Meghan Markle's brand As Ever sells out in minutes but fans are skeptical
Some fans have accused the Duchess of playing the 'sold out' game with her products. Meghan Markle took to social media to share her delight as her As Ever products once again sold out in minutes. However, some fans are sceptical - with some suggesting the Duchess of Sussex is playing the 'sold out' game. In an Instagram story shared yesterday, Meghan could be seen telling her followers that she 'couldn't believe' that nearly all of her items had sold out - even the flower sprinkles which she said she knew would be a hit once again with customers. She said that her team at As Ever 'spent time' making sure they had enough stock for the new sale, so customers could get their hands on a new honey and an apricot spread. On top of this, the Duchess also did a restock of six items from her initial sale, which was said to 'fly off the shelves' two months ago. In the post, the mum of two said: "We spent so much time making sure we had so much more inventory. That's why we took the time and you guys are doing it again. We are nearly sold out on everything. '"And I can't believe it - even flower sprinkles which I knew would be the big one again. So that has more inventory than all of it and that is also about to sell out." While many fans may have been waiting in anticipation of the restock and new products, others were a bit more dubious about how quickly the stock was said to have sold out on Friday. On social media, one person said: "She is playing the 'sold out' game and thinking we are all stupid. You fool no one Meghan Markle." With a second person adding: "Wait the only new thing she dropped was the apricot spread. And it sold out after 20 mins. Meghan must think people are really stupid." A third user also commented: "Wow they have super small quantities. The apricot and tea already sold out." While fans noticed the new apricot spread and honey within yesterday's sale, those waiting for Meghan's new Napa Valley rose wine will need to wait until July 1 for it to be available. This rose is Meghan's first step into the wine market and the wine is said to be sourced up the west coast from her Montecito mansion in California. Described by her brand as having "soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality and a lasting finish", this "bespoke blend" is said to be launching just in time for some summer entertaining. In Meghan's first sale, she launched nine As Ever products, which included a raspberry spread that came in a keepsake packaging or in a normal jar, flower sprinkles, wildflower honey with honeycomb, a crepe mix, a shortbread cookie mix and three herbal teas - lemon ginger, peppermint and hibiscus. All of these products were said to have sold out in 45 minutes after their initial release. For the restock, the Duchess brought back the three herbal teas, the flower sprinkles, crepe mix and shortbread cookie mix. Before Friday's sale, Meghan said: "We are pleased to share that many favourites from our debut As Ever collection are back – and, we've added something new. We hope you find some special treats that bring extra joy to you and your loved ones."

Friends and Spider-Man actor Jack Betts dies at home aged 96
The actor, passed away in his sleep, at his home in Los Osos, California on Thursday. Jack starred in roles in Spiderman and Batman as well as featuring in much loved TV sitcoms. Hollywood icon Jack Betts known for roles in Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond and superhero epics has died aged 96, his nephew has announced. The actor, passed away in his sleep, at his home in Los Osos, California on Thursday. Jack starred in roles in Spiderman and Batman as well as featuring in much loved TV sitcoms. As the Mirror reports, actor shared a home with his Everybody Loves Raymond co-star Doris Roberts before her death in 2016. Jack was "best friends" with Doris and an Everybody Loves Raymond fan account paid tribute to the actor and confirmed that the pair were not married. Posting on Instagram, they said: "Doris Roberts was close friends with Jack Betts, who you will remember from the Cruising With Marie episode. He played Walter on the ship and was a big champion of Marie. "He passed yesterday at the age of 96. He has a very long list of credits. He was not Doris Roberts husband as has been reported elsewhere. He was a longtime friend of Doris' and we did see him with Doris at dinners and always enjoyed his company! This is a photo I took of Jack and Doris when he was visiting the set for the final episode." His death was announced to the Hollywood Reporter, as his nephew, Dean Sullivan, told the publication he had died in his sleep at home. Jack had some big credits to his name throughout an illustrious career. He played Tom in the Friends episode 'The One with Joey's New Brain'. Meanwhile, he also played businessman Henry Balkan in the 2002 hit movie, Spider-Man but his lengthy list of acting credits spans further than movies and television as he also played Dracula in Broadway during his incredibly successful acting career. Tributes have poured in from friends and fans of the star who shared their condolences following the sad news. One person said: "Years ago Jack played an evil character on One Live to Live!!! I loved him and was excited to see him on Cruising With Marie…" As another commented: "RIP to a legend. Jack Betts brought so much to the screen — from gritty westerns to comic book charm." A third added: "Jack Betts from One Life to Live who played Dr. Ivan Kipling has passed away at the age of 96. He will always be remembered for the storyline he had with Judith Light who played Karen Wolek." Jack was born in Miami in 1929 and went on to study theatre and appeared in a Broadway adaptation of William Shakespeare's Richard III. Despite becoming a star over the years for his TV appearances and films, Jack's films at that time did not air in the US or Canada which meant he found finding fame more difficult in those countries. Landing a string of Westerns at the time, Jack said Clint Eastwood was even his neighbour at one point. He told The Dev Show in 2021: "In the hotel next to mine was Clint Eastwood. He'd go up to his mountain and do his Western and I'd go up to my mountain and do my Western. But while his films had distribution all over the world, my films were distributed [everywhere] except Canada and America."

From June 26, Black Desert Online will be exclusive to Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Other game studios are gradually doing the same, as they put all their energy into the latest devices and shift away from the old. A couple of days ago, online shooter The First Descendant went dark on PS4 and Xbox One. In Black Desert Online's case, developers apparently made the decision due to hardware limitations that make it difficult to introduce new content smoothly. "We understand that this news may be disappointing for our longtime Adventurers on these platforms," makers Pearl Abyss said. "Please know that this decision was made after careful consideration, with the goal of ensuring the future growth and evolution of Black Desert Console. "We remain fully committed to delivering you the best possible adventures in Black Desert." So, if you don't currently own a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S you'll have to dig deep and buy a brand new console if you want to keep playing the game. However, for those who do own one, the upgraded game will be available at no extra cost. OTHER GAME CLOSURES COMING UP Here's what to watch out for...
