Darren Till reveals Jake Paul fight date as ex-UFC star lays out boxing hit-list

The former UFC star scored a big win over Darren Stewart earlier this month and the Liverpudlian is now planning on staying busy inside the ring
Darren Till wants at least two more fights this year and is eyeing up a blockbuster showdown with Jake Paul in 2026. The ex-UFC welterweight title challenger has been a breath of fresh air since joining Misfits boxing. Till scored a brutal knockout victory over Anthony Taylor in January on his debut before outpointing Darren Stewart earlier this month.
With the Liverpudlian naturally on cloud nine following the win over Stewart, Till is now plotting his next moves and has his eyes on a couple of big names. The 32-year-old aims to take on either Mike Perry or Jorge Masvidal in his beloved city of Liverpool, followed by a contest with Julio Chavez Jr later in the year.

Till is keen to settle his rivalry with Masvidal after their 2019 UFC encounter ended with 'Gamebred' delivering a knockout blow in London. Speaking about his ambitions for the remainder of 2025, Till told Plejmo: "Let's bring Misfits now to Liverpool. We haven't brought it to Liverpool. Let's do a main event. Let's do a pay-per-view with a massive star from either America or England, preferably America.

"A Mike Perry or a Jorge Masvidal, get that done. Get the win in the bag again, have a little bit of time off, and then look towards a f****** barnstormer at the end of the year, if it could be Chavez Jr."
Chavez Jr is set to enter the ring with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul next month. Should the Mexican come away from the bout unscathed, a potential fight with Till be on the cards. The pair were due to fight last year, but the bout was scrapped after Paul's showdown with Mike Tyson was postponed.
Till has expressed his eagerness for a major clash with Paul next year, outlining a potential path: "Yes, I'd definitely fight Chavez Jr. Let's say we then do a co-promotion, me and Misfits against Chavez, and then obviously set it up for Jake Paul, let's say the first quarter of next year," he said.
"That's the perfect road. So let's say, fight at the end of the summer against Jorge Masvidal or Mike Perry. And then we set that up [against Chavez] at the end of the year. Then that's me on their [MVP] promotion next year in late March against Jake Paul, then there's maybe one or two fights there with Tommy or Logan Paul."
After enduring several severe injuries over the last few years, the former UFC star is keen to make up for lost time and is aiming to stay active in the ring. "I would like to fight two more times [this year]. I've had two fights, two more times, so that's four fights. So obviously, that's one at the end of the summer now and then one in the winter," said Till. "To be totally honest with you, I'm saying four times, but if I can make it five times this year, if there's a pull out on a big show. I'll step in because I'm going to stay active."
With a clash against Paul potentially on the cards in the future, Till anticipates he would pocket over $5million. In an exclusive interview with All Out Fighting, when asked whether a fight with the 'Problem Child' would appeal to him, the Brit replied: "Well, that's an interesting question… who wouldn't want a fight with Jake? "Of course I would welcome a fight with Jake. We're talking five million plus."
On the topic of a potential Paul vs Till showdown, Misfits supremo Mams Taylor told All Out Fighting: "I do think there's going to be a lot of conversations about Darren Till as a potential Jake Paul opponent… not that Jake Paul has expressed interest, but if everything goes to Darren's plan this year, it's going to be hard not to have that conversation for fans. They've already brought it up. Darren is really naturally similar to Jake's weight. They're about the same weight class. I'd say off-season/ on-season, when they're fighting in-between camps, I think they've got a lot of similarities."

"The guy seemed to fall to the floor, and his mates came to pick him up and get him away," they reported to The Sun. "There [didn't appear to be any] consequences for Conor." Another recounted: "About five people fell to the floor as the guy stumbled back. It was a bit like bowling pins, but the guy was really shaken." They continued: "About a minute later, the bouncers came and got him on the back and took him out of the club. ‌ "It was right before close anyway," they added. "There was no messing around; they just removed him. Conor left through the garden a bit later; he didn't look very happy." Since then, McGregor has shared that he was in Ibiza after treating his football teammates to a trip to the Spanish resort. The UFC star has been playing in an over 35's league with his local pub team and celebrated their recent league victory.
