Katie Price's fury at exes who she blames for bankruptcy despite huge splurging
Former glamour model Katie Price, 47, believes that her tumultuous six years of financial woes are all down to one reason - the men in her life
Katie Price was declared bankrupt for a second time in March of this year, with a significant tax debt of over £750,000 cleared.
However, the former glamour model, 47, believes that her tumultuous six years of financial woes are all down to one reason - the men in her life.
Speaking back in March, she lashed out at her exes, claiming they "mentally abused her" and that she "wouldn't be tormented in [her] brain" if they hadn't been around. She said: "If men had not been in my life, I wouldn't be in the bankruptcy things that I've been in. I wouldn't be tormented in my brain or mentally abused like I have been."
Katie also revealed she believes she may have started glamour modelling due to the problems she has had with men. She told Elizabeth Day's How to Fail podcast: "Because it's like, you can look at me in a magazine but you cant touch me. I have therapy all because of men."
The mum-of-five added that she had PTSD, which she claimed was caused by men, but has now learned that 'opening up the lines of communication' is the 'best way forward'.
The Pricey has had a complicated love life, having been married three times and engaged four. After getting divorced from Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler, her latest break-up was with on/off fiancé, Carl Woods - before she moved on to her current partner, Married At First Sight star, JJ Slater.
Yet, Katie's love of plastic surgery has left fans concerned over the last decade - and not just because of the potential medical implications. She has had at least 16 boob jobs and most recently underwent surgery in a bid to have the 'largest boobs in Britain'. Katie is also an avid fan of fillers - having had injections in her lips and face to plump up her pout and smooth out her features.
Earlier this year, she showed off her new lips and new buttocks after having it plumped up. The costs of the tweaks were revealed, with the recent procedures pushing the amount she has spent changing her body to £130,000. In January, the Daily Mail claimed the star had spent £84,000 on changing the size of her breasts alone - while she has also had liposuction and Botox as well as other procedures.
Katie had work done with Life Aesthetics - a company which offers Brazilian bum lifts starting from £1,700. She also showed off the results of a Butterfly Lip injection - which reconstructed the shape of her lips so the top lip is puffed up and back to show off her teeth. The procedure costs from £550.
Last year, Katie went on many holidays and treated herself to tattoos and beach activities. She enjoyed a sunny getaway in Spain and also travelled to Thailand to top up her tap. She sometimes went with some of her children and even had her ex-fiancé Carl Woods tag along on several beachside getaways.
While she's at home in the UK, she's busy with her mansion and cars. Katie was banned from driving following an accident near her home in Sussex in September 2021. She flipped her car BMW X5 during the crash and was handed a 16-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, a two-year driving ban and 100 hours of community service after admitting to drink driving while disqualified and without insurance.
However, the ban was lifted early last year and she celebrated by treating herself to a set of new wheels, reportedly worth £50,000.
Katie - who is mum to son Harvey, 22, with Dwight Yorke, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with ex-husband Peter Andre, and son Jett, 11, and daughter Bunny, 10, from her third marriage to Kieran Hayler - also recently opened up about the astonishing amount she spends on her weekly food shop.
Opening up about her spending habits on her podcast The Katie Price Show, the proud mum said: "I do weekly shops, I spend about £500-£700 a week.
"Sometimes we all go [to the shops]. I hate it because I say to them, we all get a trolley each, and Princess and Ed fill theirs up whereas Junior and Jasmine are careful with what they put in. They look at the prices and stuff and I just put everything in."

Lauren Goodger's BBL surgery regret as she looks worlds away from TOWIE debut
Lauren Goodger says she's 'ruined her looks' and looks "abnormal" as she plans to ditch her implants, 15 years after rising to fame alongside Mark Wright on The Only Way Is Essex Fifteen years on from her first appearance on The Only Way Is Essex, Lauren Goodger looks dramatically different and she's the first to admit it. When the hit reality show launched back in 2010, Lauren was one of a group of unknowns who quickly found themselves thrust into the spotlight, with their glamorous lives in Brentwood playing out in front of the nation. Fast-forward to now, and Lauren, 38, has spoken candidly about the many cosmetic procedures she's undergone over the years – and the regrets that have come with them. The reality star, who returned to TOWIE last year, said: 'I've ruined my looks with surgery. I hate my fake boobs and bum now. I feel like my body looks abnormal. I don't need these massive boobs and massive bum.' She added: 'When I look at myself naked in the mirror, all I see are lumps and bumps everywhere.' Lauren shot to fame as part of TOWIE 's original line-up and quickly became a central figure thanks to her high-profile relationship with co-star Mark Wright, who is now married to Michelle Keegan and has welcomed their first child. After exiting the show in 2012 following her break-up, she made a short return in 2016 before deciding to rejoin the cast again last year, saying it felt like the right moment to step back into the public eye. Over the years, Lauren has openly discussed the many changes she's made to her appearance. Back in 2011, she revealed she had undergone a rhinoplasty to fix a broken nose following an accident. She then opted for breast augmentation surgery in 2013, boosting her cup size from 34D to 34E. But one of the most significant transformations came in 2017, when she travelled to Turkey for a Brazilian bum lift, an experience she revealed in 2023 she regrets and is looking for a way to reverse the procedure. Speaking honestly, she said: 'I'm not sure how I'm going to do that yet. I'm not sure if there is a procedure that can reverse the BBL. I'm looking into potentially getting the fat sucked out, but I don't know if that's an option. I'm going to speak to lots of different surgeons and figure out my options.' She went on to call the BBL 'the worst experience' of her life, explaining she now wants a more natural figure again but isn't certain how to achieve that. Lip fillers have also featured heavily in Lauren's beauty journey. In early 2023, she debuted the results of the 'butterfly effect' filler trend the same one favoured by Katie Price telling followers: 'I've just had the butterfly effect lip fillers by Lift Aesthetics, I've got the tape on at the minute so I'm talking really weird. 'I'm very swollen but literally a new technique, it's so amazing and I can't wait to see the results.' Despite her long-standing openness about treatments and enhancements, Lauren revealed that her battles with anxiety had previously stopped her from making more permanent changes. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she shared: 'I have suffered tremendous anxiety due to things I've been through which led me to being caffeine and alcohol free but also stopped me being able go abroad on holiday or have surgery or so minor treatments I've been so bad with anxiety…' 'But today I've spoke to the amazing @simonsmithsurgeon as I want to take the step to get my implants removed in my boobs… I do not want them I just need to get this done and I'm terrified but I know it's also much healthier for me and I don't need them anymore. I can't wait for my natural boobs back xxxx.' From Essex glam queen to a woman on a journey back to herself, Lauren Goodger is ready to leave the past behind one procedure at a time as she embraces her natural look.

Dame Deborah James' husband finds love again three years after her death
Campaigner Dame Deborah James died three years ago from bowel cancer. Dame Deborah James's widower, Sebastien Bowen, has been reported to be 'very much in love' as he is said to have found love again three years on from the campaiger's death. Dame Deborah tragically passed away in June 2022 after a battle with bowel cancer. Prior to her death, the podcaster was said to have encouraged her husband to 'move on' after her passing. Now three years later, it has been claimed that Sebastien has once again found love as he was seen with a mystery woman enjoying a date during the UK heatwave. Only at the age of 40 at the time of her death, Deborah had been battling an incurable form of bowel cancer and was very outspoken about her journey. While she raised millions for cancer research, she also did not hide the fact that she wanted her husband to move on when she was gone, reports the Mirror. Sebestien was reportedly seen last week to be walking along the River Thames in London hand in hand with a mystery woman. The couple was said to have dined at The River Cafe in Hammersmith, west London, as part of their day out. Seen to be wearing a casual blue shirt, a pair of chinos and trainers, Sebestien was certainly dressed to beat the heat as temperatures soared across the country. His new brunette partner was said to be wearing a striking red dress, perfect for the summer weather. A source told the Daily Mail: "They looked like they were very much in love." They also said the pair was seen to be gazing lovingly at each other as they walked with their arms wrapped around one another. They added: "It was very sweet. For anyone who was inspired by Dame Deborah's attitude to life, it was really heartening to see her husband looking happy again." It was reported last year that Sebestien had started to look for love again, but he was taking things "very slowly". An insider said: "Deborah is going to be a tough act to follow, as they had a fantastic marriage and made a great couple. But Seb feels the time has come for him to move on, as Deborah wanted him to." Known by millions on social media as Bowelbabe, Dame Deborah documented her cancer journey online and managed to raise over £11million for cancer research. As she was upfront and honest about her battle with the incurable disease, it was no surprise she gave the same honesty about wanting her husband to move on. Talking on the BBC Radio 5 Live show You, Me and The Big C, she described her husband as a "very eligible bachelor" and said she was aware that he would get attention from other women after her passing. She said: "I have given him strict instructions. I want him to move on. He's a handsome man, I'm like, 'Don't be taken for a ride, don't marry a bimbo, find someone else who can make you laugh like we did." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! However, while she was encouraging of her widower finding a new love, she also joked that she had a list of people she didn't want him to go on and date. If he did, she joked: "I would do my damned hardest to haunt him." Dame Deborah and Sebestien met in 2005 and went to get married three years later and have two kids. While it is tough for any family to lose a loved one, it seems that Sebestien has been blessed by both his wife and her family to move on. In 2023, Deborah's mum Heather said: "Deborah will be a hard act to follow but he has our blessing."

'I was on Married At First Sight and there is one key part I'd change'
EXCLUSIVE: Married At First Sight star Dave Hand has revealed how his edits didn't show the complete story and opened up on an issue he has with fellow cast members A Married At First Sight star has revealed the worst part about the show - and it wasn't the breakdown of his marriage. Despite exchanging vows and looking to be a strong couple, Dave Hand and Jamie Marinos' connection was short-lived. After cameras stopped rolling the duo called it quits and are no longer on speaking terms. But Dave exclusively told the Mirror he wishes nothing but the best for his ex - and wishes his co-stars would all be as amicable. He also revealed how the narrative for his story on the Australian version of the show wasn't exactly how things panned out. The tattooed star, 36, admits he wishes viewers had the chance to see how much he was struggling with his dad's health woes during filming. "I communicated that a few times on the couch," he confessed, revealing the scenes were cut from the show. "People just think I went from the partner swap to me not liking Jamie. There was a build up there. "I cried on the couch the week before because I was struggling so much, you know? Then, yeah, it was quite difficult for me as it just sort of made it out to look like I've changed overnight, which definitely wasn't the case." He added there were other instances of the final edit not showing exactly what happened, claiming the duo had also discussed calling time on their relationship and leaving earlier on. "It wasn't just a me thing. We both communicated that we were both struggling, but you have got to give it to us for giving it a crack and sticking it out." The 6'7" tradesman went on to call out the online taunts from other cast members towards each other. And it is this that he said was one of the worst parts from his experience. "We had cast members coming at other cast members online," he said, speaking of the show's aftermath. "Like, we didn't need to do that. I think that was quite childish, you know? I was affected by some of it and it's taken its toll. We should have been looking out for each other if anything. "I don't think we should have been taking the p*** out of each other. It was hard to watch, whether you got a good edit or a bad edit, it was still difficult." He went on to name Veronica as being someone who didn't have a good edit, saying she "copped it" in terms of online abuse. "I still feel sorry or the people who copped it from the whole public. Online social trolling and stuff like that needs to be stamped about and people need to be held accountable for it. "Just because I can put on a mask and not reply to these people or give them a reaction, doesn't mean I wasn't dealing with anything or that it wasn't affect me. That's what we have to be scared of as well, because people who suffer in silence, it does eat away at people. "People think they can say what they want and get away with it, and I don't think that should be the case at all." Despite the issues, Dave is still keen to show what he has to offer on-screen, with UK shows such as Celebrity Big Brother and I'm A Celebrity two options he'd be happy to explore. He is also interested in giving back to the community and helping others who may be struggling. "I'd love to get into the side of helping young males with their mental health. I think I'm very well experienced enough to talk and help younger kids, especially males. "Life is full of happiness and joy and these dark days are okay as well. They're going to be there. I think that the biggest message of all... You know, you can change what you're going through."
