Becky Vardy says 'I've been treated worse than a paedophile' as she pays Coleen
Rebekah Vardy says 'Ive been treated worse then a paedophile' in new interview
Rebekah Vardy says she was 'treated worse than a paedophile' over the Wagatha Christie court cases and Coleen Rooney allegations.
The wife of footballer Jamie Vardy says she is now moving on from her clash with Coleen Rooney and subsequent multimillion pound court case.
But speaking to Vanity Fair she insisted her treatment was unfair and she insisted that she 'got the raw end of that'.
'In fact, I think murderers and pedophiles have faced far less scrutiny than I did,' Vardy added.
When the court case took place a lot was made of the clothes Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney wore to court, with the majority of fashion experts judging Coleen to come out on top.
But Vardy insisted in the new interview she was not a typical wag when it came to clothes.
'I am polar opposite to what you would class as the typical WAG,' Vardy told Vanity Fair.
'I'm not bothered. I will go out head to toe in Zara where someone else's wife or girlfriend has to be head to toe in Prada.'
In May a judge said Vardy must pay more than £1.4m of Coleen Rooney's legal costs following their libel battle,
Coleen ran up a legal bill totalling more than £1.8m while successfully defending herself against
Mrs Vardy's High Court claim in 2022.
After Mrs Vardy lost the case, court documents showed she had been ordered to pay 90% of Coleen's costs.
Earlier on Tuesday, a specialist costs court was told that Vardy had agreed to pay £1.19m to Coleen, who was also asking for a further £315,000 in "assessment costs".
Costs judge Mark Whalan then said it was "reasonable and proportionate" for Vardy to pay her an additional £212,266. This took the total to just over £1.4m, including interest.
Coleen publicly accused someone using Vardy's Instagram account of leaking private information about her to the press.
Sparking headlines around the world for weeks, Coleen famously wrote on social media: 'It's ……….Rebekah Vardy's account.'
Vardy sued her for libel, but Mrs Justice Steyn found in July 2022 that the allegation was "substantially true".
The judge later ordered Mrs Vardy to pay 90% of Coleen's costs

Dear Coleen: 'Eaten up with guilt over sleeping with my brother's wife'
We haven't spoken a word about it since, but we have to see each other at family events and things are tense between us. My brother still has no idea that anything happened. Dear Coleen Recently, I went on a night out with my mates from work and the group included my brother's wife, who works alongside me in the same department. It was a great night and everyone was having a good time … until the shots arrived. I got chatting to my sister-in-law about life and then we moved on to discussing my brother and she admitted that she's fallen out of love with him. The conversation got really deep and personal, and sparks started to fly. Unfortunately, one thing led to another and I ended up in bed with her. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! We haven't spoken a word about it since, but we have to see each other at family events and things are tense between us. My brother still has no idea that anything happened. What should I do, should I tell my brother what I did? The guilt is killing me and I think it's probably up to me to come clean, as I know his wife won't say anything. What would be worse for him? I've recently come through a divorce, so I understand how hard it is and know how it affected me mentally. I'd appreciate your opinion. Coleen says Whichever way you look at it, this is a bad situation and what you did was pretty unforgivable, which you know because the guilt is eating you up. Being drunk is not an excuse and won't ease the pain. I can't tell you what to do – I can just help you to look at it from all angles, so you can think it over, but don't make any knee-jerk decisions. To be completely honest, I think if you tell your brother, your relationship is as good as over. Ask yourself what your motive is for telling him – is it just about you and getting rid of your guilt by handing the problem to him? It is hard to live with guilt, but sometimes when you've made a bad choice, you have to. I guess there's a chance his wife will pursue a divorce, as it's clear the marriage is in trouble and she's admitted she's not in love with him, so your problem might go away. You could leave it and pray it never comes out – the danger is, if your brother and his wife get into an argument and she wants to hurt him, she might blurt out that she slept with you. So, the next question is, can you trust her? It's less important for her to keep what happened a secret because she can walk away and move on, but your relationship with your brother will be left in ruins. You say you've never spoken to her about that night, but maybe it would be a good idea to have a conversation during a break at work about how you handle things going forward. It might make things less awkward when you have to see each other with the rest of the family and provide some sort of reassurance.

Ioan Gruffudd's wife Bianca Wallace reveals brutal reality of her pregnancy after his ex-Alice Evans shares reaction to their baby news: 'Some kind of torture'
's wife, Bianca Wallace, has shared a brutally honest account of her difficult pregnancy journey. The Australian actress, 32, who is expecting her first child with the Fantastic Four star, 51, took to Instagram to share a raw photo diary and series of emotional videos documenting what she described as 'some kind of torture' during her first trimester. 'Life lately… Some real moments, because no one needs to be as shocked as I was to find out how f**ked pregnancy actually is,' she wrote, alongside 13 images and videos detailing weeks of intense morning sickness and physical pain. In one confronting clip, Bianca is seen lying in bed with a heat pack, grimacing in pain as she describes how constant vomiting left her bedridden and unable to sleep. She revealed she vomited so violently she threw her back out for four days, and shared a snap of herself looking pale and drained after throwing up 67 times in one day. The Australian actress, 32, who is expecting her first child with the Fantastic Four star, 51, took to Instagram to share a raw photo diary and series of emotional videos documenting what she described as 'some kind of torture' during her first trimester In another photo, she is seen clutching a bowl of cornflakes - one of the only foods she could stomach for weeks. The post was both a personal confession and a public service announcement. She reassured others who may be experiencing similarly rough pregnancies, writing: 'You're not crazy! More often than not it isn't just nausea and "morning sickness". It IS sh*t and rough and f**ked and it IS ok to be honest about it!' Her pregnancy update comes just over a week after Bianca and Ioan announced they were expecting their first child together, posting a sweet black-and-white image of the actor kissing his wife's baby bump. 'Baby Gruffudd poppin' out to say hello!' they captioned the snap, which was met with an outpouring of love from fans and celebrity friends. But while the couple's news delighted many, it appeared to trigger a scathing response from Ioan's ex-wife Alice Evans, 55, who shared her own cryptic post following the announcement. Without naming the couple, Alice wrote: 'Some people like to go low. I can't. Not because I'm better. But because I have kids. This s**t is some kind of torture.' The post sparked speculation among fans that it was a veiled dig at her ex and his new wife, reigniting tensions from the pair's bitter public split. Ioan and Alice finalised their divorce in July 2023 but remain locked in a fiery legal battle over spousal and child support for their two daughters, Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11. Court documents have detailed years of alleged abuse, online harassment, and restraining orders. Bianca was previously granted a three-year domestic violence restraining order against Alice, with Ioan claiming his ex had embarked on a 'smear campaign' against them. Despite the drama, Ioan and Bianca have pressed on with their life together, sharing footage in April of their low-key wedding ceremony with the caption: 'Mr & Mrs Gruffudd. Marriage now, wedding later.' Ioan, who currently stars in Bad Boys: Ride or Die, which has grossed over $400 million globally, has denied Alice's claims that she and their children have been left destitute, saying he's paid over $400,000 more than required under their prenup. Meanwhile, Alice recently revealed she had been evicted from her Los Angeles home, later launching a GoFundMe campaign to help her find housing. 'Thanks to all of you, my girls and I and Emma [the family dog] have a roof over our heads,' she said in a recent update, thanking supporters for their donations. While Ioan and Bianca continue to navigate the highs and lows of pregnancy – and public scrutiny – the couple appear focused on their growing family, with Bianca finishing her post on a lighter note, sharing that her dog Bubba has become her 'protector' through it all. 'This week… Bubba's still taking his protector job very seriously,' she wrote, sharing an adorable image of the pup curled up next to her baby bump.

Kelsey Parker announces her baby has died
Parker revealed she was expecting her third child in January, and on Sunday shared an Instagram post with the news that her son was 'born sleeping'. She lost her husband, The Wanted star Tom Parker, in 2022 after he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, and the baby was her first with her new partner Will Lindsay. Parker, who is mother to Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, with the late singer, shared a poem on Instagram about the boy she was expecting, whom she and Lindsay had named Phoenix. 'For Phoenix, Born Sleeping, Forever Loved,' the poem began, with a caption: 'Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved.' A post shared by Kelsey Parker (@being_kelsey) After sharing the post, Parker also put up an Instagram story which read: 'Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heart-felt well wishes, I want to just say that I truly appreciate everything you are all going to say and share. 'But with the news being so raw, I would really like to ensure that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news. 'I love you all and thank you for your understanding and space. 'Love always, Kelsey, Will and The Parker Family.' Parker has previously spoken candidly about how trolls have made her feel guilty for having a new partner. She said in March: 'I'm always going to have guilt but what's so hard is that Tom's not here any more, so what do people want me to do? 'Our house was full of so much sadness but now it's full of happiness, the kids deserve that more than anything.' Following her husband's death, Parker has raised money for a brain tumour charity by organising annual charity football matches in his memory. The 34-year-old hosts a podcast with model Georgia Jones called Mum's the Word! where the pair share parenting advice with celebrity guests.
