'I love my sister very much! All I can say is that all this was misinformation. She has always been very nice. Lootera was her second or third film, but Sonakshi did a great job in it. Vikramaditya Motwane had a big contribution to it. But there is something special in Sonakshi.'
He further clarified why he chose Sonakshi for the lead role
'That's why I wanted to work with her in Nikita Roy. An actress who is willing to put in those feelings, who is willing to look gritty. In my mind, there were very few actresses who could do it.'
Nikita Roy also features Paresh Rawal and Arjun Rampal. It is all set to hit the theatres on June 27.

The experience left such a strong impression that Sonakshi even spoke out loud to the mysterious entity the next night, hoping to ward off any future visits. 'When I came home the next night, it was late again. I peeked in first, then said very loudly: 'Jo bhi aaya tha kal raat ko, phirse aise mat karo. Main bohot darr gayi thi.
