Houthis vow deeper strikes into Israel in retaliation for regional attacks
Shafaq News/ Yemen plans to escalate its military campaign in response to Israeli operations across the region, a senior figure aligned with the Houthis (Ansarallah) revealed on Saturday.
Adel Rajeh, a member of the Justice and Development Party's Central Committee, told Shafaq News that Yemen remains the 'most active front supporting Gaza,' frequently launching missiles and drones toward Israeli targets.
'More advanced weapons will soon strike deeper inside Israeli territory in retaliation for attacks on Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, and Syria,' Rajeh warned.
He said that Sanaa has partially imposed an aerial and naval blockade on Israel, complicating its defense strategy, adding that Israeli warships targeted Yemeni ports to disrupt Houthi drone operations.
Rajeh acknowledged a 'temporary lull' from other Iran-aligned factions such as Hezbollah and Iraqi factions but asserted they remain active and will soon take more visible action.
'Yemen will play a pivotal role in delivering precise and impactful strikes against the Zionist entity [Israel] using advanced systems,' he declared, positioning the country as a key force in the regional conflict with Israel.

Israeli strikes in central Iran kills 9 Revolutionary Guards
Tehran – At least nine members of the Revolutionary Guards were killed Sunday in Israeli attacks on central Iran, local media reported, as fighting between the two foes continued. Muslim countries demand end to Israel's aggression against Iran
Istanbul – Foreign ministers from countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Sunday urged Israel to end its 'aggression' towards Iran, without mentioning the US strikes on the Islamic republic's nuclear sites. Arch-rivals Israel and Iran have been at war since June 13 when Israel, claiming Tehran was on the verge of acquiring a nuclear bomb, launched a wave of devastating air strikes, killing top army commanders and scientists. Iran immediately retaliated, and the two sides have been trading barrages since. The ministers 'condemn firmly the aggression of Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran, stress the urgent need to stop Israeli attacks and their great concern regarding this dangerous escalation', said an OIC statement It was published at the end of a OIC meeting in Istanbul this weekend. Founded in 1969, the 57-member OIC sees its role as protecting the interests of the Muslim world and increasing Muslim solidarity.
