Ashley Tisdale Shares Daughter's Reaction to High School Musical

Ashley Tisdale's daughter Jupiter has some fabulous requests.
After all, the 4-year-old has learned from the best: her mom's High School Musical character, Sharpay Evans. The 'Be Good To Me' singer recently shared that Jupiter—whom she shares with husband Christopher French—will 'not stop' watching the Disney film after she saw her cousin play her mom's former role in a play.
'When she's seen the [original] movie in the past, she never really cared about it,' Ashley, 39, said in a May 13 TikTok video. 'But I think seeing my niece in the play has just changed her. She had to watch all three movies. She will not stop listening to the music. When I'm on walks with her, she asks for me to play it.'

Though her daughter is a fan of the entire franchise, she has a soft spot for High School Musical 2. In fact, Jupiter's favorite song is Sharpay's duet with brother Ryan Evans (played by Lucas Gabriel) in the second movie, 'HUMUHUMUNUKUNUKUAPUA'A'—although, Ashley isn't a huge fan of the Tiki-inspired hit.
'I hate that song, but I'm having to listen to it over and over,' she joked. 'Also, she screams out in public, 'I'm Sharpay's baby!' I literally can't.'
Jupiter's newfound love for the musical film doesn't stop there, as Ashley—also mom to 11-month-old son Emerson—revealed her daughter sings 'We're All in This Together' when they're shopping in the store together. And while she occasionally gets 'embarrassed' by the moment, she also finds it endearing.
'It's really sweet,' she continued, 'but after a good week straight of listening to the music again, it's like, 'Okay…we're good. We don't need to watch this again.'
Jupiter's latest reaction to High School Musical is just as hilarious as her first watch over a year ago, where she believed that Troy Bolton (portrayed by Zac Efron) was her dad.
'She's like, 'Daddy!' I was like, 'No, no, no,'' Ashley recalled in the Jan. 15 episode of the Breaking Beauty podcast, before sharing what made her daughter believe she had familial ties to Zac. 'Just because they have dark hair.'

While her mother consumed half-a-glass and she herself took a single sip, she said, "neither of us were unwell afterward." Suzanne Hyslop, a qualified nutritionist at the Ocean Recovery Centre in the U.K., told Newsweek that the movement in the juice "could very well be fruit fly or other small insects that had burrowed in." She added that "this can happen when oranges are overripe or damaged or have been left on the tree too long." The incident, while amusing to some, comes amid broader challenges facing citrus production in Portugal and elsewhere in southern Europe. A June 2023 report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture found that citrus production in the European Union is primarily based in Mediterranean countries. Spain and Italy are the top producers, followed by Greece, Portugal, and Cyprus. The report stated: "A reduction in EU citrus production is expected mainly in Spain with an almost 18 percent decrease, the lowest citrus production levels since the last decade." It also noted that reductions are projected in Italy and Portugal, particularly in orange yields. Spain's crop alone accounts for roughly 65 percent of the EU's citrus production. Hyslop said: "Picking fruit straight from a tree sounds wonderfully natural, but there are some important things to keep in mind." She cautioned against picking fruit from trees in public areas, adding: "Even in a country known for its fresh produce, safety requires proper handling, hygiene and also quality control," Hyslop said. The nutritionist added that, without knowing how a tree is maintained or what it has been exposed to, there is "no guarantee it's safe to consume." She highlighted possible contaminants such as vehicle emissions, pesticides, animal droppings and other urban pollutants. 'We're going to be drowning in this shit for the foreseeable future,' Oliver warned. The comedian acknowledged there's no easy fix. AI models are often trained on the work of real-life creators, effectively ripping them off, he noted. He didn't offer a solution but did suggest 'a petty way' to seek revenge, by making genuine art by stealing from the slop.
