
Alberta senior dies on Highway 400
Police have identified a man killed in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 400 in McDougall Township.
Police say a 65-year-old Edmonton, AB man died in the collision in West Parry Sound at around noon on Tuesday.
Highway 400 was closed for several hours as the Ontario Provincial Police's (OPP) North East Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (T.I.M.E.) team, the OPP's Technical Collision Investigator (TCI) and reconstructionist investigated the scene.
The Chief Coroner of Ontario - Ontario Forensic Pathology Service is assisting, and a post-mortem examination will be undertaken as soon as possible.
