
QIB announces new millionaire of the Misk account

Qatar Islamic Bank has announced the latest millionaire winner as part of the 8th edition of its Misk Savings Account, reinforcing its commitment to promoting financial responsibility and rewarding its customers' saving efforts.
Rashid Taleb AlMarri was announced the newest Misk Millionaire during a draw conducted under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and QIB representatives. To mark the occasion, the winner was hosted at QIB's headquarters with his son to receive the QAR 1 million grand prize.
The 8th edition of QIB's Misk Account features the largest prize pool in Qatar, totalling QAR 17.4 million. This edition will reward 858 customers with exciting prizes, offering more opportunities to win than ever before. The number of grand prize winners of QAR 1 million has increased from 4 to 6, with the millionaire's draw now scheduled every two months. Additionally, the number of monthly winners of the QAR 50,000 prize has risen from 4 to 6, while 15 customers will continue to win QAR 10,000 each on a weekly basis.Commenting on the win, Rashid Taleb AlMarri said: 'Winning the Misk Account is truly a blessing. The Misk Account has encouraged me to save consistently, and this reward is a proof that commitment pays off. I am pleased to announce that I will be donating part of the prize, and I am thankful to QIB for offering customers such meaningful opportunities. Customers will receive a free debit card, become eligible to request a free, for the first-year, credit card against their Misk Account balance, receive profits on their savings, and have the chance to frequently win cash prizes.

Through a suite of tailored, Shari'a-compliant digital solutions including digital onboarding, Corporate Internet Banking, the QIB Corporate App, and co-branded credit cards with Ooredoo QIB has simplified business banking. The Bank also offers a comprehensive range of payment services such as POS terminals, Payment Gateway, and QIB SoftPOS App, empowering SMEs to manage finances, improve liquidity, and scale sustainably. Qatar strengthens economic ties with France at Vision Golfe forum
Tribune News Network Doha Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry HE Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammed Al-Sayed participated in the 'Vision Golfe' forum held in Paris from 17 to 18 June 2025. The forum brought together ministers, senior officials, decision-makers and industry experts from the Gulf Cooperation Council states and the French Republic. The State of Qatar's participation reflects growing bilateral relations with France, and underscores the importance of constructive economic dialogue on regional and global issues of shared interest. In his remarks at the forum, the Minister of State stated that the forum represents a vital platform for reinforcing Gulf–French relations and expanding economic and trade cooperation, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, supply chains, global trade, and sustainable development. The Minister of State stressed that the State of Qatar stands as a key strategic partner within the framework of GCC–France cooperation, retaining strong bilateral ties with France focused on advancing mutual development and prosperity. He pointed to the notable growth in economic relations, stating that trade exchange between Qatar and France reached approximately QAR 11 billion over the past five years, with 574 French companies currently operating from Qatar— further bolstering the economic partnership. QIIB names prize winners of ‘Joud' savings account's May 2025 draw
Tribune News Network Doha QIIB has announced the 10 lucky winners of the monthly prizes for its 'Joud' savings account, a unique product that offers customers opportunities to win a variety of cash prizes throughout the year, including monthly, quarterly, and annual draws, with a grand prize of QR1 million. The May 2025 prize draw took place at the QIIB headquarters, in the presence of senior bank officials and a representative from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The winners of the QR10,000 prizes for the May 2025 draw are Rabie Kamal Ghanem, Abdulla Hussain Al Darwish, Mahmoud Fouad Dalloul, Khalid Hassan Alyafei, Luqman Ghulamsaddique, Rasha Adnan Alhasan, Ibrahim Ali Alsubaie, Reem Khalifa Al Maadeed, Reem Hassan Aldarwish, and Hamad Jaber Al Braidi. Among the most attractive features is the chance to win significant cash prizes.
