Kerala sex racket case: policemen granted bail- revised
The two policemen who were arrested from Thamarassery on Tuesday (June 17, 2025) for their alleged links with a sex racket, have been granted bail.
K.Shaijith and K.Sanith, both drivers in the police force, were arraigned along with 10 others, including six women, in the case in which a suspected sex racket was busted at a rented facility at Malapparamba earlier this month. They had been absconding and could not be traced for days despite inspections by the police with the help of the Cyber Cell.
Sanith had evaded the police during the raid at the residence of a political leader on Monday. The police arrested the duo based on the information provided by the leader.
Following the arrest, the two were being questioned.
Shaijith and Sanith were suspended by the District Police Chief (Kozhikode City) a few days ago based on an internal inquiry and digital evidence.
The chargesheet submitted by the Nadakkavu police states that the two were closely associated with a woman who is suspected to be a major link in the racket and that they used to supply clients to her.

Bhilwara: The Bhilwara DST, cyber, and sadar police station conducted a joint operation Friday, arresting five persons involved in creating betting IDs on an online website for gambling in the Sadar police station area. Consequently, both were arrested along with their associates, Manish Bhadada (49), Deepak Bhadada (45), and Bhagwati Lal Jat (35), and they are being questioned. SP Dharmendra Singh Yadav said that a transaction of Rs 90 lakh was discovered from the five arrested related to online gaming and betting. Their bank details, communication records, and property lists are being examined, and action under section 107 of BNS is being taken. The arrested individuals have connections abroad, involving money laundering, drug financing, and links with loan sharks. It is suspected that their activities might extend to terrorist activities, and a thorough investigation is underway.

FIR filed after Noida private hospital gets mail with bomb threat
Noida: An investigation was launched on Tuesday after a private hospital in Sector 71 received a bomb threat over the weekend. A case was registered at Phase 3 police station and Cyber Cell officials have been roped in to help with the investigation. On Saturday (June 14), Kailash Hospital's medical superintendent Dr Rajesh Parashar lodged a complaint alleging a mail was received on the hospital's email ID around 4.52pm, threatening to blow up the hospital with a bomb, police said. The sender's ID was divijpprabhakaralashmi@ Following the protocol, the hospital management approached the police. Police later filed a case under BNS Section 351(4) (criminal intimidation) . According to police, the email could be the work of a miscreant, but complete details will reveal the motive behind it. In Feb, five schools received such threatening messages via anonymous emails. It was later found that a school student sent the mails to four of these institutions.
