Arnold Schwarzenegger wants family movie with Patrick Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt

Arnold Schwarzenegger is keen to make a movie with Patrick Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt.
The 77-year-old actor is open to the idea of a collaboration with his 31-year-old son and son-in-law - who married his daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019 - but insisted they wouldn't do so for the sake of it as the script would have to be good enough.
He told E! News of the possibility: "It's one of those things that if there's a great script, then of course, we would do it.
"But you can't just make up this stuff. You can't just say, 'OK, let's just put the three together in a movie and not have a great script.' "
The Fubar star called on filmmakers to make the project happen.
He said: "You don't have to talk about it, just do it."
Arnold - who, as well as Katherine, 35, and Patrick, 31, also has Christina, 33, and Christopher, 27, with ex-wife Maria Shriver and Joseph Baena, 27, with Mildren Baena - is also open to the idea of following in his son's footsteps and starring in The White Lotus.
Asked if he'd be interested in a role in the anthology series, he said: "Whenever I see something good, I am interested in it, so we will see."
The former Governor of California is delighted to witness Patrick's success because his son has always been interested in acting.
He said: "Patrick always had a love for show business. He has spent a lot of time on the set with me when he was a kid. He was doing his homework in my movie trailer, he was watching me shooting on stage. I think he got the desire right then and there."
Meanwhile, the veteran action star is excited about the new season of Fubar, even if he finds certain physical scenes "very, very tough" these days.
He teased: "The second season is a lot, a lot of great, great action, and also really funny moments.
"The actual sequences are very, very tough to do, especially when you do night shoots and all that. But it's a lot of fun."
While Arnold is proud of Patrick, he recently admitted he was shocked when his son stripped naked in The White Lotus.
During a joint interview for Variety's 'Actors on Actors' series, he told his son: "I couldn't believe [it].
"I said to myself, 'I'm watching your show, and I'm watching your butt sticking out there.' And all of a sudden, I see the weenie.
"What is going on here? This is crazy.
"Then I said to myself, 'Well, Arnold, hello. You did the same thing in Conan and Terminator, so don't complain about it.'
"But it was a shock to me that you were following my footsteps so closely."

Sam Rockwell initially considered teleprompter for White Lotus monologue

Earlier this year, the actor went viral after making a surprise appearance in the latest season of The White Lotus, delivering a wild monologue that stole the show. In a new interview with GQ, Rockwell admitted that he had been worried about memorising the lengthy and emotional monologue. "Well, I joked with (creator) Mike White and the producers that I might possibly need an earwig, a teleprompter kind of thing, because I was fearful that I wouldn't know the lines.' However, the actor then revealed that his partner, Leslie Bibb…

Rebel Wilson wants her Pitch Perfect character to get married in new movie

Rebel Wilson is hoping her Pitch Perfect character Fat Amy will get married in the next movie. The actress played Amy in the original film and two sequels and she's hoping a fourth movie will begin filming next year and she's revealed her big hope for the project is for her character to find love and walk down the aisle. When asked about what's next for Fat Amy, Rebel told Variety: "I think there should be a wedding." Rebel also suggested that one of the castmembers could move into the director's chair for the fourth film. She explained: "There's a lot of us who are directors now. "There are many candidates – Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Kay Cannon, who is the original writer and Elizabeth Banks, so we'll see. I'm about to direct another movie, so that keeps me busy until early next year. Hopefully, it'll [Pitch Perfect 4] go into production next year.' Rebel opened up about her hopes for the new film while she was promoting her latest project Bride Hard, which reteamed her with her Pitch Perfect co-star Anna Camp - and Rebel admitted their real life friendship helped them onscreen. She said: "We play a slightly different dynamic in this movie. In Pitch Perfect, she's very uptight, and I'm more the –what we call in comedy– the wavy line. "In this one [Bride Hard], because I'm an operative, I'm more the straight line, and she's the wavy line, playing kind of a ditzy bride. It's good to switch of our dynamics. "You can tell in the movie that we're such good friends. There's just good camaraderie. We shot this during the writer's strike, so some of the scenes weren't quite written. But because we were besties, we could play that and improvise that quite well." Rebel previously admitted she went into "beast mode" in preparation for Bride Hard by embarking on an intense fitness plan. She told People: "I often put my body on the line for physical comedy." The actress pushed herself to her physical limits in preparation for the new movie. However, Rebel actually enjoyed the challenge of getting herself in tip-top shape for Bride Hard. She said: "I was pretty strong during this movie. I trained for a full five weeks and did conditioning for it, and then I had to be really kind of in beast mode, but I really enjoyed it, getting paid to almost be fit, which is really good." Rebel uses curling irons like nunchucks in the new movie, and she admitted taking inspiration from movie icon Jackie Chan. She told the publication: "When I lived in South Africa, basically to pass the time I would watch Jackie Chan videos and his comic timing, and I just loved all the movies. Even if they weren't subtitled and I couldn't even understand the dialogue, I just loved all his comedy-action scenes. "They were so good. So I guess that's why I originally picked up nunchucks, to try to be a bit like Jackie Chan."

New Balance's ABZORB 2000 is Already a Sold Out Success, But It's Just Warming Up

Charlotte Lee is a veteran designer behind some of New Balance's best sneakers, and it's looking like she's onto another sold-out success with the ABZORB 2000 (AUD$260). Her greatest hits include the WRPD Runner, 530, 1000, and viral 1906L sneaker loafer, but she spent three times longer designing the ABZORB 2000 than a typical New Balance lifestyle sneaker. With a sold-out first release on 12th of June 2025, it's looking like it was time well spent. This new futuristic model takes off from where the James Lee and Yue Wu designed New Balance 9060 left off. That 'retrofuturism' 9060 sneaker appeared out of thin air and emerged as a successful model for the brand, and while it's hard to dismiss how much it has done for changing the narrative around chunky dad shoes, the ABZORB 2000 walks a different path with a hoast of futuristic touches. It looks to channel a little too much Nike Air Max Scorpion at first glance, but this is all New Balance. Lee turned to abandoned NB technology known as ABZORB SBS for inspiration, but it's not the only piece of technology. She also leaned on the virutal reality tool 'Gravity Sketch' to look at the model in 3D and bring intricate details to areas of the shoe, best seen in the screen-printed upper that serves a function by reducing the amount of TPU waste that would traditionally go into a design like this. Let's take a closer look! New Balance ABZORB 2000 | Image: Supplied / New Balance The launch colour—Still Water with Blue Agate—is a highlight, but as Riley Jones from WWD rightly pointed out, it looks like it's out of a video game. 'We wanted something that felt futuristic and progressive but still rooted in our DNA,' said Paul Kaseumsouk, general manager of lifestyle inline and speed at New Balance, in an interview with Footwear News. 'It's about evolving the brand's aesthetic without losing what makes it distinct. You can still find subtle nods to our heritage in the detailing and craftsmanship, but the overall design was meant to break the mold and signal a bold step forward.' Interestingly, this is the first 2000s-inspired silhouette for Lee. 'I was like, 'Is this really the right shoe for me to be doing?' And actually everyone got to saying, 'Yeah, because you're taking a new spin on it, keep on going,'' she said in an interview with WWD. 'Then at the end, I kind of stood back and was like, 'Wow. Yeah, OK.'' No big names, stars, celebrities, influencers. It was simply shared in a post by Brazilian stylist Gustavo Soares to his 10,000 followers before it was picked up by sneaker publishers and later in Milan Design Week in partnership with retailer Slam Jam. The next move, however, will be bigger. Chicago's Joe Freshgoods is cooking up an all-over pink pair, and while details are scarce, expect to see more of these during the upcoming Paris Fashion Week from Tuesday June 24th to Sunday June 29th 2025. Stay tuned for more collaborations of the New Balance A and GR colourways to roll-out as the ABZORB 2000 hits retailers and online stores around the world in the coming months.
