Sandeep Reddy Vanga accuses Deepika Padukone of "dirty PR games", breach of trust
Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga stirred speculation on social media with a fiery post that many believe targets an unnamed actress who was earlier part of his upcoming film, Spirit.
Many believe Vanga was referring to Deepika Padukone, who reportedly stepped away from the project recently.
In a post shared on his official X handle, Vanga voiced frustration over a broken "unsaid NDA" and alleged betrayal of trust, and wrote, "When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100 per cent faith. There is an unsaid NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, you've 'DISCLOSED' the person that you are..."

While the director did not confirm the identity of the actress in question, his reference to a female lead exiting Spirit, and being replaced by a "younger actor," aligns with recent reports involving Padukone, who was initially cast opposite Prabhas in the film.
In March 2025, rumours surfaced online alleging that the plot of Spirit had been leaked, with some claiming similarities to the Tamil cop actioner Theri.
However, the source of the leak remains unverified, and no direct evidence has been presented linking Padukone or any other actor to the incident.
Shortly after Padukone's departure, the filmmakers confirmed that Triptii Dimri, who previously appeared in Vanga's blockbuster Animal, will play the female lead in Spirit.
Vanga shared the update on Instagram and wrote, "The female lead for my film is now official :-)"
The announcement was met with enthusiasm from fans, with many praising Dimri's previous performance and expressing excitement about her collaboration with Vanga once again.
Spirit, directed by Vanga and produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, is one of the most anticipated upcoming films starring Prabhas in the lead role.
The film has attracted significant attention due to its high-profile cast and the director's last blockbuster, Animal.

Actress Kriti Sanon is a '90s baby' for life as she was seen grooving to some of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's iconic tracks such as 'Janam Samjha Karo' and 'Pyar Dilon Ka Mela Hai.' Kriti took to Instagram, where she shared a video of herself getting all dolled up in her vanity van. While getting her make-up done the actress was seen mouthing the lines of the 1999 banger track 'Janam samjha karo' picturised on Salman and Urmila Matondkar. Kriti was heard saying: 'I love this song' as the 1999 song played in the backdrop. She added: 'What music yaar!' The song then changes to 'Pyar Dilon Ka Mela Hai' from the 2000 film 'Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge' starring Salman and Karisma Kapoor. Kriti says 'All songs are amazing' as she discussed the film with her make-up artist. For the caption, the actress wrote: '90's Baby for Life!! Part 1.' On the work front, the actress is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film 'Tere Ishk Mein' with Dhanush. 'Tere Ishk Mein' is said to be a spiritual successor to the world of 'Raanjhanaa,' as it delves deeper into themes of unrequited love, longing, and emotional conflict. It was in January, when Kriti was confirmed to star opposite Tamil star Dhanush in 'Tere Ishk Mein.' The film reunites the 'Raanjhanaa' team as Aanand L Rai, Dhanush, and the Oscar-winning music composer, A.R. Rahman, are joining forces after their last venture, 'Atrangi Re.' Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow present 'Tere Ishk Mein,' produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The film, directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma, is an A.R. Rahman musical with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. The film is scheduled to release worldwide in Hindi and Tamil on November 28, 2025. Talking about Kriti, she was last seen in the film 'Do Patti,' a drama thriller directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi. It also stars Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh. The film tells the tale of twin sisters. Their carefully constructed lives are shattered when a police inspector uncovers a web of deceit that threatens them. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan and Kriti came together for a fun social media post recently. The two actors shared a video on Instagram, where Varun was seen holding a glass of chocolate shake in his hand, while Kriti was having something much less appetizing - a matcha drink. As Varun offered Kriti a sip from his chocolate shake, the dive ended up finishing almost half of his drink in one go. This left Varun extremely sad. The text on the video said, 'What she means when she says one sip.' 'Matcha is Chocolate is everything! Who can relate to that?', the caption read. As soon as the clip surfaced on social media it went viral. The netizens also flooded the comment section with some interesting remarks. Varun and Kriti are expected to be next seen sharing screen space in 'Bhediya 2'. The project will mark their third professional association after 'Bhediya' and 'Diwale.' Indo-Asian News Service

Salman Khan took inspiration from from ex-Indian president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam for 'Tere Naam'
More than two decades, Tere Naam remains one of Salman Khan's most memorable films — not just for its emotional story but also for his iconic hairstyle. Khan has revealed an interesting tidbit about his look for the romantic drama. In the first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show (Season 3), the 59-year-old actor shared his hairstyle was inspired by the former President of India, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. He also mentioned that the actor Rahul Roy had a similar hairstyle before, but for Tere Naam, he imagined a small-town character who would have long hair. "... All the old-school heroes had it too - that's (also) where the inspiration came from." Directed by the late Satish Kaushik, Tere Naam was released in 2003 and starred Salman as Radhe and Bhumika Chawla as Nirjala. It was a remake of the 1999 Tamil film Sethu, starring actor Vikram. Though the film received mixed reviews, it was remembered for Khan's intense performance. The film also marked Bhumika Chawla's Bollywood debut. During the show, Khan also opened up about a recent incident in which a woman managed to sneak into his Mumbai home. The topic came up when Sharma jokingly asked him about fans showing up at his residence with suitcases. "...There were security guards outside. A woman told them she wanted to head up to the fourth floor, and she entered. She rang the doorbell, and our maid opened the door," the actor said. "The maid was shocked because the lady said, 'Salman called me over.' Obviously, the servant saw her and was sure I definitely didn't call her. She was a fan, so she was escorted out."
