Gwyneth Paltrow Recalls Vagina Candle Release, Shocked
Back in 2020, Gwyneth Paltrow memorably sold a candle called 'This Smells Like My Vagina' for $75 via her website Goop.
The scent — which was a blend of "geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed" — was described as 'funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected.'
Fast forward to today, Gwyneth has defended the candle once more, claiming again that she seemingly had no clue that it would actually get made once she joked about the vagina-esque scent.
During an appearance at the 2025 Mindvalley Manifesting Summit this weekend, Gwyneth recalled, 'That product is so fascinating because we were messing around with different scents one day. And I smelled something and I was like, 'Oh, that smells like … you know.'
'I was joking. And then [Douglas] was like, 'Oh we should make that a candle and put it on the site,'' she said, referring to Douglas Little, who works on all Goop fragrances.
'All of a sudden, it was literally on the website. And then we broke the Internet again. And then it took us a long time to live that one down,' she said.
Reacting to Gwyneth's comments, several internet users couldn't help but question her story. ''I just make jokes and then my team goes rogue without thinking of potential PR issues, and I have no say in what is produced, labelled or goes on the website for my own brand.' Sure, Jan,' one Reddit user said.

Bad Bunny Says It Is Silly To Complain About His Job
It's fair to say that Bad Bunny is one of the hardest-working music artists in the game right now. Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio went from the barrio to the Billboard charts, becoming one of the first Latin artists to sell out stadiums around the world, even breaking the record for most tickets ever sold in Spain (he's set to perform 12 shows there on his upcoming tour). In a June 18 interview with Variety, the Puerto Rican superstar spoke to his work ethic as a music artist and celebrity. When his comments went viral, the fans were eating it up just as much as his boricua beats. In the interview, discussing his upcoming residency and tour surrounding his sixth studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, Benito got real about what's expected of him as he embarks on one of the biggest tours of his career. "At times, I do think, cabrón, what I'm signing up for is a lot," he said. For context, Benito is set to perform a 30-night residency at the Colseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, not too far from where he grew up from July 11 to Sept. 14, and then he's going on a 56-date world stadium tour from November 2025 to July 2026. Basically, he's booked and busy. "But the way I see it, I'm not a doctor; I'm not a teacher; I'm not someone who has to wake up every morning at 5 a.m. to lay down concrete on a busy road to survive," Benito continued. "My job is to fucking sing, and even though it comes with its own set of sacrifices, it feels silly to complain about it." When Benito's comments on the pressure of fame started to make their rounds on the internet, like in this Reddit thread, a lot of people had something to say about it, many praising the three-time Grammy winner for his honesty. Here are some of my favorite comments. "He's a man who got famous as an adult and has managed to become the hometown hero of Puerto Rico, which he obviously put in the work to deserve. It's not necessarily easy to handle, but you can compare that to what a lot of women and people who start as child stars go through. Good for him that he feels this way about it, but I'm not shocked that it's not a common perspective. If he can avoid the toxicity of overwhelming greed and not chase being a billionaire or whatever, he might actually stay happy," a Reddit user shared. Another Reddit user said, "Finally someone with some common sense. I'm so tired of celebs complaining how hard their job is, having never worked a real job in their lives. Like, sure, the pressure must be a lot and paparazzi and public scrutiny, but that's nothing compared to some annoying boomer manager breathing down your neck 24/7 or a customer having a screaming meltdown over a difference of 28 cents or cleaning up vomit, etc." "I appreciate the humility but the more artists downplay the work they put in the more the public does as well. EVERY job has pros and cons so please remember that. He is lucky to have the job he has but it's not like many of them don't work hard for it. 💙" X user wrote. This Reddit user wrote, "He has the right attitude and a healthy perspective." "Good way of putting it, everything is relative and even with fame and money and privilege you can still stress and be sad and be overwhelmed at times, but still understand and be grateful for what you have," another X user wrote. "I truly wish more celebrities and influencers had enough self-awareness to realize that publicly whining about their privileged lives doesn't hit the way they think it does," another Reddit user added. Finally, this Reddit user said, "It doesn't even sound like he's saying that as a performer you can't have bad days or struggle in/with your career, it more so sounds like he simply thinks it's in poor taste to publicly lament about how hard you have it since it's a highly privileged profession." What do you think about Bad Bunny's take on the pressures of being a famous singer? Let's talk about it in the comments.

This Cemetery Groundskeeper Did An AMA That Went Viral
Do you love all things weird, dark, and creepy? Subscribe to the That Got Dark newsletter to get your weekly dopamine fix of the macabre! It's a scary good time you won't want to miss. Recently, Reddit user odd_fisch, a cemetery groundskeeper, did a very interesting AMA on r/CemeteryPorn (they also shared the really pretty photo below!). And, unsurprisingly, a lot of people had a lot of questions. Here are the best and top-voted questions and then the answers from odd_fisch: "What percentage of graves get visited?" —finalgirl08 "Do you have many regulars who visit a lot? To visit particular graves, or to take in the whole place, typically?" —turtle2turtle3turtle "How common is it for people to piss and shit on the graves of people they hated in life?" —Famous_Suspect6330 "Can share any particular incident or burial which made you laugh?" —OGadminOP "I volunteer in a previously abandoned cemetery. We have lots of cave-ins where caskets collapsed over time in the wooded sections. Do you experience this at yours? How do you handle it if so?" —isuzupup__ "When a headstone is broken or pushed over, who typically deals with that? Would it be you if you just happened upon it or would the family of the deceased have to ask for it to be fixed? I pick up headstones if I find them toppled or kicked over, and I always wondered who is supposed to do that since some of the ones I've picked up were seemingly like that for years, and no one picked them up. But I know I saw the groundskeepers. So I wasn't sure if it was a 'can't touch it till a report is made' type of situation or not." —Individual_Ad_6777 "Have you ever had any issues with visitors (living or ghosts, LOL)?" —DistinctBell3032 "How many high school metal bands have you caught trying to film music videos?" — GivemTheDDD "Any problems or accidents with the people having 'séances?'" —HanhnaH "I was in a graveyard with my daughter yesterday. We met an older gentleman who was mowing a section of the lawn/graves. He saw us walking and pointed to the stone a little ways away and said, 'That one's mine.' Being certain he wasn't a ghost, how often do families preplace a stone and do maintenance? I'm guessing his family of yesteryear is buried there. It was a tiny cemetery, under 20 rows." —fugensnot "Is your job well compensated?" —alwayssearching2012 "Have you ever seen a ghost in your cemetery before? I think that is the question that everybody wants to know the most." — International-Sea561 "Do you ever feel afraid, especially at night, or are you pretty comfortable being there?" —Wintermoon54 "Have you ever seen anyone ever accidentally fall into a grave?" —No_University6980 "What's the oldest grave there?" —Bleacherblonde "For those old sites, since no one is around anymore to help maintain them, do you guys get together and help those out a little more?" —Oy_theBrave "Do you have a list of your favorite headstones? What is it about them that makes them you're favorite?" —crapatthethriftstore "Have you ever been involved in an exhumation?" —genzgingee "Do you assist with burials (like, set up those things that lower the casket)? What are the requirements to become a cemetery groundskeeper?" —CHAIFE671 "I also work at a cemetery, primarily in the office, but I also help the grounds crew from time to time. What's the dumbest complaint you've heard about the way you keep your cemetery? For us, I'd probably say the lady who complained that our trees weren't trimmed pointy enough." —starwishes20 "Why do I see really old headstones with 'perpetual care' on them, yet they're cracked, toppled over, or broken? Doesn't perpetual care mean they paid so that if it ever broke, no matter how far into the future, it would be fixed? What happens when those old mausoleums start crumbling? Does anyone fix it, or will it just continue to fall apart? What if the mausoleum gets so bad that the coffin is exposed?" —Inevitable-Plenty203 "What do you do during a typical day?" —ImDeepState Finally, "What's your favorite part about the job?" —Queenielauren You can read the original AMA on Reddit.
