Recently, the 41-year-old director shared about the creative process and the responsibility that comes with continuing a blockbuster spy franchise. Carrying forward a legacy As per an IANS report, Ayan said, "It is a huge responsibility to take forward a hugely loved franchise like 'War' and leave your own mark on it." The 'Brahmastra' director also mentioned that he sees 'War 2' as a "relishing opportunity to give a hat-tip to the first film." Building a story worthy of two superstars Ayan revealed that his biggest focus was developing an engaging storyline, one that would justify bringing together two of the biggest stars in Indian cinema. Kuberaa OTT and TV release date: When and where to watch Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna's socio-political thriller
The much-anticipated film, led by Dhanush , Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna , officially hit theatres today (June 20, 2025), and early reactions hint at a promising box office run. Directed by Shekar Kammula, Kuberaa is a high-stakes socio-political drama that pits ambition, power, and conscience against each other. Adding to the film's intensity is actor Jim Sarbh in a villainous role, alongside Dalip Tahil . On which OTT will Kuberaa release? With a production budget of Rs 120 crore, the film has reportedly recovered nearly half of its cost through OTT and satellite rights alone — with Amazon Prime Video and Star Maa bagging the digital and TV rights, respectively. About Kuberaa Interestingly, producer Suniel Narang claimed in an interview with Gulte that Amazon Prime Video had set strict conditions for the film's release.
