"I'm eager to do more, to be able to bring the club the great days.
"In the day that the club thinks that I'm too much or it's time to part ways, football is like this, you never know it. But I've always said it and I keep my word in the same way.

Florian Wirtz to be joined in Liverpool by girlfriend who has 100k admirers
Liverpool have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen and the German playmaker will bring his girlfriend Aaliyah with him to Anfield Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz is moving closer to completing a record move to Liverpool. The German midfielder could soon become the most expensive player in Premier League history and will be joined by his girlfriend Aaliyah on Merseyside. Wirtz, 22, appears poised to join Arne Slot's team after Liverpool reportedly struck a deal with Bayer Leverkusen. The two clubs have agreed to a £100m fee that could rise to £116m, potentially breaking the British transfer record currently held by Chelsea's Moises Caicedo. However, the German midfielder won't be the only new arrival in Liverpool as he'll be joined by his partner Aaliyah. Wirtz has kept his personal life private, but photos of him with Aaliyah began to emerge last year. She was spotted on the pitch at the BayArena celebrating Leverkusen's unbeaten league and cup double before their defeat in the Europa League final. She also supported the Germany international in the stands at last summer's Euros. Aaliyah was pictured chatting with Sophia Weber, Kai Havertz's other half, and Wirtz's father in the stands before joining her partner on the pitch after their quarter-final defeat to Spain. Away from football, Aaliyah is an influencer. Although her Instagram account is private, she has amassed over 100k followers on TikTok, where she shares fashion inspiration. The Daily Star reports that she has also collaborated with Cologne-based photographer Jonas Herrlein. The couple are believed to have started dating in 2022, around the time when Wirtz suffered a cruciate ligament injury. As reported by German publication BILD, Aaliyah supported him during his recovery. He overcame the setback and played a crucial role in Leverkusen's unexpected Bundesliga title victory last year. Aaliyah has also become part of the family, being photographed with his parents and siblings at matches. Wirtz's transfer to Liverpool could surpass the current £115m British record set in August 2023 when Chelsea bought Caicedo from Brighton and Hove Albion, outbidding Liverpool in the process. Liverpool had previously seen bids of £109m and £113m rejected by Leverkusen before finally making headway. Wirtz is now set to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms on the deal. The Reds have already been busy in the transfer market. They moved quickly to sign Wirtz's team-mate Jeremie Frimpong for £29.5m and are close to a deal for Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez, while also being linked with an interest in Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.

Rashford's strict transfer rules leave Man Utd with one option over summer exit
Marcus Rashford is expected to be shown the Manchester United exit door this summer but the Red Devils academy graduate is rapidly running out of options for his next club Marcus Rashford might only have one Manchester United exit option left after already ruling out three Premier League rivals. The Red Devils academy graduate is fully expected to leave Old Trafford this summer after an explosive season. He was axed from the squad entirely by Ruben Amorim before joining Aston Villa on loan. Villa had a £40m option to make the deal permanent but despite his promising displays in the Midlands, they chose not to re-sign him. That has left Rashford in an uncertain position regarding his future but even then, Rashford has a list of criteria for his next club. According to the Manchester Evening News, the forward is not prepared to take a wage cut on his current £325,000-a-week package, which only a few clubs could afford. It is suggested that Rashford has already turned down moves to both Saudi Arabia and Turkey. He is open to a rival Premier League side but he does not want to move to London, which would see the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all out of the race for his services. It is further detailed that United chiefs expect Rashford to move abroad having put a move to Barcelona at the top of his list. The Catalan giants have an interest in Rashford but are currently attempting to thrash out a deal for Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams which will stretch their finances. A loan move now looks to be the only route out of Old Trafford for Rashford this summer. And he will hope to get his future sorted soon after Ruben Amorim made his feelings about a reintegration into the squad very clear. The United boss banished the forward alongside three colleagues from the club's pre-season tour alongside Antony, Alejando Garnacho and Jadon Sancho. Explaining Rashford's initial omission back in February, Amorim said: "What I say is I couldn't put Marcus to see the way you're supposed to play football and to train the way I see it. "And sometimes you have one player who is really good with one coach and the same player with another coach is different. I just wish the best to Rashford and Unai Emery, and they can connect because he's a very good player." Where do you think Marcus Rashford should go? Share your thoughts in the comments below He added: "The case was some of the guys don't adapt the way I see football, the other guys adapt, and we are trying to build the team. It's something that you feel, as a coach and a player. "It's quite normal, it happened with a lot of coaches. The important thing is that I'm here saying it was my decision."
