QIIB has announced the 10 lucky winners of the monthly prizes for its 'Joud' savings account, a unique product that offers customers opportunities to win a variety of cash prizes throughout the year, including monthly, quarterly, and annual draws, with a grand prize of QR1 million.
The May 2025 prize draw took place at the QIIB headquarters, in the presence of senior bank officials and a representative from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The winners of the QR10,000 prizes for the May 2025 draw are Rabie Kamal Ghanem, Abdulla Hussain Al Darwish, Mahmoud Fouad Dalloul, Khalid Hassan Alyafei, Luqman Ghulamsaddique, Rasha Adnan Alhasan, Ibrahim Ali Alsubaie, Reem Khalifa Al Maadeed, Reem Hassan Aldarwish, and Hamad Jaber Al Braidi.
It is important to emphasise that the 'Joud' savings account stands out as a competitive product, offering a wide range of benefits to QIIB customers. Among the most attractive features is the chance to win significant cash prizes.

MoCI recalls Mercedes G-Class 2024 model
Tribune News Network Doha The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in cooperation with Nasser Bin Khaled and Sons Automobiles—the authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership in Qatar—has announced the recall of the 2024 Mercedes G-Class model. The recall has been initiated due to an issue with the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) software control unit, which does not align with the current series production configuration. As a result, the engine indicator light may fail to display as intended in the event of an independent hardware fault within the ESP system.

Real estate trading volume surpasses QR1 bn in week
QNA Doha Real estate trading in Qatar exceeded QR1 billion during the week of June 1–5, according to data released by the Ministry of Justice's Real Estate Registration Department. The total value of sales contracts registered during this period reached QR911,760,894. In addition, sales contracts for residential units alone amounted to QR99,348,178, bringing the combined value to more than QR1 billion. The department's weekly real estate bulletin indicated that the transactions included a diverse range of properties such as vacant lands, residential homes, apartment buildings, commercial buildings, shops, and residential units. Sales activity was notably concentrated in the municipalities of Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Al Dhaayen, Umm Salal, Al Khor and Al Dhakira, Al Shamal, and Al Shahania. Key locations such as The Pearl, Lusail 69, Ghar Thuaileb, and Legtaifiya also featured prominently in the trading activity.
