Myeza is well known for his educational and humorous skit characters, including MakaThangithini. In a statement released on Thursday morning, family spokesperson Lomsongaka Myeza said the incident happened earlier this week on Tuesday evening, 17 June. Target launches $80 genuine suede leather bag collection
An $80 bag from Target is quickly becoming a favourite among shoppers, offering genuine suede leather at a fraction of the price of many luxury alternatives. Suede is all the rage currently this winter in Australia, from suede loafers to suede bomber jackets, but finding genuine leather ones is a costly affair. For example, the Sienna Brown Suede bag from Vestirsi retails for $349, and the Tony Bianco Mily Espresso Suede Tote costs $249, which is why when Target dropped their own version of the suede over-the-shoulder bag, TikTokers lost their minds. TikToker can't believe her find One user, Emma Vosti, took to TikTok to rave about the find, saying: 'You will not believe what I got at Target yesterday. You just won't'. 'It came in its own dust bag,' she explained in awe as she pulled out the Chocolate Premium Suede Leather Slouch Shoulder Bag. She particularly loved all the small details that gave the bag a luxe touch. 'It's got lining on the bottom. It's a beautiful colour. It's got the stitching detail. Are you kidding me?' she raved, before showing a tag inside the bag that said 'suede leather'. The comments echoed her excitement, with one person saying they even left work early to go buy it. Others described it as 'beautiful' and 'chic'. Another simply said 'sold'. One fan admitted, 'I didn't realise Target did leather bags'. Influencer Steph Claire Smith even joined in on the hype and declared: 'That's a win'. Another commenter revealed, 'I truly have never been so quickly influenced. Bought it but have to find a way to drive to the town three hours away'. 'What I'm shocked!!!' said someone else. 'Going right now,' wrote another shopper. Target's new suede range Carrie Kirkman, General Manager of Merchandise at Target Australia, told 'At Target, we're passionate about giving our customers access to on-trend, high-quality pieces that are effortless and elevated – but importantly also affordable. 'Our new range of suede bags delivers on all fronts – it's made from genuine leather with that soft, velvety texture everyone loves, and is available in a fresh seasonal palette.' She said the first drop of bags is still arriving in stores across the country and landing online next week, but she's loving seeing the hype online already. 'It's been great to see the early response from our social media community. My personal favourite is the Suede Leather Slouch Shoulder Bag – it instantly elevates any look and, at just $80 for genuine suede, is at an incredible price point,' she said. The details The Premium Suede Leather Slouch Shoulder Bag is available in two colours, sand and chocolate. Crafted from soft, premium suede leather, it features a relaxed, slouchy silhouette and a thick, comfortable shoulder strap, making it ideal for carrying essentials throughout the day. Another popular bag in the collection is the Crescent Shoulder Bag, priced at $45, which is available in tan, chocolate, sand, and khaki. It's smaller than the shoulder bag, but still large enough to hold everyday essentials like your phone, wallet, and keys. The Bucket Tote Bag is another bag in the range, coming in three colours: tan, chocolate and khaki and also priced at $80. It features a large, rectangular design and an inner, removable small purse with a zip top closure. With genuine suede leather at such accessible prices, we're going to use the cliche here and say 'run don't walk' – as these bags are sure to fly off the shelves. 'My EV charged 76 miles in minutes for £6 - fuel drivers are missing a trick'
British motorist Jordan has busted one of the biggest myths surrounding electrical vehicles (EVs) after revealing just how cheap it costs to charge his car over 75 miles A switched-on TikToker has pointed out a key advantage to electric vehicles (EVs) that many petrol and diesel drivers might be overlooking. User Jordan the EV Guy recently shared a practical video demonstration of how quick, easy and affordable charging an EV really is. In a now-viral video, he begins by posing the question: "How fast can you charge an electric car when it's not already over 80 per cent?" To answer, Jordan set himself a real-world challenge to see how many miles he could add to his EV in less than 10 minutes. While he didn't actually need to charge his EV — as there were already enough miles on it to get home — Jordan took heed of his own advice. "I always say charge while stopped," he explained. He recommends taking advantage of any pause in your journey to top up your battery, even just a little, rather than waiting to do so until it's low. Before charging, his car displayed 31 miles of range. He plugged in at 3.38 pm and headed inside as he was 'dying for a drink and the loo'. Making a point of not obsessing over the charging stats or kilowatts delivered, he simply plugged it in and went about his business. Jordan observed an interesting phenomenon — several petrol cars parked near his EV were still there on his return. He spotted the same red Volkswagen Golf, silver Ford Fiesta and Audi A3 still sitting there, challenging the myth that petrol drivers never have to stop for long periods of time, while EV drivers supposedly do. Jordan exclaimed: "Don't ever tell me that petrol cars don't stop for longer than EVs." Jordan returned to his car at 3.47 pm. His EV was still plugged in, with its range now reading 107 miles. So in just nine minutes, he added 76 miles of range at a cost of 'just over £6', describing it as a 'rapid fast pit stop'. He also pointed out that if he had stayed as long as the petrol drivers he observed, he could have added even more miles. His key piece of advice is simple: "Charge while stopped and just take what you need. There is no need to be sitting around." This experience underlines a crucial benefit of EV ownership that many fossil fuel drivers might not realise — charging needn't be a massive inconvenience. With rapid chargers and a bit of planning, you can top up your EV in the time it takes to grab a coffee and use the restroom. As Jordan's story shows, some petrol and diesel drivers really are missing a trick.

TikToker allegedly raped by two men
A social media influencer and TikToker from Taxila was allegedly gang-raped by two men on the pretext of a job offer. As per reports, a 25-year-old woman was lured for a job offer and called in by the two suspects, Najeeb Khan and Faizan. According to her statement, she went to a location near Khanpur Road, where the suspects boarded her in their car and raped her. The suspects also allegedly snatched her phone, Rs3,000 in cash and a gold pendant before abandoning her. Despite reporting the incident to the police, the authorities reportedly hesitated to register a case, and the woman was sent back to Taxila after a perfunctory investigation. When the woman reported the crime to the Khanpur police station, but instead of registering a case, the police allegedly labeled her a "prostitute" and contacted her husband to come to the station. The woman was then sent back home with her husband, who has reportedly been having marital issues with her for the past three years. Sources claim that the accused men have police backing, which raises questions about the police's handling of the case. The fact that the police did not take action on the woman's complaint and instead sent her back with her husband has sparked concerns about the fairness of the justice system in the area. Local sources say that seeking justice from the Khanpur police is extremely challenging, and that the woman may need to reach out to high-ranking officials like the Hazara DIG or Haripur DPO to get her case heard. Meanwhile, the police officer on duty claimed that the woman had gone to Khanpur Dam with the accused individuals of her own accord and that the matter had been resolved.

Curvy fashion fan praises dress which makes her ‘so confident' – it's perfect for top heavy girls & no is bra needed
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IT can be hard to find a summer dress if you're somewhat top heavy. Bra straps can prove unsightly under anything too strappy, and it can seem impossible to find something supportive enough to go bra-free. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 3 TikTok user Jess showed her followers the dress that left her feeling 'so confident' Credit: tiktok/@jessdoinglifee 3 Jess explained that the look had such good chest support that she didn't have to wear a bra Credit: tiktok/@jessdoinglifee TikTok user and curvy fashion fan Jess (@jessdoinglifee) shared the summer dress she found that left her feeling more confident than ever. "I have never felt as confident in my whole life than what I do right now in this dress," she said as she modelled the look for her followers. "The most confident I've felt in a dress in years." The scoop neck midi dress is from the fashion brand Mooslover, which features a variety of styles with shape wear built in. Normally between a size 16 and 18, the five-foot-one influencer picked up the look in a 2XL. Jess explained that the sleek look even had built-in shape wear, allowing her to go without underwear and avoid unsightly lines. She added that the shapewear even had a slit, making it easy to use the loo. But perhaps the most enticing feature for curvier woman is the chest support. "I am quite a top-heavy girl and it's got like a built-in bra," Jess told her audience. The TikToker turned to the side to show her viewers the support the dress provided her. I'm a midsize mum and put different shapewear to the test - I swear by an M&S pair that help fight chub rub She went on to describe how amazing she felt in the look, adding that she wanted to get every colour on offer. "It just makes me feel that good and that confident," Jess reiterated to her followers. She praised the fashion brand for knocking it out of the park with the shape wear and chest support. "Mooslover have really pulled it out of the bag with this, wow is all I can say, I'd recommend everybody to give this a go, amazing," Jess said. The brand are known for their innovative shapewear, which often includes removeable bra pads, an open gusset, and extra room for the butt. Hottest fashion trends of 2025 Fabulous' Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend shares the biggest trends from the high street. The East/West Bag Baguette bags have had a good run, after returning from the 1990s' shoulders of Sarah Jessica Parker to modern-day fashion icons, like Hailey Bieber. In 2025, the East/West bag is a similar but elongated shape and has long, thin straps that are easy to throw over your shoulder. They've been on runway models' arms at nearly ever designer show - think Burberry, Givenchy and Bottega Veneta - and are hitting the high street now, too. Powder pink Bright fuchsia pink had its day after the release of Barbie in 2023 and now the more polished and expensive-looking pale shade is taking over for 2025. Pantone may say that it's the year of Mocha Mousse, but the catwalks say otherwise! From Prada to Erdem, the subtle look was all over the spring/summer catwalks, worn head-to-toe or on its own. If the sugary shade is too girly for you, then look to sharp suiting for a androgynous take on the colour. The shell jacket The '80s classic is back, but with a sleek and minimal new twist for 2025. We all know we're likely to see rain for most of spring, so your practical coat of choice should be a cagoule jacket. Depop revealed one of its big trend predictions for this year is retro sportswear, with surges already seen in '80s windbreakers'. Seen everywhere from the stylish streets of Copenhagen to the Miu Miu catwalk, now mums who have an emergency raincoat crumpled underneath their pushchair are very much in fashion! The turn-up jeans While the shape of jeans remains the same for this year and barrel-legs will still be everywhere, the way we're styling them is different. This season, transform your wide-leg, baggy denims into turn-ups. For this look, size doesn't matter, so while deep turn-ups are a hit from jean trend-leaders Citizens of Humanity, a slight fold is still just as good - but only as it's just one single fold. Peep-toe shoe Get your pedicures booked in sharpish, as this season your toes are the main event. After a long hiatus, the peep-toe has been welcomed back into the fashion fold, with brands like Hermes, Miu Miu and Tory Burch showing plain and embellished footwear in this style. From mules to pumps and clogs (yes, clogs will be around too!), there are lots of different styles that are set to sweep the high street. Sheer blouses See-through looks have always lived on the catwalk, but have rarely filtered into everyday life - until now. Designers Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford loved sheer looks on their S/S '25 catwalks and M&S even had sellout success with its black sheer pencil skirt last season. Expect to see more sheer looks lining supermarket aisles and high street shops in the form of skirts, tops and frocks. Jess' followers shared their thoughts on the stylish look in the comments section. "You look amazing in that dress, get them all," wrote one impressed viewer. "You look absolutely incredible, Jess," agreed another TikTok user. "You're looking really good, you [would] want to be proud of yourself," commented a third person. "Wow Jess, you look phenomenal," wrote another one of Jess' followers. One viewer compared her to the cartoon character Jessica Rabbit, who famously wears a sleek skin-tight dress.
