"She lost her young son."

Former Love Island winner Jess Harding hits out at 'b**chy' 2025 contestant

Jess Harding, who won ITV's Love Island back in 2023, has shared her thoughts on current contestant Antonia 'Toni' Laites - who has been causing drama in the villa Former Love Island winner Jess Harding has lashed out at one of the current contestants in a scathing social media post. The 2025 season of ITV's long-running reality dating show began earlier this month and 16 contestants are currently housed in the villa. But tensions have been bubbling between some of the contestants and 24-year-olds Antonia 'Toni' Laites and Emily Moran have clashed while taking part in the show. Viewers were startled to see Toni accuse Emily of sticking her nose in her business during a fiery exchange that aired on Friday night. ‌ Jess, 24 - who won Love Island in 2023 alongside then-boyfriend Sammy Root, 24 - was among those watching at home to take to social media to dissect the unsettling scenes. The reality star shared her shock at Toni's outburst against Emily. ‌ Siding with the British star, Jess accused American bombshell Toni of being "b**chy". In a message shared via Instagram stories, the star wrote: "Ok what the hell, just because someone isn't your cup of tea doesn't mean you can cause a big drama over it?!" Jess continued: "Toni girl I loved you but I don't like b****y behaviour & pulling crying behaviour." And she added: "Why can't the girls be 1 big group cos these men be acting CRAZY." On Friday night, fans saw tension escalate between Toni and Emily as the 2025 season endured one of its most dramatic arguments so far. Friction came to a head after the two ladies took a near instant dislike to each other after Emily entered the villa as a bombshell on day five. Toni's feather's were ruffled when she overheard a conversation between Emily and Irish contestant Conor Phillips, 25. The American bombshell then found a confidant in Shakira Khan, 22, who she shared her frustrations with. But Emily later accused Toni of talking behind her back, while fellow Islander Megan 'Meg' Moore, 25, warned Emily that Toni had branded her "nosey" and "Little Miss Sunshine." ‌ An almighty row erupted, with Emily despairing that Toni was "just trying to cause a problem," and "she's f****g nuts." All the drama could be helping generate interest in the long-running show, however. While the 2025 season got off to a low viewership start when it launched on 9 June, the audience then reportedly grew by 1.7 million streams on ITVX after the first episode aired. ‌ Some past contestants have started campaigning for the series to be axed, however, and the show has a long history of being tied to the tragic mental health declines of past contestants. This weekend, Malin Andersson, who starred on the show in 2016, voiced her concerns about the way the series is made. She told The Mirror: "It should be axed. When I was on it, we were naive, it felt more organic – still scripted but more authentic. Even then, it wasn't pure, it was full of toxicity. Now millions watch it, especially young people, and their idea of love gets completely skewed." She added: "I felt disposable, like a piece of rubbish tossed aside. In there, you're fighting to be seen, to be a main character, seeking validation. It's not healthy – it creates unrealistic drama and messes up how viewers see love." Love Island has come under fire in the past for failing to support contestant that take part in the series - however, strict after care rules were introduced in 2019 after the deaths of former contestants Sophie Gradon and Mike Thalassitis.

She also posted a picture of herself and fiancé Maxx Innes proudly displaying their baby scan in a photo booth. Ciara, 24, captioned her post: "One of me is cute but two tho? Baby Innes pending.." Coleen Nolan's Loose Women co-star Ruth Langsford was quick to leave a congratulatory message, writing: "WONDERFUL! Congratulations!" Former panelist Saira Khan chimed in with: "Wow! ! She's currently on holiday in Faliraki with her mum, who has been sharing updates from their trip on social media. This joyous news comes just over a year after Ciara got engaged to Maxx. In April 2025, a thrilled Coleen shared a photo of Ciara and her fiancé in a romantic pose, confirming her daughter was officially off the market. "Well, what can I say....I'm so so delighted that @maxxinnes has asked my beautiful daughter @ciarafensome to marry him," Coleen wrote at the time. "I love them both soooo much. Miss them even more! "Congratulations @ciarafensome," Loose Women co-star Denise Welch penned. Charlene White quickly chimed in with "congrats! ! !" and Kelle Bryan added, "Such lovely news." Despite divorcing Ciara's father Ray in 2018, Coleen, who also shares two sons with ex Shane Richie, has maintained a close friendship with him. The ITV star, who has yet to comment on the baby news, is already a grandmother to two children. In 2016, her eldest son Shane Jr welcomed a daughter named Amelia. Then, in November 2024, her son Jake became a father to a little boy.

Mom, 36, reveals she's left strangers stunned as they regularly mistake her and teenage daughter, 18, for sisters

A Scottish mother from Glasgow has gone viral as people often mistake her and her daughter for twins. Lisa Johnston said people were often 'gobsmacked' when they found out she was 36 and the mom of 18-year-old Alicia Johnston, whom she calls her 'built-in best friend'. She has claimed heads turn in public when Alicia calls her 'mom', adding that they often share clothes, make-up, shoes and even friends with one another. The mother-of-two regularly posts TikTok videos with Alicia, leaving social media users baffled. Lisa said: 'Everybody's a bit gobsmacked. We've been out a couple of times together at pubs and things like that and everybody can't believe it either. They're like, "What? Are you friends or sisters?". 'Someone once asked to see my ID because they couldn't believe it in one of the pubs we were at in town. We could be out doing a food shop or something and maybe Alicia will turn around and say "mom, can I get this?" 'And you see people turn around and look as if to say, "mom?". They're really confused.' Lisa added: 'People thought when I was picking Alicia up from school that it was her older sister. 'People were like, "you're picking your daughter up? What?". I used to just laugh it off. They say I look really young, it's quite nice actually, it's a confidence boost. It's nice to know that I've actually produced a mini me. A few people have said we're like 'copy and paste' of each other. 'The more Alicia is getting older, I can now see the big resemblance especially when we're doing the videos and things together. It is kind of like who's who?' Lisa said: 'Fitness and healthy eating is a big part of my lifestyle. I go to the gym five times a week. 'I just try not to get too stressed out. I take life as fun, we're all just living life. 'I don't get myself too riled up on anything, I think that's a big part as well. It really is like having a built-in best friend.' Lisa is also great pals with all of Alicia's friends, with the daughter adding: 'My friends love coming over because my mum is like a friend. They'll just chat away to her. 'There will be times where I'm minding my own business and I'll get a phone call and they're like, "I'm out with your mom right now". She's part of the friendship group. I'm never really bothered when people mistake us for sisters, I think it's funny. 'I would say this only started when I was about 15. I was just starting TikTok and me and mum were making TikTok videos together sometimes. 'As I got older and I looked more like my mum, people were like, "oh my God, you actually look so similar". 'We've basically got the same make-up routine and everything. So it's actually good sharing make-up shoes, hair products, everything.' Alicia and Lisa share the same love of looking glam, and the mom has even taken an eyelash course so she can do her daughter's lashes on a budget. Lisa said: 'I ended up showing Alicia how to do them as well so that was something that we do together. It was something I could pass down to her. 'I was like, "as they get older, the girls will want things done and their mom can do it instead of spending hundreds of pounds".' Social media users have been quick to share their confusion with some even questioning if they are really mother and daughter. One user said: 'That is not your mommy she looks in her 20s.' A second added: 'Nah both look as young as each other. Sisters definitely.'
