A bomb threat written on a toilet paper was discovered inside a Cebu Pacific plane at Zamboanga International Airport on Saturday.
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said at 8:20 a.m. a cabin crew member performing a routine inspection after passenger disembarkation saw a tissue note inside one of the aircraft's lavatories bearing the message 'may bomba' (there is a bomb).
The flight attendant immediately reported the matter to ground security personnel, who then conducted a thorough inspection of the aircraft.
No explosives were found.
''By 8:59 a.m., the situation was declared under control, and normal operations at Zamboanga International Airport resumed. All passengers were cleared for boarding, and flight activities continued without further disruption,'' CAAP said.
