Player Summary
If you want an offensive tackle on your team who will be an enforcer for your entire offense, Aamil Wagner is your guy. If he had skates on, he would be on a Stanley Cup-winning hockey team playing a pivotal role in how they intimidate teams. Instead, he is just playing at Notre Dame and taking out edge rushers who try to get around him. He is constantly taking them out of plays completely, or is simply anchoring well enough to the point they give up on the rep. He needs to get more agile when kicking out, but the raw power and physical traits are there for teams to work with and develop further.

File Photo by Archie Carpenter/UPI | License Photo MIAMI, June 20 (UPI) -- Stanley Cup star Sam Bennett, who is set to hit free agency, hinted at plans to return to the Florida Panthers during title celebrations, but his agent told UPI on Friday no contract is signed amid ongoing negotiations. Bennett hinted at a potential return while celebrating with his teammates and the Stanley Cup on Thursday night at E11even, a club in downtown Miami. The veteran forward, who led the NHL with 15 postseason goals, took a microphone and told the crowd "I ain't [expletive] leaving," borrowing a quote from the Wolf of Wall Street. Fans screamed in excitement in response to the message, as Queen's "We Are The Champions" blared from the speakers. "It was an incredible and emotional night for the Panthers and well-deserved," Bennett's agent, Darren Ferris, told UPI. "The celebrations have been amazing to see, and Sam's just taking it all in with his teammates right now. "At this time, no contract has been signed -- when there's something official, we'll share it accordingly." Bennett's comments came just two days after Panthers general manager Bill Zito said "I think we can bring them all back," when asked on TSN about retaining some of their key players set to hit free agency. Bennett, who turned 29 years old Friday, is to be one of the top free agents on the market. The No. 4 overall pick by the Calgary Flames in the 2014 NHL Draft joined the Panthers in a 2021 trade. He appeared in the Stanley Cup Final with the Panthers each of the last three postseasons, including their back-to-back title runs. Bennett totaled a career-high 51 points -- from 25 goals and 26 assists -- over 76 appearances during the 2024-25 regular season. The Conn Smythe Trophy winner eclipsed 40 points in each of his four full seasons with the Panthers, after failing to reach that mark in any season with the Flames.

The 29-year-old center just put together an incredible post-season for the Panthers, as he scored 15 goals and recorded 22 points in 23 games and won the Conn Smythe Trophy. Thus, if he were to hit the market on July 1, he would have a ton of suitors. However, Bennett has now made a giant statement about his Panthers future that makes it seem that he will not become a free agent. Naturally, the fans erupted into cheers in response to Bennett's announcement before Queen's classic "We Are the Champions" played in the background. While the Panthers have not announced a new deal for Bennett yet, it certainly seems that No. 9 will be staying in Florida. In 289 games over five seasons with the Panthers, Bennett has recorded 95 goals, 196 points, 616 hits, and a plus-46 rating. Bengals' 2011 redraft has them shockingly ignoring A.J. Green Flashback to 2011. The NFL was in the midst of a player lockout as the league and the NFL Players Association were moving towards a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. Even with the ongoing talks, the league went ahead and held the NFL Draft. The Cincinnati Bengals entered the draft with the No. 4 overall pick following a 4-12 season in 2010. One of the big debates entering the draft was at the wide receiver position. Who would go first between Georgia's A.J. Green and Alabama's Julio Jones? The Bengals would select Green who went on to have a great career with the Bengals. But what if the Bengals had gone the other way? In this redraft, the Bengals do, in fact, go in the other direction and take Jones, who originally went No. 6 overall after a big trade involving the Atlanta Falcons. "There was a big debate heading into the 2011 NFL Draft over whether A.J. Green or Julio Jones was the top wide receiver prospect. The Bengals ultimately picked Green, who went on to have an excellent career in Cincinnati. However, Jones ended up being the better player. "The two-time first-team All-Pro recorded a career 94.7 PFF overall grade and was the second-most-valuable receiver across his 13 seasons, according to PFF WAR." Green wasn't too far off, recording a 92.2 career grade. In this redraft, Green went with the very next pick, No. 5 overall to the Arizona Cardinals, rather than their original pick of LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson.
