The Red Devils remain interested in the 25-year-old, who scored five goals and provided two assists in 49 appearances across all competitions in 2024-25.
His convincing performances with La Dea even led to his senior debut for Brazil in June 2024.
Ederson joined Atalanta on a permanent transfer from Salernitana in 2022 for €22.9m.

Having more than one club interested in the player clearly goes in Atalanta's favour, as La Dea hopes for a bidding war for the talented midfielder.
Al-Hilal have been in talks with several Serie A stars over the last few days, including Milan's Theo Hernandez.
They have also sent an offer to Inter coach Simone Inzaghi, who will discuss his future in a meeting with Nerazzurri President Beppe Marotta today.

Inter Milan vs. Urawa Red Diamonds odds, predictions: FIFA Club World Cup picks, best bets Saturday
Gambling content 21+. The New York Post may receive an affiliate commission if you sign up through our links. Read our editorial standards for more information. We should get a pretty good idea of how seriously Inter Milan is taking the FIFA Club World Cup on Saturday. The Italians were not at their best in a 1-1 draw against Monterrey in their opening match, adding to concerns that Inter would have a tough time getting up for this tournament after a grueling season that saw them finish as runners-up in both Serie A and the Champions League. Inter had a two-week break before heading to North America for the Club World Cup after falling just short of a historic season, so it's not a shock they were stodgy in their tilt with Monterrey. Inter fell behind by one goal early, but clawed back into the match and secured a 1-1 draw. Saturday's match with Urawa Red Diamonds should be a walk in the park for La Beneamata on paper, but if Inter are disinterested, the Japanese side are a threat to pull off a stunner at Lumen Field in Seattle. Urawa were also uninspiring in their opening match, a 3-1 loss to River Plate, and they'll likely need to pull the upset to have any chance of moving on in this tournament. The Red Diamonds were the only team in Group E that didn't get a point, and they'll be underdogs again in their final match of Round 1 against Monterrey. Yann Sommer of Inter Milan during a break in play at the FIFA Club World Cup. IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters It's a massive ask, but Urawa have to go for this win. That should lead to a more aggressive approach from the Japanese side, which should leave them vulnerable to Inter's counterattack. Get the lowdown on the Best USA Sports Betting Sites and Apps And given how they defended against River Plate, that could lead to disaster. Nikolas Motta vs. Nazim Sadykhov prediction, pick, start time for UFC on ABC 8
Nikolas Motta and Nazim Sadykhov meet Saturday on the main card of UFC on ABC 8 at Baku Crystal Hall in Baku, Azerbaijan. Check out this quick breakdown of the matchup from MMA Junkie analyst Dan Tom. Last event: 5-1 UFC main cards, 2025: 57-44-1 Nikolas Motta vs. Nazim Sadykhov UFC Baku preview Motta (15-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC) enters his first fight of the year on the heels of back-to-back wins in 2024. Last January, he finished Tom Nolan in the first round, followed by a unanimous decision over Hayisaer Maheshate. The hard-hitting lightweight has finished 10 of his 15 victories by KO or TKO. ... Sadykhov (10-1-1 MMA, 3-0-1 UFC) has only suffered one defeat in his career, which came in 2018. Since then, he's gone unbeaten, winning 10 and drawing once – the only time he's reached the scorecards in the UFC. In his last outing in February, Sadykhov won a doctor's stoppage TKO over Ismael Bonfim. Nikolas Motta vs. Nazim Sadykhov UFC Baku expert pick, prediction Serving as a solid action fight at lightweight is a battle between Nazim Sadykhov and Nikolas Motta. Sadykhov, a savvy southpaw who has long been hailed as a prospect by the legendary Serra-Longo camp, has followed his stablemate Merab Dvalishvili to Las Vegas to train with coach John Wood and the Syndicate MMA crew. This change hasn't appeared to be drastic for Sadykhov, but the Azerbaijani native is one of many fighters on this card with a more deceptive resume than meets the eye. Aside from the fact that Sadykhov lost two rounds to Evan Elder and Viacheslav Borschev without having to suffer a single loss, the 31-year-old tends to find himself in deceptively close fights where either cuts or scorecards have arguably bailed him out. Motta, on the other hand, had a handful of bad performances early on in his UFC career that came amid a slew of camp changes and short-notice bookings that subsequently caused everyone from the bookmakers to the gamblers to continually disrespect his chances despite his recent results. Motta is still a kill-or-be-killed fighter for the most part, but the Brazilian has made some measurable improvements to his overall game since splitting his time between his home bases of Xtreme Couture MMA and Bangtao Muay Thai. Now, Motta appears to be in the best shape of his life, showing more tools at range and improved pacing and grappling. Motta also shows the style of leg kicks and shoveling body shots that previous Sadykhov opponents have found success with. Don't get me wrong: Sadykhov is the deserved favorite and no one should be shocked if he replicates the murder scenes that Manual Torres and Jim Miller made before him. That said, we can't ignore the fact that power is a potent two-way street, and Motta has way too much of it for Sadykhov to be this heavily favored with his fast-and-loose style. For that reason, I suspect that the southpaw killer that is Motta's left hook will be live for as long as this fight lasts. A decision win isn't totally out of the question, but I'll take an unpopular flier on Motta to shock the world by catching Sadykhov cold in round 1. Nikolas Motta vs. Nazim Sadykhov UFC Baku odds The oddsmakers and the public heavily favor the hometown fighter, listing Sadykhov -430 and Motta +320 via FanDuel. Nikolas Motta vs. Nazim Sadykhov UFC Baku start time, how to watch Motta and Sadykhov are expected to walk to the cage at approximately 3:40 p.m. ET. The fight broadcasts on ABC, ESPN and ESPN+.

Goalkeeper Changes Loom with United Tracking Serie A Stopper
Monaco Circle Onana as United Monitor Carnesecchi Goalkeeping Carousel in Motion As reported by DiMarzio, Monaco have made an enquiry for Manchester United's André Onana. While such a move might seem speculative from the Ligue 1 side, it may set in motion a more intriguing shift in the European goalkeeping landscape. Onana, once heralded as a transformational presence for United, has endured a turbulent time in Manchester. 'The 29-year-old goalkeeper owned by Manchester United' started 50 matches last season but was never far from the critics' gaze. Advertisement Ten Hag and his successor Ruben Amorim kept faith with the former Inter man, but results, especially the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham, continue to cast shadows. Photo IMAGO Red Devils' Italian Focus Should Onana depart Old Trafford, United's reported interest turns to Atalanta's Marco Carnesecchi, a name long admired in Serie A circles. As DiMarzio notes, 'the profile that Ruben Amorim's team likes the most is that of Marco Carnesecchi.' The 23-year-old has had a breakout season, featuring 44 times and notching up 18 clean sheets, guiding Atalanta to an impressive third-place finish and another shot at Champions League football. Advertisement Contacts have been made with the player's agent but not yet with Atalanta, 'who would hardly be able to let him go unless there were truly satisfactory offers.' Atalanta hold a strong position and know the value of a consistent performer in his prime. Spotlight on Carnesecchi Carnesecchi is no longer simply a 'keeper with potential. With Europe watching, the young Italian made headlines off the pitch too: 'while England is watching him with interest, the Atalanta goalkeeper got married today, Friday 20 June.' It's a moment of personal joy amidst serious professional intrigue. Changing of the Guard? Monaco's move for Onana may fizzle out, but the ripples could be felt far wider. United, no strangers to headline-grabbing transfers, may soon look to reset their backline, and Carnesecchi could be the man they believe in next. Our View – EPL Index If this move materialises, United fans can be genuinely excited. Onana has had his moments, sure, but consistency wasn't one of them. Too many lapses in judgement, erratic decisions, and questionable distribution left the fanbase wondering if the club got it right last summer. Advertisement Carnesecchi? He's got pedigree, presence, and promise. Eighteen clean sheets in a Serie A season tells its own story. He's not just a shot-stopper, he commands the box. United haven't had a presence like that since the prime David De Gea years. Of course, fans will be cautious. Atalanta won't budge easily. But if Onana does go to Monaco, which seems possible now that 'Monaco have made an enquiry,' then this is a rare chance for a smart bit of business. It's about more than talent now — it's about mentality and leadership. Carnesecchi looks to have both, and fans will rightly be optimistic that United, after some erratic years in the transfer market, are finally targeting stability in the right way.
