A startling and unusual incident of a snake hiding in a vehicle's dashboard has gone viral on the social media platforms worldwide. American technology expert Simon Sarris posted that the surreal experience involved a snake sticking out of his Mazda's air-conditioning vent.
His images and witty remarks went viral, eliciting a range of laughter, incredulity, and horror from users. Whereas the snake's surprise visit entertained some people, others confessed that it created a new phobia of concealed reptiles in automobiles.
This unlikely encounter is a stark reminder of nature's ability to trespass across the boundaries of contemporary life. Automobiles icons of human innovation and personal territory, are not beyond the instincts of wildlife that are looking for refuge, warmth, or protection.
Snake surprises US driver by peeking out from Mazda dashboard
Simon Sarris went on X (formerly Twitter) to record what could only be termed a surreal experience: a snake had slithered into his luxury Mazda and was seen looking out through the air-conditioning vent. The photo he posted revealed the reptile's head protruding as if peeking around from the dashboard.
Sarris captioned the photo with humour, "The snake that resides in my Mazda is giving me saucy looks this morning," inferring that the creature had taken residence.
In a second post, he included, "Twenty minutes of Enya and his mood is unchanged," suggesting that even calming music hadn't persuaded the reptile to vacate.

The post soon went viral, getting millions of views and prompting a wave of responses from readers. While some laughed at the absurdity of the incident and Sarris' collectedness, others were actually disturbed. Some users advised Sarris to sell the car, while others admitted they'd never be able to get into their vehicle again without checking every nook and cranny. 'You've just unlocked a new fear,' one user commented, reflecting the widespread sense of discomfort.

Even Mazda USA was a part of the banter on the Internet. For Sarris' singing attempts, they playfully invited,
"Try Beyoncé, he looks like a diva,"
injecting a dash of humour into the corporate account's conversation.

Musk makes big move amid rift with Trump, decides to open…, India set to benefit due to….

Earlier this month, Elon Musk's Starlink received a licence from the telecom department for providing satellite internet services in India, a key milestone that will take it closer towards launching commercial operations in the country. COO of Elon Musk's SpaceX, Gwynne Shotwell, on Tuesday called on Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, a meeting that comes just days after Starlink secured a licence from the Telecom Department. Scindia said discussions centred around various opportunities for collaboration in satellite communications to power Digital India. Elon Musk's recent initiatives in India shows his increasing focus on the country. These developments come at a time when Musk's tensions with the U.S. President Donald Trump has been growing in recent times. Tesla's Entry In India After the Starlink launch, now Tesla is set to open its first showroom in India by July in Mumbai. The company is importing its Model Y SUVs from its factory in China. Tesla's first batch of vehicles, comprising five Model Y rear-wheel drive SUVs, has already arrived in India. These vehicles were shipped from Tesla's Shanghai factory. According to Bloomberg News, based on official documents, the Model Y is currently the world's best-selling electric vehicle. Tesla's first showroom will open in Mumbai, likely by mid-July after which another in New Delhi. The company has also imported parts for superchargers, car accessories, and other equipment from the U.S., China, and the Netherlands to support its operations. Tesla Car Pricing The five Model Y SUVs that arrived in Mumbai are priced at Rs 27.7 lakh each. However, due to India's high import duties, over Rs 21 lakh in tariffs have been added to the cost. Fully built imported cars priced under $40,000 are subject to a 70% tariff in India, along with additional charges. Starlink In India Starlink is a satellite internet service developed by SpaceX the American aerospace manufacturer and space transportation company founded in 2002 by the world's richest man Musk. It provides high-speed, low-latency broadband internet worldwide using satellite technology and is aptly described by some as broadband beamed from the skies. Unlike conventional satellite services that rely on distant geostationary satellites, Starlink utilises the world's largest low Earth orbit or LEO constellation (550 km above Earth). This constellation of LEO satellites (7,000 now but eventually set to grow to over 40,000) and its mesh delivers broadband internet capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, and video calls. Starlink, which had been vying for an India licence for some time now, recently signed pacts with Ambani's Reliance Jio and Mittal's Bharti Airtel, which together control more than 70 per cent of the country's telecom market, to bring the US satellite internet giant's services to India. In Bizarre Scene, Man Takes Mercedes Down Iconic Spanish Steps And Gets Stuck

Last Updated: The vehicle descended partway down the steps before coming to a complete stop. An 80-year-old man unintentionally drove his compact Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan down the famous Spanish Steps in Rome early Tuesday morning, June 12. This led to an unexpected rescue operation involving police, firefighters and a crane. The incident has sparked widespread attention both locally and online. According to a CNN report, the incident occurred around 4 AM, when the man, navigating through central Rome, mistakenly turned onto the historic staircase. The vehicle descended partway down the steps before coming to a complete stop, wedged and unable to move further. According to a statement released by city police, the man was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the incident. Officers patrolling the area stopped him and took him to a hospital as a precaution. Medical tests confirmed he had not consumed any substances, and he was found to be uninjured. The man told officers that he had been 'going to work" when the confusion happened. It is still unclear whether he was relying on a GPS for directions or driving based on memory. Video footage of the moment is now doing the rounds on the Internet. It shows the grey sedan descending the staircase before getting stuck between the steps. Later in the video, a crane can be seen lifting the car off the steps. Authorities noted that in cases involving protected heritage sites, archaeologists are called in to assess potential damage. While a visual inspection revealed damage to the vehicle, officials have yet to confirm whether the staircase itself sustained any harm. The Spanish Steps, or Scalinata di Trinità dei Monti, are among Rome's most iconic landmarks. Built in the 1720s, the grand staircase connects the Trinità dei Monti church at the top to the Piazza di Spagna below. Designed by architects Francesco de Sanctis and Alessandro Specchi, the staircase features 135 travertine stone steps. This isn't the first time the historic site has faced such an unusual incident. In 2022, a 37-year-old man from Saudi Arabia drove a Maserati down the same staircase, causing physical damage to the monument. In that case, the driver fled the scene immediately but was later tracked down using surveillance footage and rental car records. He was eventually arrested at Milan's Malpensa airport and was charged with aggravated damage to cultural heritage and monuments.
