WWE SmackDown is back with another edition of a scintillating and power-packed promotion on June 20, 2025. As WWE's 11th edition of Night of Champions is just around the corner, this edition of the Blue Brand might prove to be one of the memorable nights of the Stamford-based promotion, and it will set the stage for some major storyline development for the upcoming major premium live event, Night of Champions 2025, going to be hosted at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
According to reports, this edition of Smackdown will emanate live from Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The show will feature two semi-finals in the King and Queen of the Ring tournament. It will also witness some action-packed performances from top WWE stars like John Cena, Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Nia Jax, and WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton.
Moreover, this week's SmackDown promotion will also feature appearances from superstars from the Raw brand.

This gave Truth the strength to capitalized on the distraction, attacking the Champion.

In the first semi-finals of the King of the Ring Tournament, Randy Orton will lock horns with Sami Zayn on this week's show. The werstler who will emerge as the winner of the match will advance to the finals and will battle the winner of the second semi-final between Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
The finals of the tournament will take place on the 2025 edition of
Night of Champions
in Riyadh.
The winner of the tournament will also get a title shot at SummerSlam.

SmackDown will also host the semi-final match in the Queen of the Ring tournament tonight in Michigan featuring Alexa Bliss and Asuka, who made her return on this week's Raw and defeated Ivy Nile, Stephanie Vaquer, and Raquel Rodriguez to secure the final spot in the semi-finals.
