As the Love Island girls constantly call Yasmin out, why don't they hold the men accountable instead?
Yep, it's happened. Once again on Love Island the girls are insisting on treating the new bombshell badly, rather than holding the men in the Villa accountable, as the girls continue to call out bombshell Yasmin over her flirty behaviour with Harry. And honestly, it's getting really sad to see. ICYMI, earlier tonight [19 June] saw Yasmin and Harry share a secret kiss in the Hideaway. The pair are both coupled up with other people. Harry with Helena, and Yasmin with Shea. But they had both said to their other halves they were open to getting to know other people, which both Helena and Shea agreed to as well. Following their time in the Hideaway a lot of the afternoon was spent with the other Islanders questioning if the pair had kissed, which they denied. However, during the evening's game, where the Islander's quotes were said out-loud to the rest of the group, Harry eventually confessed to kissing Yasmin in the Hideaway. While a lot of the Islanders were furious with Harry, Yasmin didn't get away unscathed. Earlier in the episode Helena had called Yasmin "boring" after she had a conversation with Harry, and later on both she and Meg declared Yasmin "wasn't a threat" after she spoke to the boys they were coupled up with. It's a sad, but familiar pattern that has happened each year on Love Island, and already occured once this season when Malisha entered the Villa. Rather than getting to know new girl Malisha, Meg was hostile towards the bombshell, while she was getting to know Dejon, who Meg was coupled up with. But at no point was her anger or frustration focussed on Dejon. No, instead Malisha and Meg ended up screaming at each other across the Villa. And again in tonight's episode, there was a lot of tension in the air directed at Yasmin, with the other girls talking about her behind her back while getting ready for the evening. Yes, it's an emotional situation and it's clear people are invested in their romantic situations, despite claiming they're "open". And there times when Yasmin could consider the other girls' feelings, such as when she added that she and Harry had kissed "three times" in the Hideaway, not just once. However, that doesn't mean the girls should be slagging each other off, when in reality Yasmin and Malisha are doing what they're meant to do as bombshells. It's week two and they've come in and made it their mission to speak the boys, who BTW are beyond receptive to it and are in fact lapping it up. However, rather than address the men they are in couples with, the existing girls are placing the blame on the new women. It's a tired old narrative that feeds into the idea of women as temptresses and man-stealers. In reality maybe they should be holding the men accountable, who are often the ones pursuing the new girls, making the moves and kissing them first. Let's not forget Harry has tried to get to know Sophie, Shakira, Helena and Yasmin within the space of 10 days. And yet Yasmin is the problem? Yeah something's not adding up. As Yasmin pointed out during tonight's fire pit, "How am I chasing him when he's saying it about me?" after the girls called her out for responding to a flirty comment Harry made to her. Fans have also been feeling similarly online, with many labelling the girls' behaviour towards Yasmin as unfair and questioning why they aren't holding the men to account. One person wrote on X: "Girls having a go at Yasmin ! She's not the problem." While another said: "And yet they tried to make it seem like Yas was the problem. It's Harry. Hold these fugly men accountable." Another added: "The girls keep coming for Yasmin instead of THE MAN WHO IS THE PROBLEM??? #LoveIslandUK #LoveIsland." And another made the point: "Meg and the other girls are being so awful to Yasmin it's actually becoming hard to watch." And they're right - it is really hard to watch. Over the years Love Island has produced some great examples of female friendship (Kaz and Liberty, Harriett and Grace, Maura and Molly-Mae) with the connections often lasting far longer than the romantic ones. Yes, it's Love Island, not Friend Island as everyone likes to point out, but why can't the women support and show up for each other, rather than slag each other off in the hopes of impressing the men? Right now, we'll just take what we can get and be grateful for Toni having Yasmin's back. Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX

Love Island fans hail latest episode 'best ever' as villa erupts into mayhem
Love Island fans were treated to a night of non-stop drama and arguments in tonight's episode, with some hailing the episode one of the best in the ITV2 show's history Tensions are rising in the Love Island villa as tonight saw fights, drama and admissions. The fallout from the eBay party continued tonight - with the latest challenge causing some of the most dramatic scenes in Love Island history, according to fans. It came just after Harry and Yasmin headed for a kiss in the hideaway, leaving Helena and many of the other Islander's fuming. Although they all tried to sneak a peek, they were left unaware that the couple had shared three kisses, until all was revealed in the epic game, Look Who's Talking. In the explosive game, the Islanders each took a card, with a quote written on it. They then collectively decided which of their fellow Islanders said it - which of course, caused a whole load of drama. It was in the game where it was revealed Harry and Yasmin shared not one, not two, but three kisses in the Hideaway, leaving Helena fuming. The moment came after Remell read out the card: "Do you think I should kiss her? Is that what you're saying? Kiss Yas, because I will," as the Islanders guessed it was Harry's words. Once he was exposed, Harry who is currently coupled up with Helena revealed that the words came out his mouth last night after the two shared a kiss in the challenge. He finally admitted the pair had shared a kiss in the Hideaway "twice." However, Yasmin left the villa stunned when she corrected him by saying: "It was three times actually." Helena's friend Megan was left fuming at Harry for lying as she exclaimed: "You owe it to Helena to be f*****g honest, you p***k!" It wasn't the only time Harry was in hot water during the game, as a number of his flirtatious comments to Yas were exposed, causing huge arguments around the fire pit. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter after the drama, one viewer penned: "nah this is the best love island season we've had in YEARS i'm enjoying this so bad #LoveIsland." A second agreed: "That might be one of the best episodes of Love Island ever. Like it deserves to be in the hall of fame #LoveIsland." Meanwhile, a third echoed: "I think this is the best episode ever!" The drama comes after last night's dumping with saw Malisha brutally dumped from the villa. It came after new bombshell Harrison chose to bring Toni back from the villa after dating both her and Malisha.

Love Island chaos as Islander's awkward nip slip stuns villa
The Love Island cast were left in hysterics after Islander Toni suffered an awkward nip slip while attempting to perform a cartwheel in front of the rest of the villa The drama in the Love Island villa is heating up, and in today's episode - Harry and Yasmine took their flirtations one step further. However, Islander Toni happened to lighten the mood with her awkward wardrobe malfunction. It came just before Harry and Yasmine headed for a kiss in the hideaway, leaving Helena and many of the other Islander's fuming. Meanwhile, Toni stayed away from the drama, innocently performing a cartwheel for the rest of the Islanders. As she performed the cartwheel in her swim suit, Toni suffered an awkward nip-slip, leaving the rest of the Islanders in hysterics. "Oh the boob is out Tone, the boob is out!" exclaimed Dejon. However, Toni didn't seem to hear his warning, as he later exclaimed: "Tone it's still out!" leaving the rest of the Islanders, and viewers, in hysterics. "Ain't love island without a nip slip #LoveIsland," ,laughed one fan on X, formerly known as Twitter, while another penned: "Tone the boob is out". A third echoed: "'Ton the boob is out' settle down Dejon." Meanwhile, there was drama brewing over on the Hideaway Terrace. After their trip to the terrace last night, the two took a trip to the hideaway terrace tonight, where the rest of the Islanders watched on in shock. The pair shared a 30 second kiss in the challenge last night, but Harry made it no secret that he wanted even more. Speaking to Yasmin, he said: "You're making me wanna take some risks right now 'cause I did enjoy our kiss, I dunno if 30 seconds was enough…' It looked like Yasmin was on the same page, as she replied: 'I'm waiting for you to shut the f**k up and kiss me.' However, the pair weren't as sneaky as they thought they were being, as the Islanders listened on. As they speculated about what the pair were up to, Tommy came up with a sneaky plan to peek over by doing a handy pull-up in the gym. The two were later questioned on what happened although Harry insisted it was just a chat. Things took a bigger turn in the game Look Who's Talking as the Islander's secret comments were revealed - causing even more chaos. Couples Helena and Harry and Ben and Shakira were left fuming with each other when secrets were revealed. Will the couples be able to work through things?
