Tarek El Moussa Gets Public Show of Support From Wife Heather and Ex Christina Haack After Las Vegas Battery Incident
HGTV star Tarek El Moussa made a very poignant return to social media in the hours after he was involved in a physical fight in Las Vegas—sharing an emotional tribute to his teenage daughter, Taylor, in a joint post with his wife, Heather, and his former spouse, Christina Haack.
The heartwarming post, featured a sweet image of the three 'Flip Off' stars posing alongside Taylor, 14—whom Tarek, 43, shares with Haack—as well as the former couple's second child, Brayden, 9.
In the caption, the El Moussas and Haack urged the the teenager to learn from their past 'mistakes,' noting that they hope their own struggles help to lead her to a 'brighter future.'
'Taylor we are so proud of you and so excited for you to head into the next stage of your life. Our beautiful, smart, incredible, bright light we all love and adore you,' it read.
'We hope all the mistakes you've watched us make throughout your life help to guide you to a brighter future…. love you baby. High school here we come!'
The post was shared just hours after it was reported that Tarek, who divorced Haack in 2018 and went on to wed Heather in 2021, had been involved in a physical altercation inside a Las Vegas resort.
According to E! News, Tarek received a citation for battery after he was involved in the June 5 incident, which unnamed sources told the outlet had come about because the HGTV star was 'protecting his elderly father.'
'On June 5, 2025, LVMPD officers responded to a battery incident in the 3300 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard,' the local police department said in a statement. 'Two males were involved in a physical altercation resulting in one being cited.'
It's understood that Heather, 37, was with her husband at the time of the incident, but that she played no role in the altercation, per TMZ.
Tarek has yet to issue a statement about the incident; however, Realtor.com® has contacted his spokesperson for comment.
The joint post that the home-flipping pro shared is the latest indication of the strengthening bond between Tarek and his former spouse, Haack—whose relationship faced a very rocky patch after their acrimonious divorce and subsequent custody battle.
However, after the duo signed on to appear together in their latest HGTV project, 'The Flip Off,' they went through a very public on-screen reconciliation, with Tarek offering his ex a great deal of support amid her breakup from Josh Hall.
Haack and Hall's split came shortly after filming on the show had begun and was documented in great detail throughout the series, which was originally meant to feature the couple going head to head in a renovation battle against Haack and Tarek.
However, after Haack and Hall announced that they had separated in July 2024, the latter was removed from the show.
In the first episode, Haack was seen asking Tarek to come over to her Newport Beach, CA, house so she could speak 'in private,' before telling him that she and Hall had 'officially split up.'
'Things with Josh have been bad for a long time. Not just kind of bad. Like, bad,' she told him. 'And the kids literally asked me to leave. They told me he's not nice to me.'
Weeks after the show began airing, Heather spoke exclusively to Realtor.com about the 'struggles' that she and Tarek had seen Haack and Hall going through, admitting that 'we kind of knew something was coming.'
'You definitely see some tension between them on camera and I would say like, after he left the show, [Christina] was much lighter. It seemed like she was happier and it made the show a lot more fun,' Heather explained. 'Whereas when he was involved, there was a lot more smack talking; and I know that she wasn't enjoying filming with him.'
She went on to voice her support for Haack's new beau, Christopher Larocca, revealing that she and Tarek had already been on several double dates with the couple.
'We've gone to dinner with them a couple of times, and he's come to some kid things, and I'd say, so far I like him. I have nothing negative to say about him, and she seems happy,' Heather shared.

Beloved Pakistani actress Ayesha Khan dead aged 76
Beloved Pakistani actress Ayesha Khan has died aged 76. The star's body was discovered days after her death in her apartment, with authorities confirming she was found in a state of advanced decomposition in her apartment in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi. It emerged on Saturday (21.06.25) local police had said the veteran actress had died at least a week earlier, with neighbours alerting her family only after detecting a strong odour from the residence. Tributes have poured in for the star, with actor Adnan Siddiqui saying in a statement: 'She was never loud, never needing to prove anything – her craft did all the talking. 'Her kindness, her elegance, her calm strength, all of it taught me so much, even when she wasn't trying to.' Ayesha's body was discovered on the night of 19 June, according to a spokesperson for the Gulshan-e-Iqbal police, but news of her passing is only now coming to light. The actress had been living alone for many years, having largely stepped away from the entertainment industry. Her children, police said, did not live nearby. Dr Summaiya Syed, a police surgeon at Jinnah Hospital, confirmed to local media that a post-mortem examination would not proceed until her son arrived. Preliminary assessments suggested Ayesha was in the bathroom when she died. Police have begun questioning neighbours and family members as part of their investigation. Ayesha was a celebrated figure in Pakistani television and film, known for her performances in acclaimed drama serials such as Akhri Chattan, Tipu Sultan: The Tiger Lord, Dehleez, Bol Meri Machli and Ek Aur Aasman. She also starred in Soteli Maamta, her most recent screen appearance, which aired on Hum TV in 2020. The actress was the elder sister of late TV star Khalida Riyasat. A versatile performer, Ayesha appeared in both comedic and dramatic roles and was frequently cast alongside actors Qazi Wajid and Talat Hussain. Her long-standing collaboration with these actors made her part of one of PTV's most loved on-screen ensembles. Tributes have poured in from across the entertainment industry. Hum TV, with whom Ayesha frequently worked, issued a statement saying: 'May her soul rest in peace. Our deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.' Adnan Siddiqui, 54, remembered his first encounter with Ayesha during the filming of Uroosa. 'She was my on-screen mother but brought a compassion reminiscent of a maternal figure,' he said in a post on Instagram – adding: 'She was an atmosphere. And her absence will be deeply felt.' Actor Khaled Anam paid tribute to the actress's prolific career by posting a photo of her face and writing: 'With profound sadness, we share the news of legendary Pakistani actress Ayesha Khan passing away this June 2025. 'For decades, she graced our screens with iconic roles in Afshan, Aroosa, Family 93, Mehndi, Naqab Zan, Bharosa Pyar Tera, Bisaat e Dil.'
