SHE waltzed off with the Strictly Glitterball trophy last year – but now Dianne Buswell is setting her sights on the even bigger prize and challenge of motherhood.
The Australian pro dancer, who met her partner Joe Sugg when he competed in the BBC One show in 2018, says she has recently become broody after spending time with their nieces and nephews.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun on Sunday, she said: 'I would like to have children, 100 per cent.
'Joe and I love kids, and that's definitely something that we would absolutely love. I haven't really thought about how many I would like. It will definitely happen.'
Dianne, 35, who won the contest last year partnering comedian Chris McCausland, says it was spending Christmas with family at the couple's home in Brighton that led to discussions about parenthood.
The pair are already auntie and uncle to their siblings' children.
Dianne has a brother, Andrew, who is also a dancer, and Joe's sister Zoella is a media personality.
Dianne said: 'Joe's got two nieces who I also class as my nieces, and then I have another two nieces and two nephews in Australia, and my oldest niece is 15.
'I am a big fan of my little nieces and nephews. I love kids, I love working with them and being around them. Sometimes, I'm a big kid at heart myself. I think it helps when you can get down to their level. I'm very lucky.'
'Life-changing'
But Dianne said one of her biggest challenges may just be finding the right time.
She and fellow Strictly pro Vito Coppola have just announced a 30-date tour, Red Hot And Ready, starting next month.
And she and Strictly winner Chris — the programme's first blind contestant — have just launched their own podcast, Winning Isn't Everything.

On the prospect of motherhood, Dianne said: 'It is quite tough because my job is quite demanding, and I love it so much.
'It is a tough one to balance out and think about. It would take a lot of thought, but eventually one day we will get there, but there is lots happening at the moment. It will happen when it's supposed to.'
Both she and YouTuber Joe, 33, have already had hugely successful careers.
Dianne toured with hit show Burn The Floor in 2011, and also appeared on So You Think You Can Dance Australia.
In 2015, she starred in Australia's version of Strictly and landed the role in the UK show in 2017.
As well as dancing, she and Joe are one of social media's highest- earning couples in the UK, with a reported combined fortune of £8.8million.
Dianne makes sure she stays in the best shape possible for the challenges that face her with a strict diet, exercise and recovery routine.
She learned a lot about her health from appearing in reality TV show Freeze The Fear With Wim Hof in April 2022.
It consisted of performing tasks in sub-zero temperatures, and Dianne said the experience with the Dutch motivational speaker and extreme athlete — also known as The Iceman — was life-changing, and she now uses the breathing methods that were shown to her to deal with anxiety.
She explained: 'I've delved into a lot of things to prolong my body. I don't want to use the word strict, because I don't have to do this, but I have things in place which are longevity for my body. For instance, I invested in an infrared sauna for myself.
'I've got an ice bath and a Pilates Reformer [exercise machine]. I have all these different things that I do, and I look after what I eat.'
'Achieved so much'
Dianne, who had the equipment installed in the £3.5million, five- bedroom home the couple bought in 2022, said: 'I'm really invested, and I know it sounds quite extreme, but at the same time my body is my tool.
'It's my work and it's what I use every single day, so I find it an investment for my future and my body.'
Dianne has a sauna and ice bath five days a week and said: 'I'll also stretch when I'm in the sauna, so my body is having a good stretch, too.

'I'm very into all that kind of stuff. I love wellness, and I love feeling good, and I love that my body still feels like it did when I was 28 — I genuinely do.
'Touch wood, it's continuing on that path, but I think that's just because I'm very conscious about what I put into my body, and what I'm doing for my recovery.
'That's just as important as keeping the muscles maintained, and knowing what your body works well with, because everybody is so different.'
The Glitterball is in my office so when I'm working it can remind me that hard work can pay off and I've already achieved so much
Dianne
Dianne, who has also been partnered with Max George, Tyler West and Bobby Brazier in Strictly, is hoping to return to the show again this year — an ambition that is already displayed on her office wall.
She said: 'I like to surround myself in my office with lots of things that inspire me.
'I have a vision board, and I have things that I aspire to do, but also things that I am really proud of.
'Real honour'
'You can be working on something, and sometimes things don't work out, and you can get into a bit of a rut.
'But if you look around and see all the things you've already achieved, it makes it so much better.
'The Glitterball is in my office so when I'm working it can remind me that hard work can pay off and I've already achieved so much. I'm so proud of it.'
Dianne adores her job so much that she still finds it 'exciting' to go to work every day.

She said: 'It doesn't feel like a hard slog. Yes, of course, when you're training you can become a bit tired because it is every day, especially if you make it all the way to the final. And obviously, last year Chris and I worked very hard to achieve what we did, but it was never a real drag.
'It was a real honour and a good experience.'
Strictly is also where she met her dance touring partner, Vito.
She said: 'We met on the show, but my mum's side of the family are Italian, and when I met Vito he felt like one of my cousins.
'That's the vibe Vito and I have, and I adore him. He's like either my crazy uncle or my crazy cousin. We've always got along, from day one.'
Dianne is grateful for all the show has done for her — including meeting Joe, the man who she hopes will one day become the father of her baby.
She said: 'It blows my mind. I'm just a girl from Bunbury in Western Australia who loved and had a massive passion for dance.
'Now it's brought me over to the UK on the biggest TV show that they have, so it's a real pinch-me moment.'

Premier League legend is 'latest star to join Strictly Come Dancing 2025'
Football fans could see a familiar face on the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor this year - as former Leeds player Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has reportedly been signed to compete on the BBC show With the 2025 season of Strictly Come Dancing just weeks away from launching, more stars are being linked to the show - with a premiere league icon the latest to be tipped to star. Former Leeds United star Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is said to be swapping soccer for sequins as a contestant on the long-running BBC show. The 53-year-old Dutch sportsman stands to be the latest in a long line of football legends to take to the Strictly dancefloor. He would follow the likes of Robbie Savage, Alex Scott and Tony Adams to bid for Glitterball Trophy victory. The former striker was hired as a coach for the England national team in 2023, but stepped away from responsibilities in August last year following manager Gareth Southgate's exit last August. With time on his hands, it is suggested Jimmy could be among the celebrities taking part in Strictly this year. A source told The Sun: 'Jimmy has a huge fanbase from his years playing in the Premier League and is a very likeable character. Show producers are always keen to book a retired footballer as it gets footie fans tuning into the series and becoming unlikely fans of the show. "Jimmy has a competitive edge and is going to get his head in the game.' The Mirror has contacted representatives of Jimmy and the BBC for comment. Olympian Sir Mo Farah, Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey - better known as Nitro - and former Big Brother contestant Yinrun Huang are among stars tipped to appear in the upcoming new season. Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke are all set to return for the 2025 season - which will be the 23rd in the long history of the show. But after the past two years, bosses are said to be worried about fresh scandal hitting the show. Stirctly has been dragged into disrepute in recent years amid accusations that professional dancers have been physically abusive to their celebrity dance partners. While the celebs have also been accused of offensive behaviour. Earlier this year, it was reported BBC bosses are practically paralyzed by a "terrible, terrible fear" that more scandal will hit the show - and there have been attempts to clean up the image of the series - and this could also impact star signings. It has been suggested the BBC are taking steps to go risk free and leaving no stone unturned to make sure the line-up is as safe as possible for the 2025 season. Blue Peter presenters Joel Mawhinney and Shini Muthukrishnan are said to be under consideration - as is Tom Parker Bowles, the son of Queen Camilla. Georgia Toffolo - the I'm a Celebrity Jungle Queen - is reportedly being lined up, as is Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts. Newly married former Love Island star Dani Dyer is being considered, it has been reported, with former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan another name high up on bosses' list. "There is a terrible, terrible fear among those high up that these awful things are going to keep happening and the show will be brought into disrepute again and again," one well-place BBC insider has told MailOnline. "With that in mind, they are taking no chances. "There will be stringent checks, and asking around, and digging into potential stars' backgrounds to make sure that they're not choosing anyone who might damage the show. For years, there was the whole Strictly 'curse' where the contestants and professionals kept having affairs. But that stopped. "Changes were made to the partnerships and it worked. There have been other issues in the past couple of years, though. What's been even more embarrassing for the BBC is that Wynne and Jamie have been from their own stable of stars. Going forward, those at the top want a wholesome image to shine through. No more scandal – just joy." The report came after 2024 contestant Jamie Borthwick, who is known for playing Jay Brown in the BBC soap EastEnders, was forced to issue a groveling apology after footage was reportedly uncovered showing him making derogatory comments about the people of Blackpool.
