Dua Lipa's British Vogue Cover Might Just Be the Worst She Has Ever Looked…
Here at theFashionSpot, we need some convincing that Chioma Nnadi is the right fit at British Vogue. Nnadi ultimately succeeded Edward Enninful, and became the magazine's head of editorial content in 2023. As a result, we've suffered terribly with a series of lackluster and underwhelming covers starring the likes of Zendaya, Sophie Turner, Kylier Jenner, and Tyla (to name just a select few). Last month, there was a slight reprieve from the mediocrity, as Bella Hadid posed for Steven Meisel. Up next (making a return) on the cover of British Vogue is Dua Lipa. The London-born Albanian singer and songwriter is profiled by David Sims for the occasion, complete with Camilla Nickerson reporting for styling duties. In the quirky cover shot, the Chanel brand ambassador dons blunt bangs, a Miu Miu bra, and a headdress from London-based milliner Nerida Fraiman.
'Gurl. Body looking good, face is also looking good but the bangs! Why?' immediately asked a dumbfounded thiago upon checking out the cover.
'Probably the worst she's ever looked in a photo. Congrats to the team cause that's quite the achievement,' remarked Marc10.
'This is David Sims? Vogue editors are the worst. Pretentious, meaningless and a lost opportunity. Dua's Vogue France was not great but was a much better approach,' voiced Xone.
Also far from impressed was vogue28. 'Absolutely vile. What a seriously unflattering cover image! The styling from Camilla Nickerson is an abomination, the hair is horrific, and that headpiece is… stupid. To say I'm not a fan of this cover would be an understatement,' he declared.
'What on earth is this? I'm seriously perplexed at what I am looking at,' ReneSanchez echoed.
'AWFUL styling my gosh, and that hair was a choice. How can they manage to make her look so bad?' quipped Betrando3.

Coco Gauff Makes Outfit Admission After Berlin Open Loss
Coco Gauff Makes Outfit Admission After Berlin Open Loss originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Tennis star Coco Gauff's performance at the Berlin Open didn't end on a high note, but she made sure to serve up stylish looks on the court. Advertisement Following her victory at the French Open, the 21-year-old failed to score big on the grass court and ultimately lost to China's Wang Xinyu in Berlin. Despite the heartbreaking loss, she didn't let the outcome discourage her; instead, she chose to share the moment on social media. In a new Instagram post, she shared a closer look not only at her outfit but also at the fierce game face behind it. 'The rare tennis pic where my face actually looks normal,' she wrote. The two-time Grand Slam winner matched the grass court with her game-day look in a Miu Miu and New Balance collaboration. Gauff's outfit featured a white and dark green color palette, a nod to the surface she was playing on. She arrived at the Steffi Graf Stadium in a track jacket paired with a pleated skirt. Advertisement During the game, she went for a white cropped top with green details. Moreover, she also matched her accessories from the headband to the wristbands for a tonal look. Meanwhile, the comment section was filled with fans gushing over her game face and stylish fit. 'That outfit is [fire emoji]' a user said. 'Big credit for you, New Balance and Miu Miu, for creating this stunning outfit. This is true art!!!' a fan added. On the other hand, one follower didn't hold back and pointed out how the tennis star repeatedly adjusted her outfit during the match. 'This outfit is a big NO. You kept adjusting it the whole time. They need to go back to the drawing board,' a commenter said. Advertisement The comment prompted Gauff to respond candidly and explain that it was not a wardrobe issue. 'I always adjust my skirts or headbands not because it doesn't fit, it's just something to do with my hands to not crash out on court, redirecting my focus onto something else instead of negative thoughts. Almost every outfit I'm always moving something around. Y'all gotta think first,' she replied. The reigning Roland Garros champion also responded to a fan who urged her to rewear the kit. 'Manifesting a re-wear of this outfit because it was everything! Please consider it!!!' Gauff's follower said, to which she replied, 'New balance and I stay on a tighttt schedule. So it's most likely not coming back.' We Have Seven Questions After Watching the June 20 Days of Our Lives
The Friday, June 20 episode of Days of Our Lives honored Juneteenth and graduated the high school crew. Sophia thought she was in labor. Chanel threatened EJ, and the secret Rachel's keeping continued to manifest itself physically. Meanwhile, Marlena struggled. Physically, she was okay. Psychologically, not so much. She has a devastating case of grief, and she may need to seek help to get her through this trying time. What was the purpose of having Chanel (Raven Bowens) threaten EJ (Dan Feuerriegel)? He was already shot. It's looking like Johnny's relationship with his father is going to be the next hurdle for Chanel and Johnny (Carson Boatman) to jump. Well, that, and the fact that Johnny shot EJ, our next question. Brady (Eric Martsolf) just came out and said it. Before, it was Rachel seeing Johnny and EJ fighting, and Johnny had a gun. Now, it's she saw Johnny shoot EJ…point blank. Poor Rachel (Alice Halsey) keeps getting sick over what she saw, and now she's with Marlena (Deidre Hall), and she might say something incriminating in her sleep. This is a strange way of solving an attempted murder mystery. What isn't strange is that EJ will do whatever it takes to keep Johnny from going to jail. We get budget restrictions, logistics, and other limitations that soaps have to face. But we learned that EJ un-disappeared Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle). And thanks to Rita (Maggie Carney), the Woman in White is back at Aremid, never to step foot in Salem again. The extent of the graduation was the students decked in cap and gown, standing in a Salem High School hallway. No stage for the students to walk. No speech for Salutatorian Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) to give. Same with Mayor Paulina's inspiring Juneteenth-related words to the graduates. We had to settle for Paulina (Jackée Harry) practicing her speech for Abe (James Reynolds). Plus, we had to take Holly's word for it that both Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) were out in the audience at the graduation. We should have at least seen Eric since he returned to Salem for John's funeral. Speaking of which… We can see Eric not mentioning anything about what's going on with him because his latest visit was all about losing John, supporting Marlena, and marrying Andrew and Paul. But couldn't he have at least told Belle (Martha Madison) or Brady that he and Nicole were having problems? And why go there? If Eric and Nicole aren't in Salem, we want to think of them living their best soulmate lives in Paris with Jude. First of all, she was the Salutatorian of her high school class. She would have picked a college by now. But is she serious about leaving Salem? They are cutting it close with Tate (Leo Howard) and Sophia (Rachel Boyd). In Friday's episode, she simply had Braxton Hicks contractions. But her due date isn't that far away. Where is this going? When Brady thanked Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) for all her help with Rachel and Sophia, we got a vibe. And Brady has been single for a while. Just wondering. What are your thoughts and questions about Friday's episode? Let us know in the comments.

Princess Diana's bold request was the one thing her designer refused: 'You are a princess'
Princess Diana was ready to put royal protocol to the test to prove she was a "free woman." The late Princess of Wales is the subject of the upcoming "Princess Diana's Style & A Royal Collection" auction, which takes place on June 26 in Los Angeles. It will feature some of fashion designer Jacques Azagury's design illustrations for Diana, and fabric swatches from some of her famous dresses. "It feels wonderful [to keep her memory alive]," Azagury, who helped Diana revamp her style during her final years, told Fox News Digital during a private preview at The Peninsula Residences London. "Anything that I can do that's going to carry on the legacy of the princess, I will always do it… It's a way of keeping her alive really." Sylvester Stallone And Richard Gere Almost Brawled Over Princess Diana At Elton John's Party: Author Azagury said he met Diana in 1985 when he was showing his new collection in London. They were introduced by Anna Harvey, deputy editor of British Vogue. "She immediately put me at ease," he described. "She had this amazing ability to make you feel completely at ease in no time." Read On The Fox News App In return, Azagury would help Diana step out of her shell. "In her later years, Diana embraced this sexier, sleeker look, which was my aim," he explained. "My aim was really to just get her out of all these frills and… frumpy skirts that she was wearing at the beginning. As her life was developing, she had to be on the international stage, and it was my job to make her fit there. Gradually, I simplified and simplified her right to the end until there wasn't really that much dress. It was more about the princess and the fit of the dress." According to reports, British royals are subject to strict fashion rules. And as the wife of the future king, Diana was expected to follow them. But as her marriage publicly crumbled, Diana was ready to send a new message using her style. WATCH: PRINCESS DIANA'S DESIGNER EXPLAINS WHY HE DENIED HER BOLD FASHION REQUEST One of the most iconic looks was "The Revenge Dress," a slinky little black dress that she wore in 1994, on the same night that her ex-husband, the former Prince Charles, confessed his infidelity on national television. Reports claimed that Diana owned the Christina Stambolian design for three years, but never wore it until then because it was too daring. Charles and Diana separated in 1992. Their divorce was finalized in 1996. And it was during the '90s that Azagury created "The Famous Five," a collection of dresses that showed Diana in a new light. "This is a period when you see the Diana that we all loved, where she was feeling free from her marriage," said Azagury. "It was her new life starting. She was fit, she was training. She looked phenomenal, and these dresses were saying exactly what she wanted to say, that she was a free woman. She could wear what she wanted to wear. She moved away from royal protocol with the length of the dresses. It was kind of a rebellion, but not a rebellion. But it was her way of telling people that she's her own woman." But Azagury admitted he wasn't prepared for Diana's bold fashion request. "[She surprised me] only once," he said. "She wanted to go super short on the dresses, and we wouldn't allow it, particularly on that blue ['Swan Lake' dress from June 1997]. It was quite a low décolletage and quite short anyway, and she wanted to go even shorter. We just said, 'Look, you're not going to have a dress left and you are a princess. We've got to remember you're a princess.' So it was way short anyway, so that's really the only request we would not abide by." Click Here To Sign Up For The Entertainment Newsletter Azagury said that one of Diana's favorite colors to wear was black, which, for the royals, is typically reserved for mourning. But the princess, who was thriving during the era of supermodels, wore several pieces by Azagury that were low-cut, figure-hugging, and showcased her bare, lean arms. Her "Venice" dress from 1995 was a bright red silk two-piece featuring a short skirt. The 1997 "Washington" dress featured a deep V cut in the back. "After Diana's marriage, she portrayed herself in a slightly different manner," Azagury explained. "She had total freedom… She could wear what she wanted to wear. She was able to wear black, which she's usually not allowed to wear because royals only wear black for funerals." "So the minute she was away from that, the first dress we made for her… was a black dress we made for her after the Martin Bashir interview… a black sexy dress," he shared. "That was her way of saying, 'This is me, this is the new me. I'm confident.' And it had all of those things in that one dress. She treated the dresses like that all the way through." And as one of the most photographed women in the world, there was no room for error, Azagury stressed. "As a designer, my main thing was to make sure that every single little thing on the dress was perfect," he said. "She was stepping out of her shell, and she would have 500 photographers surrounding her, so everything had to be perfect, even though the dresses were very, very simple." "It took a lot of work to get everything immaculate, and that was my job," he said. "We never had any mishaps at all. We just didn't want to end up in a circle of shame with a bit of something sticking out. So really, it was my job to make sure that everything was perfect for her." Like What You're Reading? Click Here For More Entertainment News Azagury created what royal watchers have coined the "Final Goodbye" dress. It was a full-length black dress highlighting a plunging neckline, thin straps and a high front slit. Diana was fitted for it in London just before she flew to Paris. "I think it might've been for a Disney premiere, so we wanted to make it more wow than the other dresses and make it really Hollywood red carpet," said Azagury. "All that had to be done was to [adjust] the straps. Sadly, she never got back to wear it." But her legacy lives on, he said. "The princess is still indirectly affecting fashion, affecting the other royals," said Azagury. "Of course, anytime that Kate wears something that possibly remotely looks like something Diana wore… it always gets compared in the newspapers. So, she's still there." "In a way, the dresses that she wore at the time, yes, they were fashions of the time, but they were timeless pieces," he reflected. "Any of the dresses that I made, for instance, could be worn today, and they wouldn't look out of place. There's something to say about her dress sense… it went quite deep."Original article source: Princess Diana's bold request was the one thing her designer refused: 'You are a princess'
