NASCAR driver Shane van Gisbergen made a joke about Red Bull Racing's brutal driver handlings.
Gisbergen got his maiden win in Mexico over the past weekend after struggling in his first full-time NASCAR Cup Series season.
He only made the top ten once in the first 15 races. He struggled to adapt to the ovals that feature so prominently in the American racing series.

His win was anything but smooth; he battled shifting conditions due to the inconsistent rain and a never-ending series of caution flags.
Despite all of the challenges, Gisbergen managed to pull off the win, staying calm, cool, and collected throughout the race.
After his landmark win, he thanked Trackhouse Racing for their continued support of him despite his struggles.
He made a cheeky remark about the support he received during his downturn in form, comparing it to what Red Bull offered fellow New Zealander Liam Lawson.
"I'm glad I didn't drive for Red Bull F1 after how the first few rounds went," van Gisbergen joked after the race.
"[Team boss] Justin [Marks] has been amazing, supporting me and just giving me all the time I need and not putting pressure on [me]. It's been really cool."
Red Bull's F1 team decided to axe Lawson after only two races, a drastic decision that followed a series of underwhelming results.
When Lawson made an Instagram post back in March about his removal from Red Bull, van Gisbergen left a message under the post saying, "Prove em Wrong!"
The 36-year-old New Zealander mentored his fellow countryman and backed Lawson through different racing series.
While trying to make it in America, van Gisbergen still monitored Lawson's progress.
"The way he's gotten to F1 has been a little difficult the last couple of years. But seeing him get this opportunity full-time now, I'm just stoked and so proud," he said back in December.
"You've got to be versatile, which is something I've always tried to do by driving a bunch of different cars. It helps you when it comes to something new in the setup, something technical, or even with the weather changing. You've got to be able to adapt straight away.
"Liam's been exceptional at that. Even when F1 wasn't working out, he did DTM and other racing that I think has really helped him."

Oklahoma State's Ethan Fang wins 2025 British Amateur, punches ticket to 3 majors

The moment Ethan Fang made history at The 130th Amateur Championship 🏆 Ethan Fang has added a couple significant trophies to his resume over the last month. The rising junior at Oklahoma State won the 130th British Amateur Championship on Saturday, beating East Tennessee State sophomore Gavin Tiernan 1 up with a clutch birdie on the 36th hole at Royal St. George's. Fang became the first American to win the Amateur since Drew Weaver in 2007, and he's the first Oklahoma State player since Bob Dickson to win the Amateur. Dickson was also the last player to win both the British Amateur and U.S. Amateur in the same year. Fang will have the opportunity to do so in August at Olympic Club in San Francisco. 'It feels great. Still doesn't feel real yet. But I'm sure it'll kick in, and I'll celebrate with my team," Fang said. 'I was hitting it well all day, and I knew if I just stayed in it, some putts would drop, kind of have him work for it, and it ended up working out." With the win, Fang gets an exemption into the 153rd Open at Royal Portrush next month as well as the 2026 Masters and U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills. In addition to the three majors, he earned a spot in the DP World Tour's Betfred British Masters. Fang led 2 up with three holes to play before Tiernan buried consecutive birdie putts to tie the match heading into the 36th hole. That's when Fang, hitting his approach shot first, floated an iron to the front part of the green and watched as it released to about 5 feet left of the flag. Tiernan's approach found the far side of the green, and he nearly jarred the birdie look, but when he didn't make it, Fang bounced back and clinched the match, becoming the 22nd American to win the British Am. Another important milestone for Fang is that he has virtually locked up his spot on the U.S. Walker Cup team, as if there was any doubt for the No. 7 amateur in the world. Last month, he went 2-1 in match play to help the Cowboys win their 12th national championship in school history. Now he has one of the biggest amateur events in the world, and by summer's end will join Jackson Koivun, Ben James and Michael La Sasso donning the red, white and blue at Cypress Point in September.

Ravens stars host second annual youth football camp in Nigeria

Odafe Oweh and Nnamdi Madubuike are growing the great game of football by hosting a football camp in Lagos. As easy as it is to love the NBA and Major League Baseball, there's just something about the NFL and this beautiful game of American football. It's our game. These are our Baltimore Ravens, but over the years, there has been an obvious attempt to expand the National Football League's viewing audience. NFL games have been played in London, Mexico, Germany, Brazil, Dublin, and Melbourne. Hopefully, games will be played in Africa at some point. Where would this game be without the contributions of both stars and legends who hailed from the Mother Continent or were of African descent? There are too many to name, but guys like Christian Okoye, Ezekiel "Ziggy" Ansah, Emmanuel Ogbah, and Tamba Hali come to mind. So do Ravens stars Odafe Oweh and Nnamdi Madubuike. The latter two have joined forces to help grow the game and maybe mentor some of its future stars. Odafe Oweh and Nnamdi Madubuike host a youth football camp in Lagos OTAs and Ravens mandatory minicamp are in our rearview mirror. The guys are taking a break before they tackle training camp. Oweh and Madubuike headed to Lagos, where they are hosting a second annual youth football camp. There are so many great things that can be said about this, but perhaps the best compliment that Oweh and Madubuike can be given is a 'thank you'. This is awesome and should be celebrated. Most of us found success because someone believed in us. Someone invested a little extra time, and that made a world of difference. That's what two great Ravens are doing. Here's a tip of the cap. Maybe there isn't another Odafe Oweh or Nnamdi Madubuike in the bunch, but there might be. There might also be some future doctors or lawyers. Whatever they choose to do in life, something can be guaranteed. Some of the kids in this mixture will one day credit this for helping them find their confidence. That should put a smile on all of our faces.

Nick Kyrgios takes dig at BBC and his potential on-air replacement: ‘Their loss more than mine'

Nick Kyrgios is apparently competitive on and off the tennis court. In an interview with The Guardian, Kyrgios ripped the BBC for not bringing him back as a commentator during this year's Wimbledon, taking a dig at his replacement in the process. 'I know I'm a great commentator,' Kyrgios said. 'All I've done for 20 years is play, study and breathe this sport. I also think tennis needs commentators who say things that not everyone says. 'It's unfortunate but it's probably their loss more than mine,' he continued. 'I understand they've got Chris Eubanks but he hasn't beaten the greatest of all time multiple times. When someone's beaten Federer, Nadal, Murray and Djokovic and has incredible insights, it's very strange you wouldn't want that person adding knowledge to tennis fans. Eubanks, an American tennis player who is ranked No. 108 in the world, has not been officially named by the network as part of their Wimbledon coverage. The Australian Kyrgios was on BBC's airwaves in London during last year's Wimbledon after he sat out due to a wrist injury. The network faced significant blowback for hiring Kyrgios for their television coverage after he previously admitted to assaulting his ex-girlfriend. Getty Images Kyrgios, 30, has not played at Wimbledon since falling to Novak Djokovic in the 2022 final thanks to nagging injuries. He won't participate in this year's tournament after suffering yet another injury setback, this time a knee problem. 'Unfortunately, I won't make it back for grass season this year,' Kyrgios shared in an Instagram story earlier this month. 'This is just a bump in the road… I'm already working hard to get back stronger.'
