
Motorcyclist (25) dies in two-vehicle crash in Armagh

A motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle crash in the Tandragee area of Craigavon this morning.
Inspector Cherith Adair: 'Officers received and responded to a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and a Renault Scenic car at Mullahead Road shortly after 8.10am.
'Colleagues from partner services were also in attendance.
'Sadly, a 25-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
'Road closures were in place for some time but the Mullahead Road has since reopened, while a closure remains in place at Ballymore Road.'
Anyone in the area at the time with dash cam or mobile phone footage should contact police by calling 101, and quoting reference number 231 of 19/06/25, or online at psni.police.uk/makeareport.

Woman (82) dies following two vehicle A5 crash in Co Tyrone
Bernadette 'Bernie' Cranley who was from Lifford in Co Donegal, was aged 82. She was the driver of a silver Toyota Vitz which was in collision with a blue Suzuki Vitara on the Mellon Road between Omagh and Newtownstewart near the folk park at around 12.30pm. The other driver, a woman in her 70s, was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment to what have been described as serious injuries. The road remained closed for a short time after the collision. Cyclist, 62, dies in Co Armagh road traffic collision
A cyclist has died following a road crash in Co Armagh. Paddy McDonald, 62, from the Castleblayney area across the Irish border in Co Monaghan, died following the incident which happened at around 2.20pm on Friday in the Middletown Cherith Adair, from the collision investigation unit, said he was declared dead at the scene. 'Police received a report at around 2.20pm of a serious road traffic collision involving a car and a cyclist on the Monaghan Road in the Middletown area,' she said.'Officers attended, alongside colleagues from our partner emergency services. A male cyclist was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.'He was 62-year-old Paddy McDonald from the Castleblayney area.'The road was closed for a period of time as officers conducted inquiries, but has since reopened.'Collision investigation unit detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision and would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have captured dash-cam or other footage which could assist with our inquiries.'You can call 101 and quote reference CW 998 of 16/05/25, or make a report online at
