Musetti has enjoyed a fine clay court season. A Monte Carlo Masters finalist, losing to Alcaraz, the Italian has found a consistency and calmness to his flowy, showy strokes. The 23-year-old has already knocked out Holger Rune and Frances Tiafoe, but was arguably lucky to still be in the tournament after kicking a ball that accidentally hit a line judge against the the American. According to the rules, he should have been defaulted, but received only a code violation. He has the game to do some damage.
No player has won more tournaments in 2025 than Alcaraz, but the second-seeded Spaniard has been inconsistent in reaching the last four at Roland Garros. He dropped sets against unheralded Fabian Marozsan and Damir Dzumhur but in beating Tommy Paul for the loss of just five games in the last eight, the 22-year-old seemed to be back to his bludgeoning best. Alcaraz leads the head-to-head record 4-1, having won the past four meetings, and will start as favorite.
Musetti is arguably lucky to be here after accidentally kicking a ball at a line judge in his quarter-final win over Frances Tiafoe, an offense that usually results in disqualification. He'll want to take advantage of his second chance against Alcaraz.
The winner will face Jannik Sinner or Novak Djokovic in the final. Tune in to find out who it'll be. The players are making their way to Court Philippe Chatrier now, so get ready to enjoy a potential classic.

Liverpool offered WORLD-CLASS striker
Liverpool offered Victor Osimhen Reports in Italy claim Liverpool have been offered Victor Osimhen. Not simply told they can have him, either - the deal has been laid out. Journalist Valter Di Maggio makes the claim, talking to Radio Kiss Kiss (as related by Area Napoli). Advertisement 'The English club wants Osimhen and Napoli from this point of view does not make any discounts on the clause, therefore asking for €75m as per the contract," says Di Maggio. 'The sporting director of the Neapolitan club, Giovanni Manna, has tried to ask for information for the two Reds forwards, namely Darwin Nunez and the Italian former Juventus player Federico Chiesa. 'Liverpool would have opened up to Napoli by proposing an equal exchange between the players involved in this operation. 'Aurelio De Laurentiis, however, has other ideas and is not listening: the president of the blue club is asking for Chiesa, Nunez and €20m for Osimhen's registration.' Advertisement So there's the twist here. In order to sign Osimhen, Liverpool must give them Chiesa, Nunez and around £17m. Which is an awful lot. At the same time, any money from Chiesa and Nunez would almost certainly go to fund a striker. The hope would be that their combined wages paid for the new forward's salary, too. Liverpool, then, have some thinking to do. Osimhen would now be the easiest deal to complete as they're already in talks with Napoli. But is he the one? We're not so sure. Liverpool would kick themselves if they completed this one and then found out Newcastle United were willing to sell Isak.

Minjee Lee wins Women's PGA Championship for third major title
Minjee Lee of Australia poses with the trophy after winning the Women's PGA Championship in Frisco, Texas (Sam Hodde) Australian Minjee Lee fired a gritty two-over-par 74 to win the Women's PGA Championship on Sunday, capturing her third major title by three strokes on another demanding day in Frisco, Texas. The 29-year-old from Perth added the title to her 2021 Evian Championship and the US Women's Open title she won in 2022, finishing with a four-under-par total of 284. Advertisement American Auston Kim and Thailand's Chanettee Wannasaen tied for second on on one-under 287. "A lot of patience out there today," said Lee, who started the day with a four-shot lead after a brilliant, bogey-free round on Saturday but had three bogeys in her first six holes. "I just felt like some shots were going my way and some shots weren't," Lee said. "I just said stick to my game plan. It was a battle against myself pretty much, especially with how tough the conditions were this whole week -- not just today, just amplified today because it's a major Sunday." Lee made her first birdie of the day at the par-five ninth, where she missed the green but chipped to two feet. Advertisement She gave a stroke back at the 10th, but after rolling in a tense nine-foot putt for par at 13 she drilled a nine-footer for birdie at the 14th to boost her lead back to three strokes. She added a birdie at 15, holing a five-and-a-half-foot putt, remaining in control from there despite a last bogey at 16. Through it all, Lee said, she was keeping an eye on her nearest rivals while trying to maintain her focus on another hot, wind-whipped day at Fields Ranch East in Frisco, north of Dallas. "Pretty much I saw every single leaderboard and I knew exactly where I was pretty much all of today," she said. "I just tried to check the scores and then I just come back to each shot and try and execute it the best that I could. Advertisement "I really played within myself today." Kim, a 24-year-old American ranked 98th in the world and seeking a first LPGA victory, applied as much pressure as she could. After a birdie at the par-five first she strung together three birdies in a row at the seventh, eighth and ninth -- landing her tee shot at the par-three eighth a foot from the pin. - Hard course - "I just wanted to charge and get as close as I could to the top," said Kim, who posted her best finish in a major. Prior to this tournament, she'd missed more major cuts (five) than she had made (four). "I knew that the course is hard. I just played my percentages and tried to capitalize on good shots today." Advertisement Chanattee seized her share of second with a 68 highlighted by an eagle at 15, where she found the green with her tee shot and rolled in a 14-foot putt. World number two Jeeno Thitikul, who led after each of the first two rounds and started the day in solo second four behind Lee, was never able to get much going. She closed with a three-over-par 75 that left her tied for fourth on one-over 289 with Japan's Chisato Iwai, who carded a one-under 71. The grueling conditions all week took a toll on some of the game's top names. World number three Lydia Ko, who started her week with a four-over 75, carded a one-under 71 on Sunday to finish in a group sharing 12th on 293. World number one Nelly Korda fired a final-round 76 for a share of 19th on 294 and world number four Yin Ruoning was in a group on 295 after a closing 76. bb/rcw

Alcaraz beats Lehecka in Queen's Club final ahead of Wimbledon defense
LONDON — Carlos Alcaraz showed he will be the man to beat at Wimbledon again after defeating Jiri Lehecka in the final at Queen's Club on Sunday. The top-seeded Spaniard replicated his debut triumph on the grass courts of west London in 2023 with a 7-5, 6-7 (5), 6-2 victory. It was an 18th-straight match win for Alcaraz — in his fifth consecutive final — following his title successes in Rome and at the French Open. Lehecka had knocked out home hope Jack Draper on Saturday to become the first Czech finalist since Ivan Lendl won the title in 1990. The 23-year-old Lehecka played his part in a high-quality final with some huge serves and powerful ground strokes, forcing the match to a decider via a tiebreaker. But Alcaraz, the defending Wimbledon champion, did not face a single break point and slammed down 18 aces on his way to a 21st career title, and second at Queen's. Wimbledon starts June 30.
