Nebraska offensive line recruit has closed his recruitment
A Nebraska offensive line recruit has announced that he has closed his recruitment. Interior offensive lineman Hayden Ainsworth will announce his commitment on June 20. He recently received a prediction for the Cornhuskers from Bryan Munson of On3.
Ainsworth is a three-star recruit. He is currently the 25th overall player in his class from the state of Mississippi, according to the On3 Rankings.
Ole Miss is in his Top Ten. Alabama, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, UNLV, Florida State, Baylor, and Liberty are also under consideration.
Nebraska is looking to make additions to the class of 2026. They currently hold only four commits to a group that currently ranks 57th in the nation and 18th in the Big Ten Conference, according to On3.
Ainsworth had been scheduled to visit Liberty on June 13 and North Carolina on June 17 before ending his recruitment. He will officially make his announcement on Monday at 10:30 a.m. CT.

NEW YORK (AP) — The Liberty matched their own WNBA record by hitting 19 three-pointers in a 100-52 rout of the Connecticut Sun on Sunday. The margin of victory was the second-largest in league history, falling short of the 59-point record held by Minnesota in a win over Indiana in 2017. It did set the franchise mark for biggest win, eclipsing a 43-point victory over Washington in 1998. Advertisement Sabrina Ionescu led New York with 18 points while Jonquel Jones added 13 points and 11 rebounds. Breanna Stewart and Leonie Fiebich also had 13 points. All four sat out for nearly the entire fourth quarter. Still, New York improved to 7-0 for the first time since the 1997 season. New York also hit 19 three-pointers against Chicago on May 22 to break the previous league record. The Liberty almost topped that mark through three quarters as they hit 18 threes in the first 30 minutes, but they went cold in the fourth from the outside, only making one. The Liberty finished off a busy week by winning their fourth game in six days. They now have a bit of a break now with their next game in Washington on Thursday. Advertisement Sunday's matchup was the first game of the three-week long Commissioner's Cup in-season tournament. New York made the final last year before losing to Minnesota. The Liberty got their revenge by winning the WNBA championship. New York took it right at Connecticut, building a 31-13 lead after one quarter as Stewart, Ionescu, Fiebich and Jones combined to score all the points. The Liberty kept it rolling in the second quarter extending the advantage to 60-28 at the half. New York shot 68 percent from the field in the first half, including making 12 three-pointers. The Liberty didn't let up in the third quarter and the points kept going on the scoreboard. Even up 50 points, New York challenged a foul committed by Ionescu on a three-point shot by Marina Mabrey. New York won the challenge and the star guard ran out on the court in excitement then high-fived the Liberty staff for challenging the call. Tina Charles and Jacy Sheldon led Connecticut (1-6) with 10 points each.

Oklahoma Sooners will stripe the stadium against Michigan
The Oklahoma Sooners have a total of seven home games during the 2025 season, including a huge nonconference showdown against the Michigan Wolverines in Week 2. Earlier this week, the university announced themes for each home game, with the primetime showdown against the 2023 champs as the highlight. OU will stripe Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on September 6th, a theme the Sooners have brought out for plenty of other big games in the past. Alternating sections of fans will wear red and white shirts, displaying a great look on TV. That contest could very well earn a lot of eyeballs in early September, as it could even be the site for ESPN's College GameDay in Week 2. The network has already announced that kickoff will be at 6:30 p.m. on ABC's Saturday Night Football. But the Michigan game isn't the only one to get a theme in Norman this year. Among others, September 20th against Auburn is "Wear Crimson" day, Homecoming against Ole Miss is set for October 25th and "Military Appreciation Day" is against Missouri on November 22nd. After Oklahoma lost two home games a year ago (against Tennessee and South Carolina), the Sooners would love to get back to their 2023 form, where they went undefeated in Norman. Texas A&M lands commitment from elite 2026 five-star Edge out of Georgia
Texas A&M's recruiting success continued on Saturday afternoon, as one of the program's 13 visitors announced his commitment to the Aggies as a five-star edge Tristian Givens, who is currently taking his first official visit to College Station, became the 19th commit in A&M's 2026 cycle, and the second five-star commit alongside cornerback Brandon Arrington.
