Triple H in a pickle involving two potential finalists ahead of WWE Night of Champions match – here's who they are
Triple H seems to face a major issue ahead of the WWE Night of Champions involving two possible finalists – Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. Considering their world-famous rivalry and recent World Championship losses, both men are in no position to lose out on the Night of Champions title which makes their upcoming semifinal all the more important.
As of now, Sami Zayn, Randy Orton, Rhodes, and Uso have qualified for the first-round matches of the King of the Ring Tournament, a part of the WWE Night of Champions tournament. Zayn and Orton are scheduled to compete in this week's SmackDown to decide the first finalist for the tournament. The much-anticipated clash between Rhodes and Uso will feature in next week's RAW to determine the second finalist.
Speculations suggest that a possible interference from Seth Rollins and his faction could thaw the match. These circumstances came close to reality in this week's RAW episode when Uso pinned down Branson Reed to advance to the King of the Ring tournament in a deadly 4-way win. Rollins came out in anger at the end and challenged Uso to a confrontation.
Just as Uso was prepping for a stomp, Rhodes stepped in favor of his long-time friend Rollins which led to all parties peacefully backing down. Next week's battle between Rhodes and Uso is a crucial one for WWE Night of Champions. Another loss for either of the two could prove quite heavy for their career.
Fans are now anxious to see Triple H book the final moments of next week's match.

Seth Rollins' WWE career follows a bizarre 5-year security trend
Image via WWE An interesting trend about Seth Rollins ' WWE career over the last fifteen years came to light. Seth Rollins has been credited as a true workhorse of WWE's modern era. Although he had the help of many allies, that did not overshadow his exceptional in-ring acumen, ability to deliver each night, and become a marquee WWE superstar. However, there has been a trend that has been prevalent in Rollins' WWE tenure over the years, which was noticed recently and is interesting to note. Seth Rollins has had backup in his career for the last fifteen years Seth Rollins' rise as a top-tier singles WWE star began in 2014 when he won the Money in the Bank ladder match. Heading into 2015, he was backed by the Authority faction led by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. To protect their golden goose, J&J Security, comprising Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury, were assigned as his backup, with Kane as well, for a while. This led to Rollins securing major wins and retaining his WWE title on numerous occasions. In 2020, at the height of the pandemic era, Rollins turned heel after several years of portraying a babyface. This time, his wall of protection was the dominant tag team, AOP, and was also joined by his disciple, Buddy Matthews, during his time as 'The Monday Night Messiah.' The faction was a formidable unit that also assisted Rollins on numerous occasions. Fast-forward another five years in today's landscape, The Visionary once again has been backed by a security force of dominant stars. Under the guidance of The Wiseman, Paul Heyman, Rollins formed the faction with him and Bron Breakker after WrestleMania 41. They then added Big Bronson Reed, who made his return from injury at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event in May 2025. The cohesive unit has been wreaking havoc on both RAW and SmackDown, helping Rollins become a two-time Mr. Money in the Bank this year. The Revolutionary's interesting pattern of having security forces around him has taken his career ahead each time. With the Money in the Bank now in his grasp due to his faction's assistance, it can be assumed that the future might see Seth Rollins ruling the roost as the new World Champion to further his dominance. Magnus Carlsen Reveals Feeling 'Washed And Useless' After 'Painful And Dumb' Loss To D Gukesh
Last Updated: Magnus Carlsen won his seventh Norway Chess title, despite a "painful" loss to World Champion D Gukesh. Nobody likes losing, let alone those who reign at the top. Magnus Carlsen is no exception to the same, as the World No 1 revealed the internal battles after suffering a 'painful…dumb' loss to reigning World Champion D Gukesh at Norway Chess. The 34-year-old Norwegian secured his seventh Norway Chess title, where he beat the likes of Gukesh, Arjun Erigaisi, Wei Yi, Fabiano Caruana, and Hikaru Nakamura to once again stake his claim as the best in the world. But, even the best have their embarrassing slip-ups. At the end of the day, one wrong move is all it takes to change an entire game. And that is exactly what happened at the tournament in a crucial match between Carlsen and Gukesh, where the Norwegian succumbed to a now-popular loss against the Indian teenager. Carlsen, who was visibly upset over the loss, ended up slamming the table before regaining composure and shaking hands with Gukesh. While his reaction has now prompted a series of remarks on the internet, including criticism from many, Carlsen himself opened up on the same and revealed the thought process behind his reaction. 'That was a really painful loss. Those hit a lot harder," Carlsen revealed in an interview on Pardon My Take. 'Honestly, part of me, when I had that loss (to Gukesh) recently, just felt it was so dumb and so unnecessary. It just made me feel so kind of washed and useless that my thought for a few days was just 'I'm not sure why I'm doing this.' When I win, it's good, but it feels kind of normal. Then when I lose, it's just, you know, for a moment, the world just falls apart." Well, thankfully for Carlsen, salvation was near, and he would attain the same, as the five-time World Champion secured the Norway Chess crown after a dramatic final round where his closest challenger, Gukesh, faltered at the last hurdle. It marked Carlsen's seventh triumph at his home event and underscores his enduring dominance in the classical format, despite stepping back from World Championship competition. He finished with 16 points, half a point ahead of Caruana, who capitalized on Gukesh's error to claim second place with 15.5 points, while Gukesh, who has had an up-and-down year as the reigning World Champion, had to settle for third with 14.5 points.
