Poppy 22, broke up with her boyfriend just this week following the news she would be making a shock entrance into the villa.
The Islander, from Staffordshire, flew out to Mallorca last night and is expected to be poolside this weekend.
A source said: 'Poppy is super flirtatious on a night out and I could see her fitting in well with this year's cast.
'She is a fan of the show."
They continued: "Her split came with her ex came out of the blue - her boyfriend wasn't expecting it at all.
"She's a smart girl and is likely heading into the villa with a gameplan."
Poppy boasts over 8,000 followers on Instagram, giving her fans a glimpse into her luxurious lifestyle.
She can be seen skiing with influencer pal, Maddie Eastham, showing off her designer purchases and sunning herself in Cannes.
Another shows her with a personalised-plate £50,000 Range Rover Evoque.
She often posts glamorous photos on nights out and on holiday in a bikini.

VILLA AT WAR
It's been chaos in the villa the last 24 hours as Helena stormed off from the group after a savage Love Island game saw Harry finally admitting to snogging Yasmin.
Yasmin initiated the smooch after Harry admitted he enjoyed their kiss in a villa challenge.
She told him bluntly: "I'm waiting for you to shut up and kiss me."
Harry duly obliged and went all in. He grabbed Yasmin by the throat and bit her lip as they gave in to desire.
Yasmin was just as handsy, leaving her mark on Harry by scratching his neck.
But despite their snog, neither Harry nor Yasmin admitted to it when they returned from the Hideaway.
That was until their actions were exposed in a brutal firepit game on Thursday night.
Helena was left in shock as Yasmin revealed they'd kissed not once, but three times.
And while Harry smirked, the stunning air hostess was backed by co-star Megan.
'You're a liar,' Megan shouted across the firepit to Harry, adding: 'You owe it to Helena to be f****** honest, you p****.
'She's sat there watching you go into the Hideaway, you kissed her three times and then come out and go 'Oh no, I didn't do anything.''
Meg finished by telling Harry: 'Grow a pair of b******* mate, honestly, grow the f*** up.'
After her sweary rant at the scandalous star, Helena got up and stormed off from the group as Remell said: 'I think we should wrap it up here.'
While Helena could be seen storming off as Harry showed no sign of remorse.
There were more fireworks earlier in the game when it was revealed Yasmin said she'd like Harry to "tip her upside down".
Elsewhere, Conor read out a comment from Dejon that ruffled Meg's feathers.
Dejon previously told the boys about Yasmin: "She's never orgasmed, so if I give her her first orgasm, then she'll fall in love."
After Conor read out the comment, Yasmin said to the group: "I mean, if you can make me orgasm, fair play. I probably will fall in love."
Things go from bad to worse when Remell read out a remark that Harry made to the boys about wanting to kiss Yasmin.
Helena yelled: "What the f*** is going on here?"
Megan exclaimed: "He tells you f*** all and that's why, you need to find out and hear it for yourself."

It's the first time Stevie, 40, who formed chart toppers Saint Phnx with brother Alan, 37, in 2016, has been on the other side of the mic but says he is suited and booted and raring to go. The dad-of-two, from Wishaw, North Lanarkshire, said: 'I'm buzzing about Monday night and have had my velvet jacket, shiny shoes and dickie bow looked out for weeks. 'My brother has been ribbing me about it and keeps saying things like 'Here comes big red carpet Steve.' He thinks he is hilarious but just wait until it's his turn to be interviewed! 'It's the first time I have ever done anything like this but I would love to work in radio so this will be good practice as I will have to think on my feet. 'You would think I would be nervous but I'm not. For the past year Alan and I have been doing workshops in schools and trying to sing on a Monday morning in a gold gym hall in front o0 kids pretty much prepares you for anything.' We launched our search for our local heroes of 2025 back in January and were inundated with thousands of nominations from across the nation. She said most of the first batches of these treats almost sold out within minutes of release, a claim which left some fans and critics puzzled. Social media users went online to suggest the former actress was "playing the 'sold out' game", an approach they say salespeople use to encourage customers to swiftly part with cash. However, Prince Harry's wife did enjoy success with the first release of products under the brand - with the likes of a jam, honey, herbal teas and flower sprinkles all snaffled within hours. Suggesting this was the case again, Meghan says in an Instagram video she wishes she had "so much more inventory". She adds: "We are nearly sold out on everything, and I can't believe it... Thanks everybody." In the clip, the mum of two explains how the flower sprinkles have again proved to be the most popular item - just as they were in April. Most items on As Ever's website have "sold out" beside them, including the flower sprinkles and apricot spread. WTF. And it sold out after 20 mins. Meghan must think people are really stupid." Among further harsh digs, another critic added: "Wow they have super small quantities. The apricot and tea already sold out." But in full, Meghan says: "We spent so much time making sure we had so much more inventory. That's why we took the time and you guys are doing it again. We are nearly sold out on everything. And I can't believe it - even flower sprinkles which I knew would be the big one again. So that has more inventory than all of it and that is also about to sell out." While the apricot spread and honey went on sale on Friday, the Napa Valley rosé wine will be available from July 1. The rosé is Meghan's first foray into the wine market - with the product sourced from the famous region of California , up the west coast from her Montecito mansion.
