Seth Rollins' WWE career follows a bizarre 5-year security trend
Image via WWE An interesting trend about Seth Rollins ' WWE career over the last fifteen years came to light. Seth Rollins has been credited as a true workhorse of WWE's modern era. Although he had the help of many allies, that did not overshadow his exceptional in-ring acumen, ability to deliver each night, and become a marquee WWE superstar. However, there has been a trend that has been prevalent in Rollins' WWE tenure over the years, which was noticed recently and is interesting to note. Seth Rollins has had backup in his career for the last fifteen years Seth Rollins' rise as a top-tier singles WWE star began in 2014 when he won the Money in the Bank ladder match. Heading into 2015, he was backed by the Authority faction led by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. To protect their golden goose, J&J Security, comprising Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury, were assigned as his backup, with Kane as well, for a while. This led to Rollins securing major wins and retaining his WWE title on numerous occasions. In 2020, at the height of the pandemic era, Rollins turned heel after several years of portraying a babyface. This time, his wall of protection was the dominant tag team, AOP, and was also joined by his disciple, Buddy Matthews, during his time as 'The Monday Night Messiah.' The faction was a formidable unit that also assisted Rollins on numerous occasions. Fast-forward another five years in today's landscape, The Visionary once again has been backed by a security force of dominant stars. Under the guidance of The Wiseman, Paul Heyman, Rollins formed the faction with him and Bron Breakker after WrestleMania 41. They then added Big Bronson Reed, who made his return from injury at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event in May 2025. The cohesive unit has been wreaking havoc on both RAW and SmackDown, helping Rollins become a two-time Mr. Money in the Bank this year. The Revolutionary's interesting pattern of having security forces around him has taken his career ahead each time. With the Money in the Bank now in his grasp due to his faction's assistance, it can be assumed that the future might see Seth Rollins ruling the roost as the new World Champion to further his dominance. WWE Champion exits RAW match with ugly injury
The post WWE Champion exits RAW match with ugly injury appeared first on ClutchPoints. When WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan took the ring for a match against Kairi Sane, it felt like an otherwise unremarkable middle-of-the-show match on an otherwise usual RAW. Advertisement Sure, the show had some intrigue, like a retiring Bill Goldberg announcing his final professional match, but Morgan versus Sane? No matter the outcome, that match is at best a setup for something more, as opposed to a definitive showdown with a lasting impact. Well, while that may not have been Paul 'Triple H' Levesque's intentions, sometimes, the professional wrestling gods have other ideas, with Morgan coming up in pain after a relatively routine takedown, and the match was called off. Explaining what happened after an unplanned commercial break, Michael Cole and Corey Graves broke the situation down, noting what the promotion knows about Morgan's injury so far. 'We mentioned moments ago Liv Morgan was injured in her match with Kairi Sane, helped to the back by medical personnel,' Cole explained. 'We can tell you now that it appears that Liv has suffered a dislocated shoulder in that matchup.' Advertisement 'Unfortunate circumstance, Liv Morgan, we know this is a high-risk business,' Graves added. 'Every night, every competitor who steps in the ring puts their body at risk. Best wishes to Liv, we'll keep you posted.' 'Yeah, stay tuned to WWE's social media channels throughout the week for the latest on Liv Morgan,' Cole concluded While Morgan wasn't in the running to win Queen of the Ring at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, with Roxanne Perez winning their four-person bracket earlier in the month, she was pushing hard for an angle with IYO SKY, with the duo potentially on the books for a match at the Kingdom Arena had everything shook out perfectly. While a dislocated shoulder isn't a long-term injury, only time will tell when Morgan can return and what she will look like when that day comes. 'He Can Bite Me' - Goldberg Fires Back At WWE Legend
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg has responded to criticism from fellow legend Bully Ray regarding his return for a World Heavyweight Championship match. Goldberg returned to Raw on June 16 to challenge the champion, GUNTHER. The booking drew criticism from some, including Bully Ray, who questioned the logic of a 58-year-old getting an immediate title shot. Goldberg addressed those comments directly during an appearance on The National Football Show with Dan Sileo. Goldberg Responds To Bully Ray Goldberg justified his position by referencing his iconic undefeated streak in WCW. He then dismissed the criticism from his fellow Hall of Famer. "I was 176-0. I don't have to stand in freakin' line. So Bully Ray can bite me," Goldberg said. "But everybody's got an opinion, and Bully Ray has a podcast that's about wrestling, and so you're obviously gonna chime in and give your two cents, and I love him to death and I respect his opinion. But his opinion is like an a**hole, and everybody's got one." Goldberg Addressing Criticism About His Age Goldberg also had a message for fans who believe he is too old to be competing for a world title. He acknowledged his age but challenged anyone to do what he does. "But, show me another 58-year-old dude that's willing to go out and do this? ... I'm gonna hopefully surpass their performance and at the end of the day, I gotta surpass my performance in the past." More news: WWE News: Steve Austin Reveals Real-Life Vince McMahon Confrontation GUNTHER Adds Fuel To The Fire Goldberg's opponent, GUNTHER, has also taken a shot at the returning legend.
