Harvest Water pipeline project causes road closures in Elk Grove, alternate routes provided
(FOX40.COM) — A section of Elk Grove roads will be closed through late June as the construction for the Harvest Water pipeline project continues, according to Elk Grove City officials.

The closure begins on Monday at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Willard Parkway.
The city provided detour routes for commuters, as they reminded the community that detour signs would be posted.
Those traveling:
On southbound on Franklin Boulevard to Willard Parkway, should instead commute on Blossom Ridge Drive to Willard Parkway.
On southbound Franklin Boulevard, should continue down Franklin Boulevard to Blossom Ridge Drive, then Williard Parkway to Bilby Road.
On northbound Franklin Boulevard, south of Whitelock/Willard Parkway should detour using Bilby Road to Willard Parkway.

Weekend: Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-90s each afternoon this weekend. Isolated showers and storms are possible Saturday afternoon.
