At the press conference, Honey Singh was asked if there was any possibility of rekindling his friendship with Badshah. His response was as candid as it was surprising. 'We were never friends,' Singh stated, calmly putting an end to years of speculation. 'We had a brotherhood, but not friendship.'
Singh revealed that the duo had worked together in the early stages of their careers. In fact, he was producing Badshah's first album back then, but the project never reached completion.
Despite that, Honey emphasised that there was mutual respect and a bond rooted in love — just not the kind of close friendship people assumed.
'So we cannot say there was friendship earlier, or whether it will be a friendship now. There was love earlier also and now as well,' he added, hinting that while professional collaborations may be off the table for now, there's no animosity either. 'We don't work together anymore and don't get time to meet, but love is with everyone.'
