the brand continues to thrive under new leadership. 'I'm still very much a fan of the brand,' she said. 'Running a business that grew so quickly was a lot… exhilarating and exciting, but at times exhausting.' Shelley admitted that she's now enjoying a well-earned break after years of hustle. The journey to the top wasn't without sacrifices - long hours, relentless pressure and the weight of expectations were all part of the grind. Driven by a clear goal to dominate the beauty market with affordable on-trend products, Shelley and her team worked tirelessly to turn MCoBeauty into the powerhouse it is today. The business' explosive growth made it a major player on supermarket shelves and in the competitive beauty landscape, rivalling premium brands at a fraction of the cost. She credits the brand's success to a razor-sharp focus on innovation and consumer demand, paired with savvy partnerships and bold marketing. But even with the monumental valuation and market domination, Shelley remains grounded and spends time focusing on family and slowing down than big-dollar headlines. Reflecting on her business journey, she concluded: 'We had a vision to create Australia's fastest-growing beauty brand. 'But I don't think myself, the family and the team ever thought beyond our wildest dreams that that's what we would create.'
