You can now set your clocks, counting on when you'll see Michigan football taking the field officially for half of the upcoming football season.
The Big Ten officially announced six games that will feature the Wolverines, and it appears as if the maize and blue will be taking the field at least twice at night -- including the first two games of the season -- twice at noon (in Week 3 and against Ohio State), and once at 3:30 p.m. EDT (in Week 5) with one game (Wisconsin) coming either at noon or 3:30 p.m.
With the reveal, Michigan will open at The Big House against New Mexico at night with the game being broadcast on NBC. The Week 2 game at Oklahoma will also be a night game with a return to ABC, with the Sooners and the SEC being broadcast partners with ABC-ESPN. Central Michigan in Week 3 will be a noon kick on Big Ten Network. The road game at Nebraska will be on CBS at 3:30 p.m. And the Wisconsin game won't be at night, and it does not yet have a network assigned.

The Big Ten Conference and its television partners announced Thursday (May 29) the kick times and television network designations for six of the 2025 University of Michigan football games.
For the first time in school history, Michigan will open the season with consecutive night games. The Wolverines begin 2025 with its first-ever meeting against New Mexico on NBC (Aug. 30) and will follow it up with a primetime affair at Oklahoma on ABC (Sept. 6). Both games are scheduled to kick off at 7:30 pm ET. U-M will be making its first-ever trip to Norman, Okla., with the only previous game played between the two schools coming nearly 50 years ago in the 1976 Orange Bowl.
Michigan will return to Ann Arbor on Sept. 13 and face Central Michigan at noon on the Big Ten Network. This will be the fifth meeting between the two in-state schools and the first since 2013. U-M has won all four previous matchups with each game contested at Michigan Stadium.
The Maize and Blue will open the Big Ten schedule at Nebraska on Sept. 20 in a 3:30 pm affair on CBS. The Wolverines have an 8-4-1 record against the Cornhuskers and are 5-2 since Nebraska joined the conference in 2011.
After a bye week, Michigan will return to the field for a Maize Out against Wisconsin on Oct. 4. The homecoming game will kickoff at either 12 or 3:30 p.m. from Michigan Stadium. The television network and official kick time will be determined at a later date.
The final game receiving early season selection was the annual rivalry against Ohio State on Nov. 29. 'The Game' pitting the last two national champions will make its eighth appearance on FOX at 12 p.m. The Wolverines have won four straight games against the Buckeyes and hold a 62-52-6 advantage in the all-time series.

Oct. 4 – Wisconsin, 12 or 3:30 pm (TBD)
Nov. 29 – Ohio State, 12 pm (FOX)
If Bryce Underwood is to be the starting quarterback, he'll have to wait all day before he makes his debut and first road game appearance. Certainly, that game in Norman will be a hostile environment unlike any he's ever seen.
However, if Mikey Keene gets the nod, he's played at The Big House at night as Fresno State's starting quarterback playing in Ann Arbor for the season opener last year.

ESPN ranks four Ohio State football players among top 5 of 2026 NFL draft position group

The 2026 NFL draft still feels like light years away. Heck, we haven't even started fall training camp for the 2025 college football season yet. However, there are those out there who live, breathe, and eat NFL draft news, so it's a year-round consumption for some. And, yes -- there are those that cover the draft all year long, so there seems to always be something to look at. At a place like Ohio State, having players go (usually high) in the draft is the norm rather than the exception, and that figures to be the case again in 2026, though seeing a whopping 14 players won't happen like it did last April. Still, there are some NFL draft hopefuls wearing the Scarlet and Gray that figure to be some of the best at their position groups, and ESPN's Matt Miller and Jordan Reid took turns trying to identify them -- as we sit here in late June -- about ten months from the annual spectacle taking place in Pittsburgh. Here's a look at the four players the ESPN duo believes could be in the top five at their position, and what they say about each. Remember, it's still very early in this process, and how each performs during the coming campaign, where things go with injuries, and off-the-field things will all play into how this all changes. Wide Receiver, Carnell Tate Where Miller has Tate: No. 5 Where Reid has Tate: No. 4 Ohio State has had four straight NFL drafts where a receiver has been taken in the first round. Tate has the skill and work ethic to make it five-straight years, but to do it, he'll have to get enough targets and show big play ability despite playing second-fiddle to all-everything Jeremiah Smith. Max Klare, Tight End Where Miller has Tate: No. 4 Where Reid has Tate: No. 3 Klare is going to add another dimension to the passing game this year. The traditional receivers on the outside are already the best in college football. What will teams do with Klare singled up on a linebacker or safety as an outlet valve or underneath option? Ohio State is getting a known commodity here, and there's a good chance he rises to the top tight end in the country once inserted into the offense in Columbus. Sonny Styles, Linebacker Where Miller has Tate: Not Ranked Where Reid has Tate: No. 5 While it's great to see Styles at least ranked in the top five by Reid, it's quite possible folks are overlooking Styles. He's an athletic freak who's still figuring out the linebacker position and started to really show his playmaking ability last season. He can cover in space, is fast, diagnoses plays well, yet can come up and hit like a hammer. Look for a major breakout year from him and a rise up the draft boards. Caleb Downs, Safety Where Miller has Tate: No. 1 Where Reid has Tate: No. 1 No surprise here. Downs is widely known as the best safety in college football and could very well be the best defender -- even perhaps overall player -- in the game. He has unbelievable athleticism and instincts and is a true leader on and off the field. He's versatile and determined to be great. Someone is going to be happy to take him off the board in the first round next year.
