Arnold Schwarzenegger fans shocked by Hollywood legend's comments about son's ‘weenie'
Arnold Schwarzenegger has left fans red-faced after getting candid with his son about filming nude scenes.
The legendary action star, 77, sat down with son Patrick, 31, for a wide-ranging interview that covered everything from nepotism, Terminator, and the drive to become the biggest star of all time.
Yet it's Arnie's comments about Patrick's full frontal scene in The White Lotus season 3 that have left fans aghast.
During the interview, which was part of Variety's Actors on Actors series, the Last Action Hero star admitted to being shocked by seeing his son's 'weenie' on TV.
'I couldn't believe [it],' he laughed. 'I said to myself, 'I'm watching your show, and I'm watching your butt sticking out there.' And all of a sudden, I see the weenie. What is going on here? This is crazy.'
Following the interview's publication, however, a number of the star's fans have taken to social media to say how uncomfortable it made them feel.
@Harrioson588 wrote on X, 'Absolutely weird and inappropriate. This should not even have been talked about privately, let alone on a public platform.'
Meanwhile, @Sassy_0x posted 'They are so wild and weird and creepy,' a feeling echoed by @MayanBronze, who claimed the interview was 'Sooo Creepy….Not funny!'
@livnerys, however, went one step further, claiming 'this whole family is weird tbh'.
Despite the backlash, there are those who saw the fun side in the pair's exchange. 'Arnold's just being a dad—hilarious and awkward in the best way,' wrote @xpert_growth on X. 'The weenie comment got me [crying with laughter emoji]'.
People on Reddit felt the same way with DefinitelytheNSA commenting, 'Watching this whole interview, it was really great to see those father-son moments. You can tell Arnold is really proud of how well his son is doing.'
SonofTreehorn added, 'Had no intention of listening to this entire interview. Ended up being a really great discussion that I couldn't turn off. You can feel the love and respect these two have for each other.'
Arnie's not the only one of Patrick's parents to let us know how they felt about that nude scene.
Patrick's mum, Maria Shriver, 69, laughed off the scene during an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show.
'People are like, 'Oh my God, you saw!' [and] I'm like, 'I give birth to him'. It's not such a, you know, I've seen him naked,' she explained. 'I've seen him naked since he was a baby.'
While his parents might be able to laugh off the shock, Patrick has admitted to being caught off guard by the 'extent' of his nakedness.
'I didn't know to what extent [there would be nakedness]. You do the auditions but you don't see the full script, so you don't have all the details, then they ask you, 'Are you comfortable with nudity?' when you sign on,' he told The Sunday Times.

Pixar film risks breaking devastating record despite being hailed 'dazzling'
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Pixar's latest offering Elio has wowed critics, but it looks set to make a devastating new record for the studio. The animated sci-fi film tells the story of 11-year-old boy Elio Solis (Yonas Kibreab) who dreams of being abducted by aliens after feeling out of place on Earth for so long. He is accidentally beamed up to the Communiverse, an organisation which has representatives from several galaxies, where he is mistakenly identified as Earth's ambassador. It currently holds an 85% rating on Rotten Tomatoes among critics, but it could become the lowest domestic debut ever for Pixar. Box office reports from Variety show the film grossed $9 million (£6,6M) on Friday across 3,750 locations. It has been predicted that this could mean Elio will fall well behind 2023's Elemental, the film which currently has the lowest domestic debut, at $29M (£21.5M) The critics' consensus for the film could not be further away from its low box office, reading: 'Catapulted by its theme of building self-esteem, Pixar's latest cosmic wonder Elio boasts a fanciful world of original creations to dazzling effect.' 'Elio is another knockout, a quiet but determined shooting star that earns its place in the galaxy,' Tribune News Service wrote. Movie Mom added: 'Pixar's latest has everything we love about Pixar, a heartwarming story with endless imagination, charm, and wisdom, about an endearing character and the fears and joys of being human.' Others, however, pointed out the predictability of Elio's plot, with saying: 'Schmaltzy yet sincere, Elio, the latest from Pixar, is as predictable as they come but as tender as they can get.' Paste Magazine added: 'As a story about children finding a place to belong, discovering their true sense of self and realizing that parents and parental figures love you even when they don't always understand you, Elio is a lovely, if not particularly original story.' The Daily Beast summarised: 'For all its overt '80s homages, there's something timeless about Elio. too. It may be mid-tier Pixar, but that's still likely to make it one of the better animated offerings of the year.' More Trending Speaking ahead of the film's release, Kibreab opened up to Screen Rant about learning he had scored the role of Elio alongside Zoe Saldana who voices Elio's aunt Olga. 'I love all the Pixar movies and I watched them all the time and I still do today. And just to be in one, in an original Pixar movie, is such a pinch-me moment,' he said. They both reflected on what they had learned from each other while filming, with Emilia Perez star Saldana revealing, 'He's been teaching me how to be Alpha and Gen Z,' learning everything about 'rizz' and Skibidi Toilet. Elio is in cinemas now Got a story? Mind-boggling photo of a messy room has a cat hidden in the carnage - can you find it in under 30 seconds?
An infuriating Reddit brain-teaser forced people to come face to face with one of life's age-old predicaments: finding something in a messy room. User Peach_Cartoon uploaded the photo to Reddit's r/ Find the Sniper thread, which challenges participants to find items hidden in plain sight. The photo prompts viewers to find the creator's cat hidden in a mountain of clothes, shoes, laundry and toys, piled in front of a pink closet. To make it even more difficult, the poster tells partakers to 'ignore my messy room', to most efficiently complete the task. The post, although it was labeled 'Easy,' had Reddit users stumped. Now, it's your turn. See if you can pull your focus away from the carnage and chaos of a messy room in order to find the photographer's adorable, but well hidden cat. Better yet, do it in 30 seconds or less. How did you do? Did you, like some Reddit commenters, get distracted by the messy room? No matter how much the poster pleaded you not to? 'I will not ignore the messy room. Gross,' said one commenter on the post. Or, were you, like others too distracted by the cat itself to remember your answer? 'None of my cats have ever opened their mouths like this one' 'WHY DOES HE LOOK SO SCARY,' another wrote. Best case scenario, you found yourself like one of the skilled online pros, and found the kitty without a hitch. 'Super easy...' 'I found the cat right away but only cuz on zoomed in on something else that I thought was the cat and the cat was behind it,' another poster said. In case you still haven't located it, take a look beneath the pink organizer hanging on the closet door. Then shift your eyes a little to the left. Hidden in the shadows behind a white bag, is the white, spotted cat. The feline appears to be making a shocked face, which attracted the attention of many of the participants. In reality, its owner says: 'She has a little black spot under her mouth so she looks perpetually surprised.'

Netflix 'nightmare' body-swap film with 'unforgivable' twist
It's What's Inside is a sci-fi horror that was released straight to streaming service Netflix in 2024 and has been causing quite a stir among fans of the genre This horror film has been making a splash in the genre, earning rave reviews from movie buffs on Rotten Tomatoes, despite it being the director's debut feature. It's What's Inside is an independent sci-fi horror penned and directed by Greg Jardin, starring a cast of up-and-coming actors, including Brittany O'Grady, best known for her role as Paula in The White Lotus. She forms part of an ensemble cast portraying a group of friends whose lives take a bizarre turn. One captivated viewer hailed the film as "absolute cinema." They wrote: "Truly a work of art. Anxiously waiting for another dose of this." The 2024 horror flick is peppered with dark humour as it delves into the dynamics among a group of old university mates reuniting for a wedding. The plot thickens when Forbes, played by David W Thompson, brings along a suitcase containing a peculiar device, reports the Mirror US. This enigmatic gadget allows them all to switch bodies, sparking off an exhilarating game. They decide to liven things up by guessing who is in whose body, but the fun quickly spirals out of control, leading to a stark division within the group. A viewer commented: "An EXTREMELY original take on the body swap trope. This has cult classic potential. The plot is original and engaging. The execution and cinematography are exactly what's needed. The acting is robust but fell slightly short of making this an easy five-star rating. I'd suggest this to anyone in the mood for a body-swap film with a few dark twists. It might even be something I revisit in the future." However, one aspect that many viewers agreed upon was the "big twist" at the end, or as some are referring to it, the "unforgivable" ending. One viewer said: "Don't completely love the ending unless there's a sequel on the horizon soon." Elaborating further, another somewhat disappointed viewer remarked: "The film is generally quite brilliant. A fantastic drama with a rather unique approach to body-swap films. But it has the worst ending I have ever seen in a film. Cut off just at the climax." The film was launched just last year in 2024 after its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and went directly onto the streaming platform. It garnered mostly positive reviews, with an overall score of 79% on the review platform Rotten Tomatoes, and many fans are eagerly awaiting a sequel following its shocking twist. If you're intrigued by less than two hours of dark humour and sci-fi frights, It's What's Inside is available to stream now on Netflix.
