Pamela Anderson Steps Out in Showgirl-Worthy Style at the Met Gala 2025

Vogue05-05-2025

Pamela Anderson has had quite a year. First, the 57-year-old star's career-defining turn as veteran Las Vegas dancer Shelly in Gia Coppola's The Last Showgirl got rave reviews and earned her a Golden Globe nomination; now, with the chaos of awards season behind her, Anderson is ready to celebrate the first Monday in May with her oldest son Brandon Thomas Lee by her side.
Anderson hit the red carpet at the 2025 Met Gala with Lee, a producer and actor known for his roles in TV shows and movies including Cosmic Sin and Sierra Burgess is a Loser. (Anderson's younger son, Dylan Jagger Lee, is also a model and musician.) Anderson wore an ice-blue silk mesh Tory Burch gown embroidered with twisted silver sequins and a mix of scattered crystals, and in a nod to the night's Tailored for You dress code, the dress's silhouette was tailored from the inside out using traditional menswear techniques. Lee wore a custom tuxedo by Genuardi.
Anderson and Lee's professional collaboration didn't begin and end with the Met Gala, of course; Lee was credited as an executive producer on The Last Showgirl, telling Variety in December 2024 of his involvement with the film: 'My personal mission was to give my mom the opportunities she gave me as a child. She would do anything for me. She showed up and was a very good mother.'
Hopefully, we'll have many more projects (not to mention red-carpet looks) coming our way from Pamela Anderson & Sons in the future.

Pamela Anderson Says This One Place Is ‘Where Everything Came Back Together for Me' After Private Struggles

Pamela Anderson believes her Vancouver Island garden is like a "metaphor" for her life The Last Showgirl star's garden is now in its seventh season, currently harvesting beets, radishes and lettuce The garden was previously featured in HGTV Canada's series Pamela's Garden of EdenAccording to Pamela Anderson, her life is a lot like her Vancouver Island garden. 'The garden is such a metaphor: You can replant your garden every year, rotate your crops. I started learning a lot about it and thought, this is how I want my life to be,' the author and actress, 57, tells Architectural Digest. In 2020, The Last Showgirl star moved back to her family's long-held plot on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Since then, Anderson has revealed that leaving Hollywood for her hometown was to help her 'Remember who I was.' In the process, she's discovered a passion for nature.'It started when I realized you could just eat blackberries off a bush or a crabapple in a tree. It was one of those aha moments, that food comes from the ground, comes from the earth,' the mother of two says. 'I realized, oh, I can have my own garden. When I moved home to restart, I instantly thought, I'm going to make an incredible garden.' The property, known as Arcady, has helped her move through an often complicated life: '[It's] where everything came back together for me. This whole new chapter? It started in the garden.' Now in its seventh season, Anderson's 'Provençal' garden grows everything from wildflowers to herbs and vegetables. Currently, her team is harvesting beets, radishes and lettuces while the Baywatch star is out on the road. But some of her favorite things to grow include roses and heirloom tomatoes. 'I love my Yves Piaget roses. I also harvest rose hips and make face oils and all sorts of beauty treatments out of them,' Anderson says. 'And I love my heirloom tomatoes — I have that vegan cookbook I put out last year. A great heirloom tomato salad—that's the perfect food.' But The Naked Gun actress isn't the only one who enjoys the garden's produce: 'We get to feed a lot of food banks, soup kitchens, churches, neighbors, and family and friends.'The Vancouver garden is far from traditional. Anderson described it as 'very volcanic,' like 'an interesting vortex.' Even her gardener says 'I don't know what's going on in this garden, but it's so happy.' 'There's just something about it — getting your hands dirty, even being barefoot in the garden — something about it connects me back to who I am,' she describes. 'That's where I found myself again, so it's very special.' This is not the first time Anderson's garden has been in the public eye. The actress is no stranger to posting garden updates on her Instagram. The grounds were also featured in Pamela's Garden of Eden, a series which followed the star as she restored her family's Canadian property. However, Anderson revealed exclusively to PEOPLE that she felt 'exploited' while filming the first season. 'The first season, I was a bit of a mess,' Anderson said in November 2023. 'It was not my favorite time of life. I was in survival mode while writing my memoir [Love, Pamela], the documentary [Pamela: A Love Story] was being made, and I was an open wound when it was being shot. I just wasn't that happy with it.' "The second season is about redemption, authenticity, truth and self acceptance," she added. "I'm taking my power back, instead of giving it up. I took control of the show and figured out a way to keep to my vision, and turn it into a positive experience. I kept it real." Read the original article on People

Sandra Oh Gives a Final Answer on Whether She Would Reprise Her 'Grey's Anatomy 'Role' 'as Cristina Yang

Sandra Oh spoke with the New York Times The Interview LIVE about whether she would ever return as Dr. Cristina Yang in Grey's Anatomy The Emmy winner told Lulu Garcia-Navarro "at this point, I don't think so" Oh, who earned five Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe for her work on Grey's Anatomy, hasn't returned to the show since her departure in 2014Paging Dr. Cristina Yang. At The New York Times The Interview LIVE event on June 12 at the Indeed Theater at Spring Studios, Sandra Oh spoke with The Interview co-host Lulu Garcia-Navarro about whether or not the award-winning actress would return as the doctor on Grey's Anatomy 11 years after her departure. 'What I have noticed, this is 10 years out from leaving the show, is the deep appreciation that I have for the people who appreciate Cristina. It is that love that has made me go, 'Oh. The fans really, really, really want it,' and for the first time, that's when I started opening up the idea,' Oh, 53, shares. 'But for me, I think to really be true to the people who enjoy your work, you have to be true to yourself. So at this point, I don't think so.' Oh, who earned five Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe for her work on Grey's Anatomy, hasn't returned to the show since her departure in 2014, and over the years, has been on the fence about the character's return. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. The character, however, has remained a part of the story through onscreen mentions, phone calls and written correspondences with other characters. Dr. Yang notably showed up to support her best friend Meredith Grey, played by Ellen Pompeo, at the funeral for her husband Derek Shepherd, played by Patrick Dempsey, though a body double for Oh was used in the scene. Oh was one of the original stars of Grey's Anatomy when it premiered in 2005, which also featured Pompeo, Katherine Heigl, Justin Chambers, T.R. Knight, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Isaiah Washington and Dempsey. Since she exited Grey's Anatomy, Oh has held starring roles in series such as American Crime, The Chair, Invincible and Killing Eve, the latter of which earned her a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Eve Polastri. She has also starred in movies like Catfight, Raya and the Last Dragon, Turning Red, Umma and Quiz Lady, for which she was awarded an Emmy. Grey's Anatomy, the longest-running primetime medical drama in television history, recently concluded its 21st season and returns for season 22 this fall on ABC. Read the original article on People

Bad Bunny Says It Is Silly To Complain About His Job

It's fair to say that Bad Bunny is one of the hardest-working music artists in the game right now. Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio went from the barrio to the Billboard charts, becoming one of the first Latin artists to sell out stadiums around the world, even breaking the record for most tickets ever sold in Spain (he's set to perform 12 shows there on his upcoming tour). In a June 18 interview with Variety, the Puerto Rican superstar spoke to his work ethic as a music artist and celebrity. When his comments went viral, the fans were eating it up just as much as his boricua beats. In the interview, discussing his upcoming residency and tour surrounding his sixth studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, Benito got real about what's expected of him as he embarks on one of the biggest tours of his career. "At times, I do think, cabrón, what I'm signing up for is a lot," he said. For context, Benito is set to perform a 30-night residency at the Colseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, not too far from where he grew up from July 11 to Sept. 14, and then he's going on a 56-date world stadium tour from November 2025 to July 2026. Basically, he's booked and busy. "But the way I see it, I'm not a doctor; I'm not a teacher; I'm not someone who has to wake up every morning at 5 a.m. to lay down concrete on a busy road to survive," Benito continued. "My job is to fucking sing, and even though it comes with its own set of sacrifices, it feels silly to complain about it." When Benito's comments on the pressure of fame started to make their rounds on the internet, like in this Reddit thread, a lot of people had something to say about it, many praising the three-time Grammy winner for his honesty. Here are some of my favorite comments. "He's a man who got famous as an adult and has managed to become the hometown hero of Puerto Rico, which he obviously put in the work to deserve. It's not necessarily easy to handle, but you can compare that to what a lot of women and people who start as child stars go through. Good for him that he feels this way about it, but I'm not shocked that it's not a common perspective. If he can avoid the toxicity of overwhelming greed and not chase being a billionaire or whatever, he might actually stay happy," a Reddit user shared. Another Reddit user said, "Finally someone with some common sense. I'm so tired of celebs complaining how hard their job is, having never worked a real job in their lives. Like, sure, the pressure must be a lot and paparazzi and public scrutiny, but that's nothing compared to some annoying boomer manager breathing down your neck 24/7 or a customer having a screaming meltdown over a difference of 28 cents or cleaning up vomit, etc." "I appreciate the humility but the more artists downplay the work they put in the more the public does as well. EVERY job has pros and cons so please remember that. He is lucky to have the job he has but it's not like many of them don't work hard for it. 💙" X user wrote. This Reddit user wrote, "He has the right attitude and a healthy perspective." "Good way of putting it, everything is relative and even with fame and money and privilege you can still stress and be sad and be overwhelmed at times, but still understand and be grateful for what you have," another X user wrote. "I truly wish more celebrities and influencers had enough self-awareness to realize that publicly whining about their privileged lives doesn't hit the way they think it does," another Reddit user added. Finally, this Reddit user said, "It doesn't even sound like he's saying that as a performer you can't have bad days or struggle in/with your career, it more so sounds like he simply thinks it's in poor taste to publicly lament about how hard you have it since it's a highly privileged profession." What do you think about Bad Bunny's take on the pressures of being a famous singer? Let's talk about it in the comments.
