Universal is positioning its Valentine's Day entry Colleen Hoover's Reminders of Him, in just the right place, moving the Vanessa Caswill directed movie from Feb. 13, 2026 to Feb. 6. That's ahead of another female skewing film for the frame, Warner Bros' Wuthering Heights starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi from filmmaker Emerald Fennell.
Reminders of Him stars Maika Monroe, Lauren Graham, Bradley Whitford, Lainey Wilson and Nicholas Duvernay. The source material was a No. 1 New York Times bestselling tome about motherhood, forgiveness and the power of one love to heal even the most shattered heart.

Hoover adapted her own novel with Lauren Levine. Pic is produced by Hoover and Levine for their production company, Heartbones Entertainment. Gina Matthews is producing through her Little Engine Productions. Robin Fisichella is executive producing.
First published in 2022, Reminders of Him has sold more than 6 million copies in the United States and has been translated into 45 languages. The feature take of Hoover's It Ends With Us was a surprise box office sensation last summer grossing over $351M and netting $207M after all global ancillaries and expenses. In the wake of the success of that Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively movie, Hollywood jumped on the Hoover bandwagon much like they did with authors such as Stephen King in the 1980s and John Grisham in the 1990s.
Reminders of Him will share the Feb. 6-8 weekend next year with the Angel Studios' comedy Solo Mio.
Left on Valentine's Day weekend with Wuthering Heights is an untitled NEON horror movie, the Sony Animation feature Goat and the Chris Hemsworth-Barry Keoghan Amazon MGM Studios movie Crime 101.

Rebel Wilson's 'Pitch Perfect 4' prediction makes Anna Camp giddy

We've got some aca-awesome news for "Pitch Perfect" fans: Rebel Wilson is practically warming up for a fourth chapter, as she's convinced there's more in store for the Bellas. Wilson told The Guardian that Universal is working on scripts for another verse in the song that is the "Pitch Perfect" franchise. 'You're basically announcing 'Pitch Perfect 4' will be happening … at some point," Anna Camp teases Wilson while promoting "Bride Hard" in an interview with USA TODAY. The action comedy (in theaters now) reunites the two "Pitch Perfect" stars. In 2017's "Pitch Perfect 3," the a cappella singing group − also comprised of Anna Kendrick, BrittanySnow and Hailee Steinfeld − reunited to perform at an overseas USO show. 'I don't know," Wilson tells USA TODAY. "I have a feeling it could shoot next year, but we'll see.' 'Oh, my God, I hope you're right!" an elated Camp responds. "That'd be exciting.' 'The fans have been so eager for it," Wilson says. "It's had such a great life on streaming platforms like Netflix. There's so many people around the world who are fans of these movies and want to see us, and we're all legit real-life friends. We all want to come back and do it. I guess it's just the question of the script.' The story is also key for Camp as well. 'If Kay Cannon (writes) up an amazing script," Camp says, "we'd all be there with bells on ready to sing our little hearts out.'

Sydney Sweeney Reacts to Leaked ‘Euphoria' Wedding Dress Photos: 'I Can't Confirm or Deny' Cassie Gets Married

The third season of Euphoria is underway, but Sydney Sweeney isn't dishing out too many details about her character Cassie's fate quite yet. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, on Thursday, the Echo Valley actress shared minuscule details about the upcoming season of the HBO Max series. However, Sweeney reacts to a leaked image of her on set in a wedding dress. Chu in Talks to Land at Amazon MGM When presented with the photo of herself in bridal attire on the set of Euphoria, Fallon asked Sweeney if her character gets married. 'Um,' Sweeney started. 'I can't confirm or deny.' Then, the Anyone but You star quipped, 'Who knows, that could be AI,' to which Fallon joked, 'No, it can't.' Sweeney did say she'd 'love to' dish the scoop on the scene 'next time when I [come back to the show and] can actually say everything.' Despite not being able to share details on her character's potential wedding, what fans speculate is with Jacob Elordi's Nate, the two-time Emmy nominee confirmed that 'Cassie is crazy' in season three and 'she's even worse' than seasons prior. This wasn't the first time Sweeney revealed that her character in Cassie would be 'crazier' than before. In a interview with Empire magazine, she said that season three of Euphoria was 'unhinged' while raving about her love for the role. 'I have such a spot in my heart for Cassie, and I hold her really close and dear. She is crazy. She makes so many mistakes. She's flawed on so many levels, but she does it all from a place of love. It could be a sad version of love, as well,' Sweeney said. 'It's so much fun to play a character that is as crazy as she is. Sam [Levinson] is such a brilliant filmmaker to work with, because I'll read something, then I'll call him, and I'm like, 'Let's go crazier.' And he's like, 'I'm all in.' And this season is unhinged.' Notably, Euphoria season two aired in early 2022. Production on the long-awaited third season picked up in January 2025, though it's unclear when the new installment will actually arrive on the streamer. Even if season three arrives in January 2026, as suspected, there will still have been four years between the most recent season, creating a demand for new episodes. James Gunn Says the 'Movie Industry Is Dying' Due to Films Being Made With Unfinished Scripts

James Gunn has a 'number-one reason' why he believes the 'movie industry is dying.' The filmmaker and co-head of DC Studios recently told Rolling Stone that a lot of the bad movies being released are due to production dates being set before scripts are completely finished. More from The Hollywood Reporter Rachel Brosnahan Says Actors Should "Stand By" Their Bad Superhero Movies Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios Order Adult Animation Series 'Mister Miracle' 'Superman' Final Trailer Shows David Corenswet "Doing Important Stuff" 'I do believe that the reason why the movie industry is dying is not because of people not wanting to see movies. It's not because of home screens getting so good,' Gunn said. 'The number-one reason is because people are making movies without a finished screenplay.' When Gunn took over at the helm of DC Studios with Peter Safran, he emphasized that superhero films under his guidance would not go into production until scripts were finalized. He even admitted that they 'just killed a project' due to that very reason. 'Everybody wanted to make the movie. It was greenlit, ready to go,' the Superman director said. 'The screenplay wasn't ready. And I couldn't do a movie where the screenplay's not good.' Gunn added, 'And we've been really lucky so far, because Supergirl's script was so fucking good off the bat. And then Lanterns came in, and the script was so fucking good. Clayface, same thing. So fucking good. So we have these scripts that we've been really lucky with or wise in our choices or whatever the combination is.' Not having a mandate from Warner Bros. to deliver a certain number of DC projects has also helped Gunn, as the Guardians of the Galaxy director believes Disney's previous mandate to increase Marvel films and TV shows 'killed them.' Disney CEO Bob Iger has since refocused Marvel on quality over quantity. 'We have to treat every project as if we're lucky,' Gunn explained. 'We don't have the mandate [at DC Studios] to have a certain amount of movies and TV shows every year. So we're going to put out everything that we think is of the highest quality. We're obviously going to do some good things and some not-so-good things, but hopefully on average everything will be as high-quality as possible. Nothing goes before there's a screenplay that I personally am happy with.'
