We're Living in the Golden Age of Men's Shorts
In 2011, Tom Ford proclaimed that 'a man should never wear shorts in the city.' With all due respect to the supremely suave designer, those days are long gone. It's been two years since Pedro Pascal broke one of fashion's last commandments at the Met Gala, wearing above-the-knee shorts with boots and a red Valentino coat. Aussie Jacob Elordi—all 6 feet, 5 inches of him—followed suit at the brand's spring 2024 runway show, pairing thigh-baring shorts with a tie and leather blazer. Fashion risk-takers Chris Pine, Colman Domingo and Pharrell Williams have since worn them on the red carpet. Off duty, Paul Mescal and Donald Glover often go viral on social media with shorts that can only be described as skimpy.

Yara Sameh Cardi B has returned on Friday with a brand thumping new song, 'Outside,' as she's ready to take over the summer. The Bronx bombshell announced plans for the song on Tuesday. 'We OUTSIDE this Friday,' she wrote on Instagram, which sent her fans into a frenzy. She also shared a block party-themed cover art filled with a flowing fire hydrant and party remnants such as red Solo cups and dominoes. Cardi has teased snippets of the single on social media in the past months and the positive reception has finally led to a full release. "I've been cuffed up too long, let me remind n—as. Your favorite player on your favorite team, he in my DM," she raps about ending her relationship with estranged husband Offset from whom she filed for divorce for a second time in July 2024. Cardi has laid low on the music front for much of 2025, with appearances on the Smurfs Movie soundtrack and joining Pardison Fontaine for 'Toot It Up'. 'Outside' marks Cardi's first solo single of 2025 and her first single since 'Enough' in 2024. The 32-year-old musician has kept busy throughout 2025 with appearances at the Met Gala and the start of a new chapter with NFL star Stefon Diggs. Cardi went public with her relationship in May when she was spotted courtside at a New York Knicks playoff game with Diggs. She has also been in mom mode, taking care of her three children. The singer posted the first official photos of her baby Blossom on Instagram earlier this week, which saw Cardi having a fun pool day at home with the kids. Ciara has got 'a lot of love' for Rihanna as she breaks silence on rumored rift
Ciara has revealed her bad blood with Rihanna is now water under the bridge. In an interview with Bravo's Watch What Happens Live on Thursday, the 39-year-old singer revealed that past tension has now disappeared. 'CiCi got a lot of love for RiRi,' said Ciara. The feud between the stunning singers started in February of 2011, when Ciara admitted she and Rihanna hadn't been on the best of terms while appearing on the E! series Fashion Police. Ciara said back then: 'I ran into her recently at a party and she wasn't the nicest and it's crazy because I've always loved and respected what she's done with fashion. I've ran into her before, but this time it wasn't the most pleasant run-in.' However, she's now revealed they have both matured and traded their youthful rivalries for parental responsibilities. Ciara is parents to four kids: son Future Zahir 11, with rapper Future; and with Wilson, daughter Sienna Princess, eight, son Win Harrison, four, and Amora Princess, one. Rihanna is mom to two kids with ASAP Rocky - sons RZA Athelston Mayers, two, and Riot Rose Mayers, one - and expecting her third. Ciara went on: 'Oh my gosh, we were babies - now we're mamas doing our thing - it's all love.' Ciara said that she recently crossed paths with Rihanna at the Met Gala last month, revealing they 'got to have a good conversation'. She added: 'She's now having her third baby, which is so cool - so shout out to mamas out here doing everything!' Back in 2011, after Ciara was critical of the S&M singer on the E! series, Rihanna replied to the onscreen snub tweeting, 'My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme.' Ciara replied: 'Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off the stage' to which Rihanna said in reply, 'U gangsta huh? Haaa. Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.'

Lizzo admits to trying Ozempic, but reveals her weight loss is all hard work, not just a miracle fix
Hold onto your salad bowls, Lizzo just dropped a bomb about her body transformation that has the internet side-eyeing and spiral-Googling Ozempic again. On Trisha Paytas' "Just Trish" podcast, the 37-year-old singer casually confirmed she had indeed tried GLP-1 weight-loss medications, including Ozempic. Yep, you read that right. Lizzo talks Ozempic: 'Yes, i tried it' But do not get it twisted, Lizzo was quick to make it clear that her jaw-dropping glow-up was not the result of some magical jab. Lizzo explained that Ozempic works because it suppresses appetite, making you feel full. But she doubled down on the fact that she put in the work: cutting calories, hitting the gym daily, and sticking to a routine like a boss. For her, it was never about a shortcut, it was about strategy and stamina. She even dropped a reminder that weight loss, with or without meds, boils down to a simple equation: calories in versus calories out. A little injection cannot replace discipline, and that is the gospel according to Lizzo. Life is glowing, not just shrinking The "About Damn Time" singer revealed that she has now shed 16% body fat and dropped her BMI by over 10% since early 2023. She celebrated her goal weight earlier this year and reflected on how her life has drastically 'elevated.' But it is not just about fitting into smaller clothes — it is about confidence, clarity, and a killer skincare routine. Lizzo confessed that while she always felt fabulous on red carpets — even at the Met Gala, she now feels like her whole life is aligned. From her Invisalign to her inner circle, everything feels sharper, cleaner, and more powerful. 'I worked for this, respect it' The pop diva also made it crystal clear: she earned her compliments. Those fire fits? That glowing skin? That undeniable vibe? It is all her. She embraced the praise, saying it felt validating because people saw her putting in the work. To sum it up? Lizzo says she is still that girl, but now, she is her strongest, most unstoppable self. With or without Ozempic.

REUTERS/Mario Anzuoni/File Photo SYDNEY - Australia's Super Netball league will be broadcast to more than 65 countries over the next three years after Netball Australia struck a deal with Whoopi Goldberg's All Women's Sports Network (AWSN), the governing body said on Friday. Netball, one of a few sports created exclusively for women and girls, is the most popular participation sport for females in Australia with Netball Australia estimating there are up to a million players across the country. The professional Super Netball league, which was launched in 2017, has eight teams and 41 of its games, including the playoffs and finals, will now be broadcast on AWSN. "This breakthrough deal puts netball on screens across the globe and cements our place at the forefront of women's sport," Netball Australia chief executive Stacey West said in a statement. "AWSN shares our vision of taking women's sport to new heights. Together, we're creating a platform for our athletes and game to shine like never before." Co-founded by Oscar-winning actor and comedian Goldberg, AWSN was launched late last year as the first global media channel dedicated exclusively to showcasing women's sports. "I am so proud to be thanking you for joining us on AWSN," Goldberg said in a video message to Super Netball released by Netball Australia. "I see that your fans are really loving you, so we want to make sure that we put you everywhere in the world so that everybody knows about you."
