The outcome will complete the line-up of Carlisle's opponents in the 2025/26 season.
And there are familiar faces on both sides as the respective clubs bid to escape the fifth tier.
For Oldham, striker Joe Garner is making a second Wembley appearance in the space of three years.
The veteran frontman was in the United XI that started 2023's League Two play-off final victory over Stockport County.
Now he is set for a key role in the National League final, having played a significant part in Oldham's run to Wembley.
Garner, who had four spells with Carlisle, has scored in both the Latics' play-off games to this point.

He netted in their 4-0 eliminator victory over FC Halifax Town.
And then the 37-year-old scored to set Micky Mellon's side on their way to a 3-0 win at York City in the play-off semi-final.
Garner's four league goals this season have all come at the business end as Oldham eye a return to the EFL after a three-year absence.
The frontman left Carlisle to join the Boundary Park club in January 2024, at the end of his fourth United spell.
In total since 2006, Garner scored 33 goals for the Blues in 120 appearances.
Standing in his and Oldham's way is a Southend side that includes former Blues midfielder Jack Bridge.

The 29-year-old has already had a significant impact on the Shrimpers' play-off run so far.
He came off the bench to scored their extra-time equaliser at Forest Green Rovers that forced a 2-2 draw and a penalty shoot-out.
And Bridge was among the players to convert from the spot as Kevin Maher's side progressed to the final.
Bridge had also started Southend's 4-3 eliminator win over Rochdale to boost the club's bid to return to the EFL after four years in the fifth tier.
The midfielder was on Carlisle's books from 2019-2020, making 35 appearances and scoring three goals.
Oldham are 6/4 favourites to win the final with Southend 15/8.
Kick-off is 3pm.

Controversial plan to build 'incongruous' houses in Lakeland village refused
A CONTENTIOUS proposal to build three houses in a Lake District Village has been refused. Permission has been denied by the Lake District National Park Authority to build three one-bedroomed two-storey houses in Eskdale Green. Outline approval in principle for the scheme was granted in 2020 on appeal, but the Development Control Committee has rejected an application to approve the plan for the development, due to it's 'incongruous' design, mass and volume. The site in question is an undeveloped piece of land to the rear of properties along Randlehow and Smithy Brow Lane, on the eastern fringe of the village. The decision report states: 'The dwellings would be built into the topography of the site, which rises steeply to the north, resulting in the development appearing as single storey from the north, but two storeys from the public right of way to the south. 'Despite the use of roughcast render and a slate roof, the proposals would be of a non-traditional character and appearance with large, full height glazed openings, integral garages, modern doors and a balcony across the entire south elevation, facing towards the public right of way. The proposed street scene facing south (Image: Anything Drawn Architectural Ltd) 'The proposals would therefore fail to contribute to local distinctiveness and due to their massing and scale would appear as an incongruous form of development, detracting from the character and appearance of the area. 'This harm to the visual amenity of the surrounding area would be experienced in close range views from the adjacent public right of way.' The report addresses public concerns that the size of the houses would facilitate conversion into more than one bedroom. READ MORE: Plans submitted for new holiday park with 100 caravans READ MORE: Lake District holiday park argues no planning breach after allegation made It states that each plot would be serviced by two parking spaces, and that three-bedroomed dwellings would be acceptable in principle, and would meet local housing needs. The report also stated that the development as proposed could 'not realistically be implemented' without obstructing a public right of way, and would therefore be unacceptable in this regard. The report concluded: 'The proposed development, by reason of its design, volume and massing would fail to achieve design excellence or reinforce the importance of local distinctiveness. 'Furthermore, the proposals would obstruct a public right of way, harming the amenity of users of the public footpath.'

Diamondbacks to Sign McCann after Moreno Hits IL
Diamondbacks to Sign McCann after Moreno Hits IL originally appeared on Athlon Sports. James McCann wasn't getting a shot to make the Atlanta Braves' roster. So the longtime MLB catcher was granted his release in order to sign a big-league deal with the Arizona Diamondbacks, according to a report from Ken Rosenthal. Advertisement McCann, who has played 11 seasons in the bigs, will join the Diamondbacks after Arizona put starting catcher Gabriel Moreno on the injuried list because of a finger fracture. Moreno is expected to miss a few weeks. In comes McCann. He will likely share plate duties with Arizona's usual No. 2 catcher, Jose Herrera. The former offers more with the bat, though. McCann, 35, was slashing .297/.333/.493 with six home runs in 41 games with Triple-A Gwinnett. He was blocked from the majors by former All-Star Sean Murphy and potential Rookie of the Year Drake Baldwin. Over his 919 games in the majors, McCann is a career .241 hitter with 92 home runs. He last played in the MLB in 2024, logging 233 plate appearances with the Baltimore Orioles. From 2015 to 2021, McCann was the primary catcher for the Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox and New York Mets. With the Mets, he ceded the No. 1 role to Francisco Alvarez, who the Mets demoted to Triple-A on Sunday. Advertisement Herrera carries an OPS of .562 over his 31 games with the Diamondbacks this year, his fourth with the club, all as a reserve. Arizona heads into Monday at 39-38, eight games behind National League West-leading Los Angeles and 3 1/2 games behind the Milwaukee Brewers for the final NL Wild Card spot. Heartbreak for Tommy Fleetwood After Travelers Championship Disaster on 72nd Hole
Heartbreak for Tommy Fleetwood After Travelers Championship Disaster on 72nd Hole originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Winning on the PGA Tour isn't easy. Ask Tommy Fleetwood. The 34 year-old Englishman has one of the most relaxed swings on tour, with his unique shortened follow through that looks so good it's a wonder he could ever hit a bad shot. Though Fleetwood has eight wins internationally, he has yet to win on U.S. soil on the PGA Tour. Not that he hasn't come close. Fleetwood has 41 top-ten finishes on the PGA Tour — the most top-ten finishes without a win from any player over the last 40 years. Advertisement For Fleetwood, it isn't a matter of if, but when his breakthrough moment will happen. Tommy Fleetwood on the 15th hole at the Travelers ChampionshipBill Streicher-Imagn Images That moment looked like it would happen today, but a dramatic 72nd final hole would end Fleetwood's bid for his first win. Fleetwood held a sizable lead going into Sunday, leading the field by three strokes. It was only the second time in his career he'd held the 54-hole lead/co-lead. But, that lead quickly faded at the start of the final round as Fleetwood got off to a rocky start, bogeying three of the first four holes, including two three-putts. Fleetwood also struggled off the tee early in the final found, only hitting two fairways in the first six holes. Advertisement By the ninth hole his lead had vanished after Keegan Bradley made a monster 64-foot birdie putt on the 9th hole to tie Fleetwood for the lead. Fleetwood eventually settled in and hit his stride, making a birdie at the par 3 11th hole to take a two-shot lead over Bradley. Fleetwood's lead was cut in half with a bogey on the 16th hole. He would then find the bunker off the tee on the 17th hole and deliver a clutch shot to hole-high, draining a five-footer center cup for par to carry the one stroke lead into the final hole. But it wasn't meant to be. A late club change on the 18th hole from Fleetwood left him short and left of the green, 50 feet from the hole, opening the door for Keegan Bradley who stepped through in dramatic fashion, throwing a dart from the fairway to five feet. Fleetwood would leave his lag putt outside Bradley's ball, leaving him to putt first and show Keegan the line. Fleetwood missed his putt and Bradley, having learned the break from him, made the putt on top, winning the Travelers Championship outright, snatching victory from Fleetwood. Advertisement Tommy Fleetwood would finish tied for second place with Russell Henley and extend his record to 42 top ten PGA Tour finishes without a win.
