WWE star Liv Morgan suffers shoulder injury that caused ‘Raw' match to get cut short
The plans for the WWE women's title scene may have to be changed.
Star Liv Morgan suffered what Michael Cole described as a dislocated shoulder during Monday's 'Raw,' which forced her match against Kairi Sane to be cut short.

PWInsider described the injury as '100%' legitimate and not a wrestling angle.
Morgan, one-half of the women's tag team champions, suffered the injury when she fell to the mat in the opening moments of the bout.
Her hands hit the mat while she fell face-first, and she immediately grimaced in pain.

The 31-year-old New Jersey native grabbed her right elbow and then rolled out of the ring.
Morgan hobbled for a few seconds before falling to her knees, clutching at that right shoulder.

She clearly seemed in pain while she shuffled along the floor on her knees.
The announcers eventually caught on that Morgan may have legitimately been hurt while Sane held her arms out in the ring, seemingly unsure what was happening.
'That an injury or something?' asked Corey Graves, who was filling in on color commentary for Pat McAfee.

'I think so,' Cole replied. 'Liv may have injured her shoulder.'

Sane remained in the ring with her hands up and played to the crowd, while the referee also stayed put.
The broadcast then cut to a highlight of the move that caused the injury before Cole mentioned a doctor had come to the floor to check on Morgan.
The match did not continue, with Sane being declared the victor.

A potential serious injury would be a tough blow for WWE since Morgan is one of the pillars of the women's division.

The company seemingly hinted at a feud between Morgan and the returning Nikki Bella on last week's 'Raw' with the all-women 'Evolution' pay-per-view coming in July, and any absence would affect the tag team championship picture since she shares the belts with Raquel Rodriguez.
Morgan has not yet commented on the situation on social media.

WWE Night Of Champions 2025 Full Card Updated After Smackdown Results
LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY - JUNE 13: Jacob Fatu looks on during SmackDown at Rupp Arena on June 13, 2025 ... More in Lexington, Kentucky. (Photo by Georgiana Dallas/WWE via Getty Images) WWE Night of Champions is set for June 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the card looks excellent on paper, though somehow, it doesn't seem to be completely filled. Back in the day, Night of Champions used to be the only show that featured title defenses from every current titleholder. It doesn't appear as though that tradition will continue for the 2025 version of the show. After an explosive episode of SmackDown on Friday that saw John Cena masterfully recreate CM Punk's famous Pipe Bomb promo, there are five official matches on the card. Here's a look at them: Orton and Asuka punched their tickets to the King and Queen of the Ring finals at Night of Champions with wins over Sami Zayn and Alexa Bliss, respectively. We'll find out if Orton will be facing Rhodes or Uso, and if Asuka will draw Roxanne Perez or Jade Cargill in the final. LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY - JUNE 13: Randy Orton celebrates his win during SmackDown at Rupp Arena on June ... More 13, 2025 in Lexington, Kentucky. (Photo by Georgiana Dallas/WWE via Getty Images) The hope is that things won't be predictable. However, you'd expect Rhodes to beat Uso and for Cargill to knock off Perez. I'd predict Orton and Cargill to be the King and Queen of the Ring, with a title shot coming for both at SummerSlam. The Jacob Fatu vs. Solo Sikoa title match was made on SmackDown. No one expects Fatu to drop the belt yet. He's arguably the fastest-rising star in the promotion. I'd expect Sikoa to continue to put his cousin over and for the two to have an entertaining match. Dirty Dom vs. Styles should be a classic match. Dom has improved so much as a performer across the board. Hopefully, he can inspire a spectacular performance from Styles. The veteran has looked a step slow of late. After all, he has been in more than his share of grueling and body-taxing matches during his career. Still, Styles is the quintessential pro, and having a dance partner like Mysterio should pull the best out of him. The following titles aren't scheduled to be defended—at least not yet: Lynch is in a feud with Bayley, and former Women's IC Champion Lyra Valkyria is still in the peripheral. Vega wants respect, but she hasn't been thrust into a compelling feud. The Street Profits could draw the Wyatt Sicks, and the New Day could have an opponent as well. We'll see if there is another title match—or two—added to Night of Champions. The show takes place on June 28.

Tom Brady ‘spits' on Jets jersey, rips up Eli Manning one in Fanatics Fest WWE heel entrance
Tom Brady just embraced his inner villain. The legendary quarterback had the chance Friday to do a WWE entrance at Fanatics Fest at the Javits Center — and he decided to go full-blown heel. With WWE star Cody Rhodes' entrance music blaring, Brady began his entry by spitting on (or at least appearing to), discarding and stomping on a Sauce Gardner Jets jersey. Jimmy Traina/X Advertisement He then received an Eli Manning Giants jersey and tore it clean in half, which prompted Manning to show up out of nowhere and jump on his back, piggyback-riding him all the way back up the entrance ramp and making a humorous exit. For an event taking place in New York City, Brady certainly had some fun with the local football teams. 5 Tom Brady rips an Eli Manning jersey in half at Fanatics Fest NYC. Aurora / Brian Prahl / Advertisement 5 Eli Manning humorously attacked Tom Brady after the latter's heel-style WWE entrance. X/WWE While Jets fans were reminded of their disdain for the former division rival after Brady showed up in their city and discarded a Gardner jersey, Manning and the Giants fans can likely laugh the moment off, knowing that Manning is responsible for two of Brady's three Super Bowl losses. The moment playfully reignited the NFL rivalry that saw the two legendary Super Bowl matchups, where Manning famously took down Brady both times — including once to halt Brady's Patriots from completing a perfect 19-0 season. Advertisement Widely considered as the greatest quarterback of all time, Brady went 7-3 in Super Bowls. Manning also made a WWE entrance of his own at Fanatics Fest, electing to walk out to Roman Reigns' signature — but he elected not to destroy any jerseys as Brady did. Brady's former teammate, Rob Gronkowski, has made an actual WWE appearance in the past, and with how Brady's villainous entrance looked, perhaps it could be his turn next.
