Jennifer Garner Shouts Out Ben Affleck In Sweet Father's Day Post
Jennifer Garner paid tribute to Ben Affleck in a short but sweet post for Father's Day on Sunday.
The two, who were married for 10 years, share three teenage children together: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and a son named Samuel, who is 13.
Garner posted a photo of Affleck snuggling with one of their children on his chest, writing 'Happy Father's Day to 3 people's favorite landing spot.'
Garner also paid tribute to her late father, William Garner, who died last year.
'Being fathered by someone who loves being a dad is a gift; my sisters and I know this love and (lucky for us) all of our kids do, too,' she wrote, alongside a video of Garner and her dad walking together in coordinating overall looks.
'Happy Father's Day to the Dads, no matter where you are. To the uncles and grandfathers and father figures, too,' she added. 'We love you.'
Affleck appeared to celebrate Mother's Day with Garner back in May, as 'The Accountant 2' actor was photographed arriving at his ex-wife's house on the holiday.
He has also paid tribute to Garner before on Mother's Day, and gushed over her parenting skills in a sweet Instagram post.
'So happy to share these kids with you. Luckiest parents in the world. Thanks for all the good you do,' he said, in a since-deleted post in 2021. 'Happy Mother's Day. Love, their Dad.'
Garner and Affleck were married from 2005 to 2015, when they announced their separation. Their divorce was finalized three years later in October 2018.
Despite their split, the couple have remained great friends and committed co-parents to their three kids.
'I'm really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids' mom, who's wonderful and great and we work together well,' Affleck said in an interview with GQ, published earlier this year.
Affleck has often reiterated how 'lucky' he is to share kids with Garner.
'I'm very grateful and respectful of her,' he told People magazine in 2020. 'Our marriage didn't work, and that's difficult. Both of us really believe that it's important for kids to see their parents respect one another and get along, whether they're together or not.'
