Sonakshi Sinha's brother, Kush Sinha breaks silence on not attending Sonakshi-Zarheer's wedding, 'There has been a misunderstanding...'
In the glitzy and glamorous world of showbiz, every step and every move of celebrities is scrutinised. Whether it is their red carpet appearance, post-gym paparazzi, or their wedding, they are also under the radar of the public eye. One such similar tale happened when actress Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot last year on June 23rd. But besides the clips of their intimate wedding going viral, people were also quick to notice the guest list of the wedding. Among the whispers, many people claimed that Sonakshi Sinha's brother, Kush Sinha, did not attend the wedding because he was allegedly unhappy with her decision. Rumours of her father, Shatrughan Sinha, not attending also circulated. However, not only did he attend the wedding, but he also blessed the couple. But now, after almost a year of their marriage, when Kush Sinha is all geared up for his directorial debut with the upcoming film Nikita Roy, which stars his sister Sonakshi in the lead role, he has finally addressed the issue and set the record straight. In an interview, Kush has revealed that this was a misunderstanding and expressed his love for Sonakshi. 'There has been a misunderstanding since last year. She is my sister. I was fully present at her wedding. I don't know who spread the rumour that I was not there.' Kush further spoke about the love and affection he has for Sonakshi 'I love my sister very much! All I can say is that all this was misinformation. She has always been very nice. Lootera was her second or third film, but Sonakshi did a great job in it. Vikramaditya Motwane had a big contribution to it. But there is something special in Sonakshi.' He further clarified why he chose Sonakshi for the lead role 'That's why I wanted to work with her in Nikita Roy. An actress who is willing to put in those feelings, who is willing to look gritty. In my mind, there were very few actresses who could do it.' Nikita Roy also features Paresh Rawal and Arjun Rampal. It is all set to hit the theatres on June 27.
